We wrote a long DTC, then The Evil One ate it and destroyed our Love Message to you.

We have made it to the difficult to achieve, ISKCON Sao Paolo where there are 30'million people who do not speak Spanish, and great thunder roils in the sky and evil mosquitos threaten one with Dengue.

The GBC College was heaven and hell. We had so much stress trying to fit into the extensive, very, very professional structure.

We continue contemplating and reading Bh. Vedanta.

We had five puffed up chapatis, two bananas, tea, raisins and dates and papaya for breakfast lunch and dinner.

Hare Krsna.

We are in the Lotus Lodge in Chosika. It is about 35KM from Lima. We are here for an ASA retreat for Friday, Saturday, Sunday. It will be a lot of fun and very instructive. We are near the Temple and many of the programs will be there. The Dean of the Jesuit University will be staying in the same room as ourselves and Abhirama Th. Das.

We are using ARTD cell phone as a hot spot, so we have to write quick to not use up much of his data.

We had Mangala arati in his ashrama with about 12-devotees and 9-on line. Then packed and went the temple in Wilson with Yamunesvara das, gave class, did Guru-puja and honered Prasadam. Then to Rupanuga Caitanya Das; home and many mystical discussions. He is about 85% recovered from his thrombosis. We had Kirtan and left a copy of Oscar's  "Art and the Sacred" movie with him.

Hours of pushing through traffic. The dangers of collision, the noise are all very painful.

Then we made it to the Temple and for noon arati, Maha-prasadam with five devotees and two cats Had  a very nice discussion on fund raising for Radha Madana-bihari with Nitya-kinkari Devi Dasi.

We are tired but that always happens after lunch or breakfast. So we do light work. Bh V. Th. said, "After lunch do light work".

We understand that light, spontaneous, work is the best rest. When you have to work according to a preset schedule you have to strain sometimes. So leave time in the day for working according to the emerging energy in your body.

We like talking to you because you are sane.

You understand that big problems cannot be resolved in great detail in just a moment.

So, far this tour has been nothing but intense, full of Sankirtan. We have to learn to not take more responsibility for things than we can. If people become angry because we are not acting according to their expectations we have to understand that often they are not mad at us they are mad at the image they are projecting on to us.

They expect that we will satisfy their desires, that we can, will, do this and this and that. They have an unrealistic view of us. So, we cannot take their anger personally. We can try to inform them of reality.

Now we are getting ready for the big program with the Jesuit University tomorrow, but today there is a Bhakta-vrksha program with expected over full capacity.

So guess we take a short nap to avoid headaches. Got 13 of our 16 rounds done.

Srila Prabhupada is the center of everything for us.

Tom Brown --- We traveled all day, but got our rounds done and haven't dreamed of getting married to Miss Universe.

We are in a nice room in Subal-sakha Das and Mataji's home. We have a good computer and had a perfect lunch. We while waiting in the airport we made a Power Point Show for Wednesday class on our Cell Phone!  It worked pretty well. On the airplane we met a nice man but could not get into a conversatin with him to distribute a book to him.

Yesterday we distributed 15-LoBs at the Sunday Feast.   AGTSP...

We looked at the Yahoo and Blog mail and answered the very, very, very Urgent letter from Rama-lila Devi Dasi and now it is 7 minutes until Gaura-arati so we can't write anymore, but it has been a productive day. A day of practical devotional service.

Hare Krsna.

We sit in the Discovery House next to the Temple building which is next to the ladies and Sikhi-mahiti Das' temple house in Atlanta.

It has been cloudy and depressing all day and the same is expected for the next few days.

Without sunlight there is no bright thought.

Well, we have the sunlight of the Gayatri mantras, Maha-mantra, beautiful altar. Nice devotees but ...  we are just getting to know people here. Have just a little relation with the devotees here, although it is the closests temple to Murfreesboro.

Really the breakfast offering, our one meal a day, is TOO much chile ...   This will be our third night here. Bhima is helping us a lot (under Vedasar's in struction). We got laundry soap, tooth paste, we DROVE to the Brazil Consul [lots of work. See the letter to Devaki], and talk so much to the Temple guests.

Srila Prabhupada made an INTENSE visit here.

Now it is 4.42PM. We get 13-rounds done before Srngara arati, "Govinda", and then that gives  us a challenge to finish three more during the day.

Yester day...   We talked with INDIA, Ministry of Education, for 1/2 hour, then Vedasar Das for 1/2 hour, then went with him to buy him a computer. He gave it to us to use while we are here, Lennox Yoga, $800, on sale.

It is great but the Microsoft stuff does not work.

We will call Pandava and see if we can get something going.
