We hope you be fine  and healthy.

             HpS - AGTSP.   Of course we all, you, me, readers, alwayd have this inflamation or that inflamation, but in general our only real problem is that our eyes are naturally getting weaker and our feet are tending to swell up.   We fight!

We are maintaining meetings twice a month  between Peru, Mexico, Argentina and Chile, in order to coordinate your preaching in Latin America.

I have been designated as secretary of these meetings. I'll send a weekly report with the news.

The last meeting was on Saturday  of August 3 and the next meeting will be August 17.

It's really inspiring be part of this service and to see how a good cooperation can do much more to help you in your Sankirtan.

The news:

PERU

1-The sponsorship of the Derrama Magisterial, is achieved.(http://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Derrama_Magisterial) We can use their auditorium and cinema projection room.

2- We are trying to present the preface of Srimad Bhagavatam by Srila Prabhupada with a commentary of Gurudeva and others.

3- On Saturday we will have a working lunch at Sattva to define details of the program in October. Miguel Polo, bhakta Luis Torino, Gaura Lila Prabhu, Prabhu Harinam Prabhu and Tejanatha confirmed their participation.

CHILE

Two programs confirmed:

1-Cine Arte Alameda: Tuesday November 12.

We will show one of your movies (Oscar´s movies) ,  first time in Santiago in a professional theater (professional movie screen). Maybe we can show THE UNIVERSAL FORM movie.

2-Centro Cultural Palacio La Moneda: Thursday November 14th. Conference + live music. 

La Moneda´s palace also want to show a short film!

3-We are Organizing the Ratha Yatra festival. Create departments and services. Prabhu Arjuna and Bhakta Rodrigo want to get sponsorship for the Festival ($ $).

ARGENTINA:

1-On August 4, we had the Godbrothers meeting in the temple of Buenos Aires.

--We are organizing a commission group specifically dedicated to organize cultural and academic events. The commission will hold meetings every two weeks. until now those who expressed their interest in participating are: Ambarisa Maharaja Das | Madhavendra Puri Das | Vrsabhanu Nandini DD | Bharata Das (as a collaborator) | Devarṣi Narada Das.

2- We are working on NIOS Website in Spanish.(could be in english and spanish or only spanish. what do you think) We are preparing the design, files and pictures. The Rati Manjari´s brother will help us with technical support.

           HpS - We have been trying for long time to get a Regional Representative for the Ministry of Educational Development (MED) fixed for Latin America. So far no progress. Representative could co-ordinate this work. There is so much opportunity for educational development in Latin America.

3- Once a month in Sunday Feast, we and other devotees, organize DASANUDASA Feast in Buenos Aires Temple. Many godbrothers and aspirants of you participate in the organization and preparation. We are all very inspired with this service.

We have many projects within the festival. We already completed the first proyect  that was: Buy metal plates, cups and spoons for the temple. The donations was from congregation devotees and festival team.

HpS - Thank you for the work.  Nehabikramo...  BG.   No loss.  Krsna will use all the effort.   Again, we think that maybe we will head to South America in January.  Our main work is to contribute something in writing now.  We have given lectures on the same topics so often that we know what people can understand, so now we should write it down.   You also preach.  By the mercy of Lord Nityananda and the previous Acharya, the disciple can do more than the previous Acharya!!!!

Espero que Usted se encuentre muy bien. Yo estoy un poco cansado, muchos proyectos culturales y mucho trabajo. Y poco dinero! Es raro encontrar un poeta con mucho dinero!

Si Krishna quiere ahora en agosto empezaremos a funcionar con nuestra propia agencia/productora en Comunicaciones. Espero en una próxima carta escribir cosas personales.

Este es un pequeño reporte de nuestro servicio:

Arjuna, Jagat Guru, Ignacio y yo participamos cada vez que podemos de reuniones a nivel Latinoamericano, todo coordinado gracias a Prabhu Abhirama de Perú.

Por misericordia de Krishna, ya tenemos confirmado 2 programas/conferencias de Usted en Santiago: En estos 2 lugares Usted ya estuvo el año pasado y ellos quedaron felices!

1-Cine Arte Alameda: Martes 12 de noviembre.

