All glories to auspicious appearance day of yours!

I offer my respectful obeisances unto His Holiness Hannumat Presaka Swami who is very dear to Lord Krsna having taken shelter at His lotus feet.

mukam karoti vacalam pangum langhayate girim

yat-krpa tam aham vande sri gurum dina-taranam

"I offer my respectful obeisances unto my spiritual master, the deliverer of all fallen souls, whose mercy turns the dumb into eloquent speakers and enables the lame to cross mountains."

Dear Guru Deva: Please accept my most humble obeisances. I want to express my gratitude to you today for your very determined and steady effort to preach Srila Prabhupada's mission.

Thankyou for training to us in sound Vaisnava principles inline with Srila Prabhupada's instructions and also in painstakingly helping us on all levels of our life.

Thankyou for having a longterm vision for the implementation of Krsna Consciousness in the modern world and not being blind to the inevitable collapse of society as we know it.

Thankyou for taking up Srila Prabhupada's mission so sincerely and pushing all preaching activities, teaching us to make this the basis of our lives.

In Srimad Bhagavatam (8.7.44) it is said that great personalities almost always accept voluntary suffering because of the suffering of people in general. This is considered the highest method of worshiping the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is present in every one's heart.

Purport: Here is an explanation of how those engaged in activities for the welfare of others are very quickly recognized by the Supreme Personality of Godhead. The Lord says in Bhagavad-gita ( 18.68-69 ) ya idam paramam guhyam mad-bhaktesv abhidhasyati, na ca tasman manusyesu kascin me priya-krttamah, "One who preaches the message of Bhagavad-gita to My devotees is most dear to Me..."

There are different kinds of welfare activities in this material world, but the supreme welfare activity is the spreading of Krishna consciousness. ...if one tries to spread Krishna consciousness all over the world, he should be understood to be performing the best welfare activity. The Lord is automatically very pleased with him. If the Lord is pleased with him, what is left for him to achieve?

You are an ocean of auspicious qualities, receiving benediction from the ocean of mercy of Srila Prabhupada.

I pray to please you one day. Please give me the intelligence and determination to serve you properly.

krishna se tomara,

krishna dite paro,

tomara sakati ache

ami to' kangala,

'krishna' 'krishna' boli',

Krsna is yours, and you can give Him to me, for such is your power. This wretch is simply running behind you, crying out, "Krsna! Krsna!"

Once again I have the great fortune of being able to try to glorify you on the auspicious day of your Vyasa Puja. It is an honor that a soul as insignificant as I, can have such a close association with a person like you, who is famous on almost the entire planet. I do not know for sure, but I believe that except in Africa you are known and appreciated in all the continents of this planet.

HpS - It is a surprise to us. Putin is famous like that or maybe infamous? Maybe the Pope is famous like that. We are a little bit know here and there by the undeviating mercy of Srila Prabhupada to make a devotee out of mud.

Bhakti Siddhanta Sarasvati said that in each incarnation one has a father and a mother but not in all of them one is fortunate to find a spiritual master. You Gurudeva are my good fortune, a faithful representative of our Founder Acharya, AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. You make the teachings and the relationship with Srila Prabhupada more intimate and direct. You make one able to decipher the mysteries and the power of the message our Acharya brought to us.

As Srila Prabhupada explains in his purport to Bhagavad Gita 18.75, the mystery of the disciplic succession is that although the relationship with Krishna is indirect, the experience is direct. My relationship with you makes me feel that kind of love, the one that can only come from Krishna. That state of consciousness that is definitely spiritual, that generates such a deep satisfaction in the heart. That love, that even though one commits so many faults, you seem not to see them or not to take them into account, but always reciprocating with a loving attitude. Pushing one to improve in his spiritual practice. To one day being able to achieve the precious goal.

I wish Gurudev that your glorious sankirtan, which I call 'Krishna Sarva Loka', for Its excellence, intelligence and the ability to reach all kinds of different audiences, keep expanding. Wherever you go, Gurudev people adore you, people can not forget you, because you are a legitimate and faithful follower of Srila Prabhupada. You follow the teachings of Srila Prabhupada as they are. So then you are empowered, it is evident. With your power you elevate the consciousness of the people and make them want to continue advancing in this process. Thus pushing the mission of Srila Prabhupada within his institution.

