Hare Krsna!

People think that we, Tom Brown, are the same person as HpSwami, but no siree bob!   Tha just ain't true?

HpSwami is mostly a persona, personality, just like us, used by the eternal associate of Krsna who is the atma in this body who is still mostly asleep to his real identity.

We recomend that everybody learn to release the Monkey within.

Gosh, if this atma had to live as just one persona all the time he would go nutz!

(80-90% of the people in the world are nutz. Many ISKCON devotees are about 50% nutz).

We are so happy to get communication going with ART Das and Sattva!  He sent his report and we answered. Next Ekadasi we hope he contemplates his next report and then sends it a few days later.

We all know he is such a hard working devotee.

Besides mail, we also had the full Sunday Festival online. Six ... eight devotees joined us.     We were 10-minutes late!!!   Were talking Sankirtan with Tandavika Das.

We are at his house for the weekend.

At 3PM we will go to the Vinod Agraval Bhajan at the BIG Ganesha Temple in Nashville. He is our hero. We have not met him before.

KRSNA is the most congenial friend. He knows us pretty well and just wants to engage us in the practical activity of Vrndavan. Important work of Vrndavana.

Vrndavana is just a little town, village, in a big forest, unknown, forgotten by most of the world. A road comes in from one side and goes out from the other. Sometimes people pass by but mostly it is just lost to its local partys and work and prosperity.

We are in a lot of pain.  Well who wouldn't be. I guess so are you. Anybody in this material world is suffering. Even when Krsna was personally present in Vrndavana there were demons coming who were so terrifying that they were causing the girls so have miscarriages!

              But we fight!

                            You fight!

Booo!    BaBoooo!    The trumpets of the Anjana Suta Academy, the second greatest Sankirtan party in ISKCON (Also the second to worst).

It is Sunday, 4.20PM, here in hell (Murfreesboro). Even the mode of passion is gone. It is very Tamasic, Sunday after 4th of July. People are trying to recover from beer, hamburgers and false love with family and friends. Then Monday, they have to get back to WORK.

...because they are afraid of death.... If I don't go to work, I will die.

We die, because we can't get any chance to serve Krsna.

Follow four principles and chant and dance for Krsna!   He likes it!  Dance in a interesting way. Walk in an interesting way. Sit in an interesting way.

Browse the internet for innocent people.

Sit in a dynamic posture.  As long as you can breath, you can chant, dance.

If something is going to die if you center on hearing and chanting and dansing and cooking for Krsna, let it die!   The real life will persist. Grow!

Our life must be just like your life --- difficult.

We are all spirit souls carrying a half dead donkey.  The Karmis do it for Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll.    Oofff!!!!!     We do it for Mangala arati, Class, Letters to the Editor, Travel Plans, Guide Others.

It takes work.

Now it is 6.00PM      We are catching up on the Letters, but we also have to catch up on the NIOS Blog posts.   The tickets for South America took about an hour.  We had to juggle the Nashville, Houston, Mexico, Lima, time and then try to get the ticket to Lima....   Interjet was a catastrophe. We had to call and talk with a lady. Then the times were bad for stopping in Mexico and about $800.

So we looked on Expedia.com and got flights with stop in Mexico for $650, but it was just at night. Then we changed one day and the United flight direct was $550!   So, we just visit wonderful Mexico other time.

Post the dates to three calendars.

Post the $$$ to three ledgers.

Now we go walking!

Our eyes are starting to fall apart. We can only do so much work on the screen now.  It is good. Krsna is pushing us to chant and dance more. We will go out now and chant in our Sannyasis suit at Wallmart, the mall. We have seven more rounds to do!

It is hard chanting alone here. We only see people, NGD and Dr. Desai and Vijaya Ji in the evening and then when we walk there is a lot of practical talk about financial and time management.

But if we are in a big temple like Houston then there are so many devotees who want talk and we cannot work alone like we do here.

Also, we are still learning how to stay constantly at the lotus feet of Srila Prabhupada (picking up peanuts).

Devotees need to write books with the expertise of Sir Author Conan Doyle, "Sherlock Holmes", et al. The Sr. Bhag. has to be put in modern language, dramas, novels, for us Shudras.

Class this morning was great. Mangala arati was great. We got up late (2.48AM) because of late program outside last night and then had long walk/talk with Radhika, NGD, Dr. Desai et al.

  And there is nothing more great.

All the plans, motivation, will come from Harinama.

Never think that there is any serice higher than chanting Harinama at the feet of our Acharya at any time.

AgtSP.   Here we are in Alachua, ISKCON New Raman Reti. Our residence, the Guest House, is about 10-minute walk from the Temple. There are six of us here for the Education Conference residing in three rooms.   The Conference is in the Bhaktivedanta Academy. A  few mosquitos but no aligators.

Conference in going well. So far we give it a score of 75% perfect.

Real perfection is constant chanting of Hare Krsna.....!    It is 10.15PM.  We take rest now and get up early for the bath and Japa. About 40-devotees in Mangala-arati

In the conditioned state the Maha-mantra liberates us. In the liberated state it guides us to our proper service to Guru and Gauranga, Radha Krsna.
