I hope your health is well and you are in good spirit.

HpS - We are dying of old age. It started about 71-years ago. We are in good spirits because we hope to have a better body for Sankirtan in Srila Prabhupada's Sankirtan in the future.

Currently I am 2 months following Hari nam initiation requirements. Waking at 3:30am, Mangala Arati, Kirtan, 16 rounds as nice as we can in the morning, SB class (Srila Prabhupada lecture), 4 regs. Finishing up reading YEW. Listening to Amala Bhakta Swami's Krsna book narration and in the 51st chapter. I have read now the SB intro of Lord Caitanya and NOI. Next either Science of Self Realization or LOB . Trying to get in at least 1 hour of reading in each day, goal of 2 hours daily. Trying to please Nitai-Guaranga and Srila Prabhupada (photo attached).

We are currently going to Iskcon Hillsboro (Suburb of Portland) every Sunday. The Temple President there is JaiSacinandan Prabhu and he is very nice. We come an hour early, start Kirtan with the family and encourage other devotees to come. Alicia is doing Sunday School very nicely and kids really enjoy her as a teacher. JaiSacinandan Prabhu is engaging us in helping with events. Right now I am helping find a venue for a youth Kirtan seminar where Bada Hari Prabhu and Amala Harinam Prabhu will be attending in June. Its a simple task but we hope to do it nicely, maybe Krsna will give us more service. Inspired by your book distribution we talked to JaiSacinandan about starting book distribution where we encourage devotees to take a BG and distribute it any way they are inspired to. Then each week we encourage them to get another at the temple and distribute it. The books are already sponsored or the temple will pay for them, so no pressure on the devotees to sale but just try to be inspired to get Srila Prabhupada's books out. Then we can try to find ways to inspire devotees to see more books being distributed if it goes well.

The whole family we are visiting Boise March 27-April 1st. Alicia and I are discussing moving back to Boise or to a community. Something with some more association for her and the kids. Where we are now in Salem we are about a hour and 20 mins from the temple and there is 1 devotee family anywhere close. She thinks it will help her KC and the kids. I believe my position is support our wife and kids in their KC so I am just trying to be encouraging, engage them in KC activites and not stick my foot in my mouth (which I do a lot, a lot lot). Trying to learn to control the tongue. Mostly trying to get out of Krsna's way so he can do his thing and we can make advancement doing our things for him.

Then during your visit there I will likely come for a 4-5 days with just myself if it is alright.

HpS - Sounds great.

I would like if it isnt trouble to attend with you any programs that allow, or anytime that allows. For instance lunch home visits to devotees and such. I wont be a bother,

O. K. I will do my very best not to be a bother, but I would like to be there in your company if possible. I can even sit out side the door or where ever I can be within ear distance I hope. Or whatever way I can be in service please. Your assoiciation is very inspiring for us in desiring to be apart of Srila Prabhupada's mission.

HpS - Very nice! We heard in about 1976 that Srila Prabhupada said for a Sannyasi the title is "Your Holiness", for Brahmacari and Householder "Your Grace" and for a Guru, "Your Divine Grace". Interesting. We are pushed to be Holy.

I'll arrive on the 12th of April, and will have to leave Sunday morning, it's a short trip but at least you're back in the States, and so close. I have to take advantage of Krishna's mercy.

2018 para mi fue un año con muchas complicaciones mentales y decepciones ahora mi matrimonio con Gadadhar gosai es mucho mejor y con mejor comunicación parece este año comienza más positivo y agradezco infinitamente sus palabras ya que sus instrucciones son muy valiosas a pesar de la distancia contar con su conexión es una muy valiosa fortuna para mi vida.

HpS - Gracias, noticias de su Ashrama. Es importante para la desarollla de su vida espiritual. Es como el ambiente en lo cual el arbol del servicio devocional despierta y da frutas para HK/HR. Desculpa demurra responder a esta carta. Como nos decimos en el Kapi Dhvaja, no opportunidad para cartas mientras estamos en gira, por que mucho contacto con personas locales.

AGTSP. Paoho. It is 2.36AM. We just finished answering all the Reports in the Blog! We have a couple more that were sent separately (there is a risk that we may not get them there). It is nice having to formally only take responsibility for five dozen students.

Jaya!

We made it to the Kolkata Temple. We are in Room 301 again. It has a mosquito net on one window. The A. C. only makes a strange "Gaaaa Gaaaa Gaaa" sound when we turn it on and produces no cold air. It is starting to get hot here but not too bad with the fan on.

Such a hard day yesterday.

Monkey - Yes... but they can be hard for Krsna or hard for The Evil One.

Plane was delayed by 45-minutes. A child kicked our seat in the back for the entire flight, 1-hour. We are going blind. In anxiety to pack everything, get print-out of Boarding Pass. Left Rupees 70,000 with Sarad-gaurangi DD, Hari-das Swami, Vana-mali Das et al for printing. Seems the University of Bhagavata Culture is still alive That was B. S. Damodara Swami's ambition. We gave the first class. If we just stay alive in KC then these projects stay alive and EVENTUALLY they will succeed!

Got three rounds chanted. Fought with the internet yesterday. Went to gift shop looking for Deity for Dr. Desai, temple room and joined the Bhajan and Arati. About 65-devotees there. One devotee, Prema Das (?) leads every evening. We had a distant vision of Gaura lila for a moment in the Bhajan.

From our point of view. Which is contaminated. The Kirtans do not have enough internal development. If you chant properly you can make your internal body loosen up, just like stretching your muscles after sitting in one position for a long time. Aaaaaa!

Kirtan is a great form of education. Chant, lead, LISTEN. Communicate your Bhava, attitude, perspective.

A Brahma stamba paryantam, sarva maya, mayam jagat, satyam, satyam, punah satyam, hari nama eva kevalam!

From Lord Brahma down ..... to the most insignifican blade of grass, everything in this world is a product of the illusory energy of Maya. The Holy Names, are alone truth. They again and again are truth.

Best education is to become attached to chanting the Maha-mantras.

Piggy - But we will be unable to do so many other duties!

Monkey - Then maybe so many of your 'duties' are useless, non-essential! Once you are connected to the Holy Names, then you get a proper connection with this movie!

Chant more! Wake up faster! Distribute more books!

Is today the day we become Uttama-adhikaris, forever?

How much of your identity is based upon PLANS? I will do this, I will do that. How much of your definition of your family, business, church, community, is based upon PLANS? We shall do this. We shall do that, but do all of those plans come from the mind and we just identify with them? Oh, yes, what ever you say, Sir (My Mind).

Chant and let Krsna make plans. Chant and watch the plans evolve through the intelligence and then form in the mind and then express in the senses. Hare Krsna!
