1.11 PM  -  R(11), G 1/3 . . .  It has been a pretty Krsna conscious day.     Our eyes hurt. They hurt a lot now.  That is because we look at the computer and read to much maybe. Have to look at the sky more.

We mowed the lawn yesterday. It is fun. It takes about one hour. First we have to beat on the lawnmower to get it going. Then it roars and off we go. The motor moves the wheels.

The lawn is wth hills and holes so we have to use a lot of effort to turn, lift etc.   Brother Ass feels very good, tired after words.   We also trimmed the rose bush, dead branches.

We do a lot of work.

Today we are trying to contact everyone. We do that the day after Ekadasi. Tomorrow we will do the Banking, Buy the travel Tickets, do our Shopping and Saturdayy is Nrsmahadeva's Festival. Tomorrow is Jayananda's Festival.

He actually grabbed us once from behind. Put his arms around us to embrace us. We were living in Sacramento and struggling like hell to be Krsna conscious. We would drive the 1-1/2 hours to the Temple in San Francisco some times. So, we had just parked our car in the street in the Mission District and were walking to the Temple when someone grabbed us us from behind.

We were amazed. Our body reacted auto-matically with this Karate stuff. You drop down while shooting your arms forward. That breaks the grip. Then you bring your arms back to strike your assailant with your elbows. Because the embrace was light we reacted lightly and didn't punch bruises into s pure devotee, but we were little embarrassed. Jayananda Das laughed.

Then he said that it was really good to see us. How had we been? Of course that question stimulated feelings of fatigue and stress and he immediately sensed them and said, "Please accept my humble obeisances", like anybody who was suffering to follow Srila Prabhupada was worthy of his respect.

The HELL for arranging the Book Release in India continues.   We finally got a formal refusal (polite) from the President of India.   Shoot for the Rhinocerous.   But Dr. Samaresh is like "niscayena" walking the Earth in a human form, so now, even though there is only one week left we have turned the Big Guns of NIOS ( Ha!  Ha!      Ha!

 Ha!!!)       Towards the Chief Minister.   He has said that it is possible but he has some little bit of other work to do trying to help with the results of the Earth quake in Nepal (that killed 10,000 people).   We are being sarcastic.  We think of our effort as very little, but maybe it is very important.

Draupadi didn't realize what she was born to cause. Probably would have committed suicide if she really saw what her existence meant.

We are keeping our 16-rounds, FMP on the Internet.   Bh.Vai with San Jose.   Lots of work for the Ministry. 

We have been making a lot of progress for the end of July Symposium.
We will post the calendar under a different Blog post here.
We have a lot of pain in our waist.   It is from all this work.  Our eyes and waist a   scranched.    In the middle of all the turmoil: Rasa-lila or Kuruksetra, we just have to hold on to Srila Prabhupada's lotus feet in our heart and pray - HK / HR. Krsna will give us intelligence where to put our little grains of sand.
We have answered all the mail up to three days ago.

We won't be accepting letters from 4th - 27th May except from Candramukhi devi and Kunja-bihari Das. Why them???  Because they are bi-lingual, are on the FMP every day, and God wants to torture them. (Ja! Ja! Ja!)

1.34PM  ....  Dr. Samaresh just called us!!!!  ( Midnight in Kolkata and hellish weather (I told him no more news from Sri Hari Das (in Mathura) and that I was catching up on my mail. He asked if I had had lunch, and I said, no. I asked it he ever slept and he said that it was alright and that if I could call ofter 1/2 hour we could do some more writing work!)

O.K. We post our Calendar thing.
We might answer some URGENT letters while we are traveling and will try to post information.

We died ten minutes ago.   We called India six times, changed tickets three times. Studied SB with out Study Partner, lived on Milk, Fruut and Nutz.
Edited and sent the invitee list for the book release.

Conference with Prana Das, Rama-giridhari Das,

Met Bhadra Das in te Temple at mangala arati.

Now we will have a Pow'r Nap and go to Ksiti Kapoors's Place!!

10,000 psychiatric students will be there.

Hare Krsna....   5.42PM                   H e a d a c h e !               4-9AM in the Temple.     9-10.30 AM Invitee list for Book Release.    10.30AM Call to India to Harsh the Hero and Professor Samaresh.   11-12 AM - Hawaii SB class. Lunch.   Recreational reading.   2.30-5.00PM. Prana and me met with Visvambara on the phone about the end of July Symposium. Lot of good work.

Some of Caitanya and SUbhra et al's ginger candy and milk and alll the lettrs up to three days ago.

Now rest the brains...   6.20 go to Evening Program at Jiva Goswami's house.

We are in Houston. We had three calls to/from India before 7AM today. FMP on line. Gave class to 50-teachers, very intelligent people who came on a tour organized by a sociologist from the University of Houston.

We have a headache. We could not answer too many letters. Some six days behind, but we are doing pretty well wit all the work here with Prana Das (MOE), Hari-lila Das (BhVai), ISKCON Houston.

O.K. Now we run to the Temple. Every evening we are giving classes for Third Canto.

4.22PM. Sky is overcast. Cars in their last few minutes of business work before Friday night begins. Then it is enjoyment in the mode of ignorance: Beer, Chicks and Weiners.

Pool, billards, mundane lusty movies.  .....  Ugh.  We are going to NGD house and have Kirtan with other devotees.

We want to become immortal and have full control over gravity, and be able to share our taste of KC with others in the most intimate sense.

We spend hours every day with Dr. Samaresh try to arrange for this book release in Delhi by the President of India. Krsna seems to want it and we are trying to help.

Sri Hari, Harsh . . . They are helping.
NGD is our President.
Also moving ahead slowy with End of July Conference.

As soon as we hear from Mexico we will buy the tickets for middle of July.

Calendar for West Coast is also lining. Up.

Only 5 more classes and our 4-year BhVai study is finished.

So far today 10-rounds, 2/3-gayatris, offered oranges, almonds, potatoes, spinach, celery, little oats, milk - yogurt, pears.

4.46 PM - Hare Krsna. All the mail answered up to 3 days ago.

We are starting to get news back about chances of getting our NIOS book released by the President of India while we are there - not so good, very short term notice . . . .   but . . . .    if Krsna wants it... O.K.

Having regular meetings with Area Directors for the July, Houston, Education Symposium. At least we can all just sit together and chant Hare Krsna. Krsna will give us inspiration how to advance toward the goal, Krsna prema, through the media of Lord Caitanya's Sankirtan, backed-up by basic principles of Varna Ashrama Dharma.

Which brings us to the principle of Sannyasis who see Kung Fu Panda movies.   Ohhhhh!   There destination becomes very doubtful. They certainly must not yet have lotus feet. Maybe apple feet.

Most modern literature is promoting conjugal relations between two Jivas as one of the principle, if not the principle, goals of life. Along with this is, "serve the people". Prabhupada says that uneducated spiritual masters take the mass of humanity as the object of worship. Ganesa means master of the people.

We had a very intense Bhakti vaibhava, Study Partner, meeting with Srinivasa Das today. We have a conversation every Friday at 7AM. Now it is SB 6.17. One of the most provocative, interesting, chapters so far.

Now we are headed to evening program at NGD home and then to Tandavika's ashrama afterwords. It's about 45-minutes to his home and then tomorrow we will come back to Murfreesboro for a 4-hour kirtan program, and stay here.