Acá por primera vez en Santiago podremos mostrar en una sala de cine profesional (pantalla de cine profesional) una de las películas de Usted. Tal vez LA FORMA UNIVERSAL.

2-Centro Cultural Palacio La Moneda: Jueves 14 de noviembre. Una conferencia más música en vivo. Ellos también quieren dar una pequeña película!!

3-Se está trabajando en organización de Festival RATHA YATRA. Ya están creados los departamentos y los servicios. Estoy ayudando a Arjuna a conseguir patrocinios y auspicios ($$) para RATHA YATRA.

                asa -  ooof.  no somos bien de energia.  es mejor dejar al lado todas la programas ahora y ver si podemo viajar mas o no.  ya el resultado es en el canto de los santos nombres y escribir libros.  es casi claro no tenemos mas de 10-anos vivir en esta cuerpo, pero posible, despues de eso volveremos a goloka.....   moo, bosque...  vamanos....

today I'm listening to bhajans sung by Srila Prabhupada.   Amar Jivan, Hari Hari Biphale janama, Anadi Karama phale are gems. from bg 4.34 cannot argue with the spiritual master. I think that's all.  thank you very much Maharaj.  please forgive all my offenses your fallen servant George.

         hps - asa - agtsp.....   paoho.....   maya tatam idam sarvam....  bg 7.? ....  cited 'noi' 3 to show that enthusiasm means to use everything in krsna's service, by the instruction of the spiritual master.       george is a plenary potentate of the regent of spain, maybe, so we soon expect the king of spain to be joinning 'japa-joe' daily.  the reverse is true.  it is george's participation that has done much to keep us all together from 1.30-2.30am daily.

Hello Maharaja, this is David from Argentina. I have two questions jumping around my head and I have faith you can give light on it : It is the same to chant Holy Names using wood Japa than using electronic counter? I´ve found really easier to do grhastra life using an electronic counter , while doing things, waiting on bank, walking to the metro, etc, to chant just pushing a botton on a digital counter on my finger....but deep inside of me I think this is not the same than having a Tulasi Japa on my right hand. Please enlight me with your knowledge Maharaja.

             HpS - AgtSP.   paoho.  Prabhupada says like "Sixteen rounds minimum on beads".  So that is the best.  Seems that, yes, having Tulasi beads increases the potency.   But if we can't do that then chanting on mechanical device is certainly better than not chanting!!

The second one is about luxury. How does luxury appears in mind and heart?. Once on desire its so hard to keep intelligence strenght, but I wonder why luxury appears, what is the mechanism that allows luxury to do the first move. I want to know it, to understand and prevent those episodes .
            HpS - I think the word is lust, no luxury.  Luxury means like "lujo".  High class restaurant or airplane seat.    Lust comes because we want to be attracted by Maya. So,  Krsna draws our attention to our senses.  When the senses are engaged in serving Krsna, seeing Krsna, smelling Krsna...   Then they are transparent channels and no energy builds up on them.   When we start to try to please them, get rasa from serving them rather than Krsna, that is lust.  The pressure builds up unaturally and then we want to release it.
Oh, and just one more...have you been Grhastra right?.
                HpS -  Kind of.  When I was becoming a devotee, but soon, Bhakta Huber and wife got separated and she remarried a nice person after six years and he stayed b'cari.

That is all Maharaja, I do keep my sadhana but this kind of question I believe is keeping me away from spiritual advance.

Por favor acepta nuestras reverencias humildes.  Ya estamos segunda dia en nuestra base en Tennessee.  Llegando Martes a casa de Tandavika Das en Franklin y Viernes, despues de organizar cosas un poco, vamos a nuestra Oficina, Ashrama, de NIOS/ASA en Murfreesboro con Nitai-gaurasundara Das y su hijo Abhiseka. Alla el internet va a funcionar despues de la proxima Miercoles y vamos a ver si es comodo para trabajar. Ya son 100 grados cada dia aqui. De esta manera puede ver que hace tiempo para hacer que cosas funciona, pero aun ya es mejor que viajando.

Honestamente yo y Tandavika Das ambos pensamos ir a Sud America en Octubre va a ser deficil, pero posible. Depende en lo que pasa.  Tenemos que enfocar en entender que quiere Krsna de nosotros escribir.
