Tom Brown (Kris Knox)  -  Ho! HO!  He! He!  Hari!  Hari!

It is 5.54PM.  All the mail is caught up to three days ago. Now we scoop for Spain.   Did Meta-soft work, and NIOS State filing requierements today. Had to go to Office Depot. Buy ink, and after two months got our printer working.

The roof on the porch blew off like 85% last night. It was coming off. We called Tandavika Das in Austin and he said he would get back by Sunday and call roofers by Monday or Tuesday. We sent the pictures and said that it might be more urgent than that.

Lot of Tweeting with poems pretty early.

All this administration gets boring to us. Some is a lot of fun. Then we want to take lots of Maha-prasada fruit and read some well written historical fiction. We have to purify our gross body so that we can read the Krsna book like that.

Is this true of you also?

Lot of things, but we chant Hare Krsna, take bath a few times a day and try to answer our mail. Calendars come from Friendships.

Tomorrow we write from Atlanta, then... New Vraja Mandala???

 'are Krsna, Mates,

We just uploaded our current annotated NOI: www.jayarama.us/archives/asa-noi170326.docx, which includes a reference to:  www.jayarama.us/archives/jaiva-40.docx, as as source of more explanation of the 'dasas', stage of devotional service, mentioned in Text 8

In the Sunday, Boise, SB class, 1.2.16 we noticed that even the Asuras who Krsna declares that He send to hell forever can get escape from that by the mercy of the preachers.

World Classical Literature: "She" by H. Rider Haggard. List of most read books: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_best-selling_books. We want to get the KRSNA book on this list, no? What makes a book well read? Of course, one answer is that it is a good book and it is an old book. Then many people have a chance to read it for a long time. We also noticed that a book is satisfying if it doesn't just end, but rather satisfies us as a complete meal but then indicates what to read next.

Our mail is keeping pretty current. You can see the "Seattle Symposium" letter. Now we are waiting for a letter from Sattva, Abhirama Th. Das, to make the next move on "Psychology and the Sacred".

All these projects are too big for us. We are just doing our work to organize our little contribution. That's the way for everyone, no?

"Oh, my Lord, my boat is so small and your ocean is so big."

Tomorrow we have to pack: Mind, Body and Soul, for our trip to New Vraja Mandala.

On the way to NGD's ashrama we just stopped at Kamya-van, Good-will Store. It is a second hand store. We were looking for a nice briefcase for the Blue Baboon and others.

Hare Krsna, Dudes and Dudins!
We are here in Murphy's Boro with HpSwami et al.

. . . Like next week, we head for Atlanta and Spain.

We just got all the mail caught up!!   No letters older than 2-days waiting [!],  but,  now we will go traveling, so again we will only be answering URGENT letters during that time . . . regular stuff, like BOISE KIDS.

That's April 1-12th.  Look at the Calendar in the Kapi dhvaja.

How are you?  How is your health?  Where are you?

These are all pretty strange questions in some since, no, because we are not these bodies, anymore than we are the characters in the movie we are watching.

Of course, once we become devotees, we get more or less control over our puppets. We can use them to preach to each other and others.

             <img alt="devil" height="23" src="http://hps.monkeywarrior.com/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/devil_smile.png" title="devil" width="23" /> - "Hello, I am the Evil One".

                <img alt="cool" height="23" src="http://hps.monkeywarrior.com/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/shades_smile.png" title="cool" width="23" /> - "Oh, I am the Teacher".

THERE IS ONLY ONE PURPOSE IN LIFE: BE HAPPY!     [Prabhupada told this to Jayananda Das].

         Hari Bolo!!!

But we cannot be happy without our friend:   K R S N A !      Forget the Yamaraja and Maha-visnu job, sometimes!
Go on Sankirtan with Lord Nityananda. Hide behind Him when Jagai and Madhai come down the street.

Now we will chant HK and develop our Calendar.    Tonight we will drive our 'new', year 2000 Mercedes, to Amit's house, about 20-miles away and hope the wheels don't fall off. We will have an Evening Program and talk about how he can take charge of NIOS. He's a Doctor. His father, Madhava Das, was initiated by H. H. Gopal Krsna Goswami (as I remember), his good wife is PhD in chemisty.

                      Tomorrow is TLC.

