Tom Brown:

Brother Ass, has every mass, of being Dog-Dog sick,

But chanting Holy Names refrains,

The material chaos,

And sustains,

A hope in heart, that the soul'll awake, and take its part, in the Bhaktivedanta Band.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Our postion is the Full Morning Program. Arising as early after midnight as possible and chanting Japa. We give our life to this foundation and then during the day we are now mostly just responding to requests from others and the impetous the FMP gives us eg. Now we are working on the Ministry News-letter.

Seems like this will work and the world that results from this will have a very, very substantial foundation, even allow us to prepare for old-age and death. It will be a preaching world.

Buck White:
Behind this is "Kirtaniya sada harihi", always chant the Names of God within the core of your heart as authorized by Srila Prabhupada.

 aare Krsna!

You can see from the letter to Dr. Kalyankumar Chakravarty that we are under great pressure here, but also experiencing great association and Sankirtan.

We are on the second story here in Mathuresa Das' home. The keys on this computer are different than what is marked on the keyboard. We have stomach turmoil even after some milk and a nice bananana, but when we hear about the HELL people face in Serbia and such, then we don't complain. It is gettng dark. It is about 46-degrees Farenheit and night and gets a little warm during the day. There is a lot of sunlight and fresh air. You can walk out the door and see, smell, cows. There are so many devotees today arriving from La Paz etc. Some disciples no one has seen for more than a year!  Someone is chanting with the harmonium downstairs and in 14-minutes we will all pile in cows, mount motor cycles and take the 15-minute drive to Cochabamba where the temple is in Rudra simha Das home.

Hamlet and Arjuna played to a full auditorium last night with good questions - What is Karma? Did Hamlet have a Guru like Arjuna had?

We gave class on SB 6.9.31 plus this morning, went for a walk up the back roads to Tiquipaya with about 15 devotees and sat in the Church for some Japa. We wrote letters. You can see them. Shaved in the cold water.

Now we will write a short story.

TREE TOP TELL TALES

Once there was a donkey named Dilson who spoke Latin and French.

He did not know the difference between atoms and Adam, but he loved to recite the books of Prabhupada while sitting in the park on a bench.

It was summer and the beach was visible below. People would come and spread their blankets each day, and though he never talked with them they all stayed and listened to the poems.

He read of the Sone of Drona Punished and Krsna Enters Dvaraka.

After all this he dug deep into cyber space and found other stories of Sita and Rama.

Hare Krsna, Hare Rama.

When the puris puff up and Baby Krsna laughs and claps His hands, everything is very, very nice.

Hare Krsna!

AGTSP. Paoho

Here we are in Tiquipaya, Bolivia, not far from Cochabamba. It is Ekadasi so we mostly just have energy for hearing and chanting.

Can we make an impact in the world?

What is the specific contribution that we have to offer?

Bessie Smith ate an apple in Israel and then wrapped the core in a napkin and put it in her coat pocket. She forgot about it until she returned to USA, Texas, and then when she found it she thought, "Let me just plant the seeds.". Now there are "Bessie Smith" apples all over the region. Shows you how one seed can spread everywhere.

Now we are headed for the Temple in Chochabamba. We have asked to have internet and go on line with StartMeeting.com for our regular Wednesday night Bhakti-Sastri workshop.

Hare Krsna. Hare Rama.

If you don't know what to do,
The Holy Names will always inform you!

Reading Srila Prabhupada's books is a convenient way to chant the Holy Names also.

Hare Krrsna, Prabhus,

AGTSP. Paoho.

We danced with Bh. Bhusana Swami yesterday. Poked one of the ladies in the breast while dancing (Ugh!) and flew from Arrequipa to Lima.

The children's Jagannatha Padayatra in Chosica was great, just didn't have banners, flyers and a Parade Marshall.

We are getting little fat (Ugh!    Ugh!) but not eating anymore than before. Must be our Jupiter phase.

