Happy day Nityananda Trayodasi!

Some time ago I wanted to write an offering to you and I take this great day to do it.

Yesterday I was in the temple of Wilson until late helping in many things, and observe the devotees as they performed their service and meditated on the different types of surrender and attitude. I was wondering, what would please Nityananda the most?

And I remember the siksastaka, na dhanam na janam na sundarim ..... and aslisya va pada-ratam pinastu mam .... I want nothing more than Krsna, he is my only Lord … and came to my mind images of you and my Gm in how many obstacles have overcome to continue serving Krsna without any complaint and without claiming anything. At the age that most of us have, you were already preaching and taking risks to please Srila Prabhupada while we are still wrapped in our own lives with our mind and body. If we take this as reference and comparison we can see that you are a great devotee willing to give so much service to Krishna., to the point that he forgets himself, this is surrender, really you have understood and performed the BG you are a devotee of Bhagavata and I thank Krishna for the opportunity  to know him and to hear his classes and I hope someday to be able to serve him or be useful.

By the mercy of my spiritual master I have a name, an identity, he put me on the path to Krsna and by the mercy of SSHPS I am learning to walk this path thanks to you I am knowing how to serve Krsna. you help me understand Srila Prabhupada's instructions and strengthen my relationship with him… What would I do if I had not met you? ... surely I would continue speculating (now I speculate less) . From you I am learning many things mainly to love Srila Prabhupada's books and improve my relationships with everyone.

There is no doubt that Krishna's mercy without cause exists to have the fortune to be able to hear and learn from You.

HpS - ASA -- All the bad things we give up, we didn't really like anyway. Who likes smoking, who likes illicit relations? It is not a matter of even giving them up. It is a matter of purifying our attachment. We are attached to eating nice food. That is good if it gives us impetous to nice service.

It is very hard for us to distinguish in a fine way what is stimulating food for the body now, and what is stimulating food for later also.

We are trying to get finer and finer intelligence.

It is like walking on the razor's edge.

Dear Guru Maharaj,

Please accept my most humble obeisance and all glory to Srila Prabhupada and your mission in his service.

I am not at all qualified for the service that you have  said. It is only your mercy that you are trying to positively engage a lost soul like me.

I am abiding to the rules and regulations but my attraction to the Holy Names is wavering.  I find that my mind is more attracted to chanting when it is done in a melodious song. But when it is recited without music, it is harder for me to stay attentive. This makes me wonder if I am attracted to the holy name or just the music. I think my mind is contaminated and is still in need of a lot of purification. As you have taught, the only solution is to take shelter of the holy name and therefore I am going to start chanting again to finish my rounds after sending this letter.

HpS - When you chant with enthusiams, like lifting weights in the gymnasium, after 16-rounds you feel good! Later comes Jnana yoga. Do it everyday and you will develope so much realization of the benefits to health, moral and mental strength, that you can write books about it.

Agtsp All glories to you

In Buenos Aires we are organazing with Rati manjari dd (with collaborators). There are interesting persons to have a dialogue or an interview for art and the sacred, solaris, etc.

In Mar del plata NIkunja Bihari prabhu who propose University programs, an interfaith (interreligious) dialogue and a retreat in govardhan ( devotees village) for the comunity of devotees.

In Cordoba we can organize some programs with  Jungian psychologists, dialogue with interesting persons for solaris or interview.  We have a proposal through Jamuna Tira Vana dd  for a presentations on sankhya and architecture with professors of the university of architecture. And a retreat for devotees. -we are evaluating to rent a monastery for these retreat to invite devotees for all places- or we can do it in Madhavendra puri s house.

We wiil send more details information .

Well, we said a lot in answer to the posts today.
You don't do this in one lifetime, no?   So many people in ISKCON were monks, nuns, in their previous lives. Here we go again.

So, many related clips on the youtube: Judy Collins (Joan Baez), Joan of Arc, Leonard Cohen.  They are mixed with poison, but maybe we can extract the nectar and have new ways to see Krsna!

5.02PM. We ate too much today, maybe, but less too much than before. Try to control the senses more and more and each time we learn from the effort and are better. Sleeping two hours a day with short naps is the standard.

Keepin good association.

HpS - ASA -- We have had the same question in the last three letters. Ha!    Ha!!    Ha!!!!  There must be a lot of doubt.  We are little soldiers in a big army, mostly fighting our little battle directly with you association!

Today we have a great issue to celebrate and I want to share it with you and all:

Today it's been 20 years since Jara Mara took initiation from you (it was January 25, 1998, in Madrid)

So thank you very, very much!!!

What to say. I feel so grateful and so happy for this, for him and also for myself...

Jara Mara is such a wonderful person and devotee, and I am so fortunate to be his wife and to have received such a knowledge and mercy through him.

We are thanking and celebrating with nice Prasadam made with veggies from our beautiful veg garden, a piece is for you, Hare Krsna!