We will write some more about the "Seattle Symposium" and wait in great expectation for the news from Sattva that BNP has signed the agreement to co-sponsor "Art and the Sacred" in 2018. The minute that happens we can contact the Ambasador, ICCR, Maha-prabhu in Uraguay.

Maybe we will be able to read Hari-nama Cintamani and the Introduction to Jung's Red Book, write a Bhagavata commentary with RRD and NGD for publication.

Maybe we can get into a good dialog with the Jesuits in Peru! Maybe...   {Piggy: Maybe you can get your rounds done today. (TB: Oh, yeah!  Gotta do that too!)}

Hare Krsna!

Yesterday we talked with NGD on the phone, then had a 30-minute discussion with Radhika-ramana Das about Education with ISKCON, then we talked with Tom Daigle for 30-minutes, then Bhakta Jyodo came to our door. Then we had the class in Boise, then we talked with Abhiseka, NGD son, then we went to NGD ashrama in our new[old] car and walked and talked and dined. Then we cam back to our Ashrama and read World Classical Literature, and could not answer, write, other letters.

The Blog is caught up for the last few days until about three days ago. Then we have some older letters from up to a month ago, but we are answering them. We are getting our senese, schedule, work, more and more under control. Is a struggle, just like you. One Dude is attached to smoking, another to Burfi and fudge. One to the life of Dvaraka another from Vaikuntha will not budge, but the Rasa-lila of Vraja stands mighty above so much more fun, so lets move in that directions, and see what needs to be done.

TB was still sitting in the jungle. The powerful Nubian bearers were cooking breakfast. All the white-women had reformed the evil Dutch ivory poachers, married them, and sailed back to Ing Land.
TB wondered who, 'Ing', was.
He was also looking w/ amazement at Piggy, BW [Buck White], who was busy with his bath and laundry and singing HK/HR Kirtan. It seemed that his bath-kirtan was just as important to him as Mangala-arati Kirtan.

He also noticed that while doing his fortnightly shave Buck had nicked himself and that it took the darnedest longest time to get the bleeding to stop. Buck and his father were surgically certified mildly hemophiliacs.

"Everybody's rid'n a different Donkey",  thought TB, "Become self-realized, build your character and teach".

That was different than: Sit still while I instill. Rather it was: The Teacher is the Midwife of the Psyche. Education in its mayority was waking up, recovery from amnesia, look'n down ' see'n what color donkey you was rid'n

TB shouldered his portable type-writer, stepped into line and moved out. He didn't have the slightest idea where they were [except that he was in Africa] nor where they were going [to look for Janaki-nandini] but he knew that they were on their way.

Where am I going? I don't know.
What am I doing? I don't care.
All I know is I am on my way.

Mode of Passion, come along!
Mode of Passion, sing a song!
All I know is I am on my way.

Tom Brown pulled out the paper.
closed his typewriter,
leaned back stool-wise.
and softly chanted HK/HR on his 'monkey mala' [18-beads].
His eyes were half closed and there was a grin from [h]ear to [h]ear.

his black african slaves were setting up camp,
grimacing at white women,
and chanting, "me ooooh! canau! [me ooooh! canau!]" like they had seen on the YouTube yesterday.

yes, it is 1897, africa, west nigeria and this is the famous Banana-rama expedition gone in search of Lord Chandra Dawson who was lost one year previously.

[NOTICE - Three Possible Cause for Victory]

. . .

YESTERDAY, while marching, they had encountered the evil Fu Tan Chu who was laughing and theatening white women with his whip.

in revenge the white-women had hurled him down into the river GoBo,

where he was set-upon by half a dozen hungry croc o'dyles, who ripped him into pieces and ate him without chewing thoroughly nor brushing afterwards, and were observed in this broiling turmoil of blood and fat by the ladys who had then raised the backs of their delicate hands to their soft ruby lips and said, 'oh, my goodness'!

TB at the head of his column of 27 four-hundred pound, 7-foot tall, black Nubian porters, and 13-evil Dutch ivory poachers, just swung his typwriter case back onto his shoulder and commented, 'Evil is always punished' and moved on.

The white-women again chanted, "Ahhh!" and also moved on.

Lord Chandra had been son of the First Sky Lord of the British Empire, an unqeuncheable reformer in the dungeons of the Dragon Gorge Correctional House for Felons of Capital Crimes, and had set off into an uncharted part of Africa looking for the kidnapped daughter of Lord John Och, First Earl of Myteal La.