Today we fly to Cusco. We are passing with no translator now. We can do nice fire sacrifices but Rama-Sundari Das did a  very impressive one for Arrequipa.

Our aspiration is to write something that will sell Srila Prabhupada's books, glorify, illuminate Srila Prabhupada's books.

If you want to see his lotus feet, then you can do it through his books.

+++

We are exchanging nice letters with Ananta-Rupa Das in Boise about developing SB classes in the Boise Temple. We consider it a very central ISKCON Temple.

We noticed that it describes in the SB that different demigods were attending different events while hovering in the sky in their airplanes. This is like attending by SKYPE?

O.K. Here we go to Cusco.

Hare Krsna,

Hare Krsna,

We are in Hell, how about you?
Are you shivering and coughing as you read this too?

Our fever is 95% defeated by the armies of the Yoga Damned.

Tonight is the "Night of the Living Prabhupada and Carl Jung".

Last night was super, super, super successful program with National Poet Laurreaute, heads of National Libararies etc here in Santiago. It was so exciting: Hamlet and Arjuna, violin, sitar, prasadama, marble arches, greatest authority on Hamlet translation in the Spanish world. Ooof. Still reeling from the shock.

Answered all the mail. Got 15 rounds done. Need to call one devotee about local politics. Go for harinama sankirtan at five with two feet o jackets.

How are you?   Sankirtan trumps our crazy political mind everytime.

KapiDhvaja goes tomorrow?

O.K. Here we go.

Make a big sound for Srila Prabhupada.

Hare Krsna.  TB here.

Wrote this letter two times and lost it. Keyboard is on our legs and we seem to keep jumping to some other tab.

Life's like that for us. Same for you? In one of the lesser, less prestigious hells?

Here it is cold and dark and people are moving like city robots outside banging on pipes and making noise while dogs bark.

Oink! Hare Krsna.

Every evening since we came to Saintly Awgo we have been in a different venue, yoga studio, theater and always packed with intelligent people.

Devotees are so attentive but when you travel things are always different. Takes days to figure out the local dinning arrangements. We have adopted the strategy of taking breakfast with the devotees and then only hot milk in the after noon.

Sun comes up behind the clouds and Catholic hamsters beat their drums in shrouds.

We are terrified of the program Thurday on "Hamlet and Arjuna". Laksmana did a great translation of our Power Point show, but we need something much deeper to reach the kind of audience that is coming. It will be in the National Library and Raul Zurita, the national poet will be there.

Be honest. Show what you have. Let them buy BGs. Improve it if you can.

AGTSP.     The first sentence of SB, Preface is our guide, "We must know the current need of human society".

Whenever we meet anybody we have to look in their eyes. Note their gait. Pray to God in the Heart to intimate, WHAT THEY NEED. Then don't hesitate.

There is a Center. Where all our senses become energized in perfect co-ordination and we can prepare to go out and join up with the fleet. For the battle of Good and Evil.

Chile seems like a place where it can take place today. USA is plasticated.

. , , , , , , , , , , , ,,

We answered a lot of letters. Our eyes are pretty good. This HP smart phone and external keyboard are working pretty well.

We can bathe and Parasurama Das gets our clothes washed. He is a genius. So at least we are pretty clean in hell.

Guess it is about the same for girls, even if they like designer clothes.

Krsna is the only hope.

We have absolutely no big plans at the present moment. Things are going on in the association of Peru devotees. Little light from India. USA et al.  Mexico.  At heart we are all together.

We can only do this kind of low level, 'ordinary tasks' work, for a few hours each day then we tend to die and look for some plank to keep us afloat.

That's all we have to do, no?   Stay alive with a full morning program and four principles, then ISKCON, devotees, decent folk, will ask us for help in their band.

Then maybe Krsna will arrange for us to meet with someone like our intimate selves. Maybe Himself.

It happens.

Our "Big Plan" is just to keep Srila Prabhupada's feet in our heart and pray that we don't cause him distress and try to be of service there. If that generates external knowledge then it is O.K.
