Hare Krsna Gurudeva,

In 14888 ,HH asked us "What do you think of Ganesha?"

Ganesha- we used to think about him, as he is good of wisdom. He was our original Istha Deva.

Sanskrit break it as-- Gana + Ishha . Lord of the Ganas, or supreme among Ganas.

He has very interesting history.

In Indian Cartoon Industry following is the popularity order Hanuman, Krishna,  Ganesha.

In Maratha Empire kings used to have Ganesh in Background of their throne.

In Indian state of Maharashtra, Ganesh ji is worshipped as owner of the complete land.

In Brahma Samhita, Ganesh ji derives power from feet of Narsingh Dev ji.

Smartest Ganesh ji did very smart thing , he circumabulated around his parents, that is considered to circumbulation of the world.

His carrier is Mouse.

HpS - Rat?? Gana pati! NOD etc indicates that he has Vaikuntha form as well as material form.

BS indicates that he keeps Lord Nrsmhadevas feet on the two lumps on the front fo his head to remove all obstacles.!

All Glories to Srila Prabhupada

As I promise to you in the Class to Cuzco, I want to provide here the original quote from Srila Prabhupada when he said that the original form of the spiritual soul is human-like.

Here it is. Is a section of questions and answers in a class in Melbourne.

"Devotee (1): Would the spirit soul that is within, say, a cow's body, is in a different shape?

Prabhupāda: Yes. It has got also legs. But the shape has taken according to his desire. Every animal has got these four things. Just like bird, it has got two wings, two legs. The animal has got four legs. And the man has got two hands, two legs. So the same parts of the body, they are appearing in a different type. But the four limbs of the body are there. Hm?

Devotee (2): Is the original body of the spirit soul a human form?

Madhudviṣa: The question is that whether the eternal form of the spirit soul is a human form or is it...

Prabhupāda: Yes, human form. God is also human form. "Man is made after the shape of God." I think there is in the Bible. Is it not? So God is also like human form. Here you see Kṛṣṇa, two hands, two legs.

Hari-śauri: How do we understand, then, that there are peacocks and flowers and trees in the spiritual world? Are these not eternal forms?

Prabhupāda: Yes. They are more covered. Just like if you cover your body with blanket, the hands and legs are invisible. But you are not the blanket. So the trees and plants, they are more covered. They are not in full manifestation. The human form is the full manifestation of the soul.

Hari-śauri: They are covered in the spiritual world?

Madhudviṣa: He is asking if they were actually covered in the spiritual world as well.

Prabhupāda: Not in the spiritual world. There that is voluntary. Some devotee wants to serve Kṛṣṇa as flower; they become flower there. If I want that "As a flower I shall lie down at the lotus feet of Kṛṣṇa," he becomes flower, voluntarily. And he can change his..., from flower to human body. That is spiritual life. There is no restriction. If some devotee wants to serve Kṛṣṇa as cow, he serves Kṛṣṇa as cow, as calf, as flower, as plant, as water, as ground, field, or as father, as mother, as friend, as beloved, anything. Ye yathā mām prapadyante tāṁs tathaiva bhajāmy aham (BG 4.11). That is Kṛṣṇa's all-powerfulness, spiritual life."

My comment is that is good that so many devotees took the opportunity to present deep-thought questions to Srila Prabhupada, and he gave clear answers without hesitation. Clearly, his knowledge is not from this world.

I am chanting 16 rounds and following the 4 regulative principles. We are trying to serve Paramananda Gaura Nitai to the best of our abilities.

We are back in Atlanta after 6 weeks in India. It was a good trip, Guru Maharaj.

Me and my parents went to Mayapur for 5 days. We stayed in the Conch building, which was so convenient, especially for my parents.

We started reading Srimad Bhagavatam - just the verse and translation - and we read two or three chapters every day. We are in Canto 3 chapter 31 now. Our plan is to finish reading the entire Bhagavatam, Chaitanya Charitamrta, Prabhupada Lilamrta and Bhagavad Gita within next six months.

HPS/ASA - 🐵 Wow!

Praying for success in this endeavor Guru Maharaj.

Mayapur during Kartik was a wonderful experience. Mangala Arti in Mayapur is my most favorite experience Guru Maharaj. H. H. Jayapatak Maharaj was also there during our visit and he gave SB class on a couple of days.

Damodarashtakam and arti during the evenings were intense. We also got a tour of TOVP and its majestic to behold. Visiting Mayapur after 6 years was so fulfilling Guru Maharaj. It was a spiritual boost.

I will be in Houston for the Vyasa Puja Guru Maharaj. I am eagerly waiting for Jan 13th Guru Maharaj.

The first draft of the verse book is also ready Guru Maharaj. I have sent you the details on Whatsapp. Please let me know how we can proceed on that. It would be wonderful to release it on Vyasa Puja day Guru Maharaj.

HpS - What we saw on WhatsApp was too advanced for us to review, so I think I asked for a Word file. We haven't heard back from you. Did you send it??

I think the print layout and then verse organization would need work to get the idea of what we were hoping for.

It is like just putting the arms where the legs are but what you have done seems 90% fine.

Did you go for any solitary walks in Mayapura??

Remembering Krishna: Beyond Mental Focus

Within the Bhakti tradition, particularly in Iskcon, one of the most cherished instructions is to "always remember Krishna." But what does this truly mean? Many associate it with the dedicated chanting of Haridas Thakur, who devoted over 20 hours a day to this practice. While his dedication inspires awe, is such constant mental focus feasible for everyone?
