Yesterday, Monday, we left the temple at 6.30AM in the company of Raja-gopal Agrawaal or someone of a similar name. Uber driver from Indianapolis 500.

Went to where was Prabhupada's birth place. Five story walk up to 25 university students living in ISKCON Student's ashrama. About 400-students in different ISKCON Kolkata University Ashramas.

Kirtan, class, discussion about NIOS.   Fight to get to Asutosh College, 100-years old. Hall was full: 120 students and 5-professors, 75% girls (!).

Wanted to lecture for 45-minutes and then Q & A, but they kept pushing so was 1-1/2-hours, and now planning for more programs, even writing for 'Solaris'.

Back to the Temple!  6.30AM - 2.30PM.    Aaaaaaargh!    Had to rest Brother Ass.

Sunday was the same. SB, Sunday Feast Lecture, sold 41-LOBs, every day working on next book with Dr. Samaresh, promoting NIOS.

Now, tomorrow we fly... Zoom!   Zoom!  Zoom! to Agartala, North East, Jungle, Head-hunters, followers of Lord Caitanya for 300-years. Temples of straw. Hari Bolo!

We just look at the mail, for any URGENT letters and hope to get to it later.

Lot of stress, but we rest.

As long as we get up early and get good rounds done, then we always can help a little with the Sankirtan.

We just saw Dr. Samaresh off. He had to go back to the Asiatic Society and then home.

Chest pains are like 93% reduced.

Here we are in Room 404. It is 7.07PM. It is chilly and dark outside. The population density of India is like six times that of Mexico and most other places also, probably. Lots of people. Arati each night is not too crowded. The Temple room is about half full. We can dance for Radharani and Govinda.

We have some aching in our chest, but it does not seem to be getting worse. Some aarhythmia. We eat Kitri, Chapati, Subji for breakfast. Little maha-fruit later and then hot milk at night.

Hmmm.   Seems to be the best cure for everything: Chant, Dancing and Feasting.

Our central work is posting Dr. Samaresh's edits to the hard copies of the articles for the book on Vedic education. It is very satisfying work. They are good books. They are Sankirtan books.

We have other stuff connected in the periphery: Peru, Bhadra-rupa, North East tour, Vraja . . .

We are in the New Woodlands Hotel in Chennai, India. Maybe there is a Woodlands Hotel in England. It is pretty nice. Everywhere on the road you see restaurants broadcasting their Vegetarian cooking.

We went to Kanchi to the ancient Visnu temple. They still have some interest from local people and pilgrims, but they have descended to almost nil as respectable heads of empires and kingdoms. We are working a lot in the movie that K. Ksetra Swami is filming and of course the Srimad Bhagavata symposium. It is composed of very, very respectable scholars of the history of SB art, the relation of Mayavadi traditions with SB etc etc. Many ISKCON folk. It is a great strain to relate to many things because of the Jnana perspective of modern scholarship, but we are meeting many nice people and gaining excellent education.

Heart pains down from 71% to 15%. Wrote a letter to Delta summarizing our problems and asking to be upgaded to sleeper class on the way back. Little headache. Stomach 91% peaceful [Brother Ass reporting].

We are going over our PPTX for today. Is really a challenge presenting before some of the best scholars in the world. Hare Krsna.

Already a lot of calls from Manipur, Mayapura, Kolkata. . . We realize that our Donkey is nearly 70 Hippy, ISKCON, years old. We have to focus on a little area and learn to relate to the bigger world around us. Our job is to wash and dry the hair on the elefant's tail. but through that we can understand what they are feeding him, how they are running him...

Hare Krsna. Still hope stay in touch with the Bh.Sastri workshop and the Saturday morning workshop.

O.K. .  .  .  7AM and only six rounds done, but seems to be on schedule. Our physical strength is verry low but healthy and the Holy Names seem very substantial and happy.

We look for URGENT letters in the Blog, but that's all we can do now.

It was a long HARD struggle. 68-hours of hard travel with no breaks, sleeping two nights in airports. Five flights cancelled and rebooked. Had excellent with meeting last night a the homes of two bid scholars with Radhika and Yuddhistira Prabhu.

Health pretty good.

Madhu-manjari and Tunga vidya Devi Dasi are here with one other friend from Australia.

Time to go for a walk.

Pretty much we had 97% engagement today. The ladies made a Mexican lunch for Lord Nrsmhadeva with stuffed chile, peas-porridge, salad, baked sweat potatoe etc.

He seemed wickedly satisfied.

Is such an adventure taking Prasadam while meditating very carefully on how it will react in terms of our service.

Mexico, Mexico, Mexico - Could be the most Krsna conscious place in the world. Sunshine, Catholic Churches from the Conquistadores. Aztec blood. Here Jagannatha is a natural Deity. Radha Madan-gopal look like Mexican fairy dreams.

Flowers, fruits, fruits, flowers.

Atma ananda Das of Peru called. We talked for about 30-minutes. Very much harmony in vision. Many practical plans.

Hare Krsna!   We just arrived in Mexico. Packing and adjusting all the business in Murfreesboro, flying to Houston and 10-hours of intense programs in transit, then stress of travel, arrived here. Staying is Vidagdha Das apartment. He, Mataji and the two boys move out for us!!

Can walk to the Temple in 13-minutes. 108-devotees out on Sankirtan. A little rest then at 6PM we go for Arati and Class and Christmas Festival.