Despite the defects that may exist, life within ISKCON is pure nectar. There I have my friends and shelter. You are my light house Gurudeva. You bring me Srila prabhupada, Bhakti Siddhanta Sarasvati, Goura Kishora das Babaji, Bhaktivinoda Thakur, the Six Goswamis. You are a faithful representative of the Guru Parampara.

Always prostrate at your lotus feet,

Struggling to never leave your refuge,

Es un honor que un alma tan insignificante como yo, pueda tener una asociación tan cercana con una persona como usted, que es famosa en casi todo el planeta, no lo sé con seguridad, pero creo que excepto en África usted es conocido y apreciado en todos los continentes de este planeta.

Bhakti Siddhanta Sarasvati dijo qué en cada encarnación uno tiene un padre y una madre pero no en todas, uno tiene la fortuna de encontrar un maestro espiritual. Usted Gurudeva es mi buena fortuna, un fiel representante de nuestro Fundador Acharya, AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. Usted hace que las enseñanzas y la relación con Srila Prabhupada sea más íntima y directa. Deseo Gurudev que su glorioso sankirtan, al que yo llamo 'Krishna Sarva Loka', por su excelencia, por su inteligencia y por el estilo que usted tiene y la capacidad de llegar a todo tipo de público diferente, siga expandiendose. Donde usted va Gurudev la gente lo adora, la gente no se puede olvidar de usted, porque usted es un legítimo y fiel seguidor de Srila Prabhupada. Usted sigue las enseñanzas de Srila Prabhupada tal como son . Asi entonces usted está apoderado, es evidente. Con su potencia usted eleva la conciencia de las personas y hace que quieran seguir avanzando en este proceso y seguir empujando la misión de Srila Prabhupada dentro de su institución.

A pesar de los defectos que puedan existir, la vida dentro de ISKCON es puro néctar. Allí tengo a mis amigos y allí tengo mi refugio. Usted es mi faro Gurudeva. This year has been very intense in my spiritual life and very special because I had the opportunity to personally serve you . It was also very good because my health was a little settled and I managed to offer more service, better sadhana, better rounds and much more reading than in other years.

My base is here in Sri Govardhana MdP and we are doing full time book distribution in the city of Mdp also organizing and promoting the congregational programs based on the Maha Sankirtan where the whole congregation distributes books, cookies and Maha Mantra. "Every day I feel more nectar in doing it and when I do it I feel like I want to do it forever."

I was also traveling through Argentina a bit in Sankirtan traveler, in February of this year I go to Mendoza to do some service by attending with Prabhu Aravinda and Baladeva das in the coordination of sankirtan of the Bhaktas and of facilitator for the Study of Sri Isopanisads, etc.

We are also going to travel in March and April through Chile, I am going to take a few weeks of rest and I plan to organize something with the temple of Santiago for a month or two, for there some courses or training of bhaktas, we are seeing that Krishna wants, humbly accepted Any suggestions you have.

Ufffff every day I'm feeling a little older and that death is approaching and I do not want to waste a single moment to serve in SP mission, also every day a little more detached from the gross enjoyment, family, friends, etc.

Please give me your blessings to become a devotee, control my senses and be able to surrender completely to the Sankirtan movement of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu.

HpS - Thank you for your service. Thanks to Sri Krsna and Srila Prabhupada for helping us, using us!!! Thank you for your association in Chile! I think that as you do service you will have very great knowledge about how to improve it. I hope that we can send some information from our learning, Sankirtan, to help you in your service. Let us stay in touch in this Blog and meet later in the year in South America or maybe some other place.

Another new year I have the wonderful opportunity to try to glorify his heroic activities.

You are the perfect example of the Love that Krishna gives us. With your instructions, actions, words, patience, kindness, looks, smiles, intelligence, austerity, humility, gratitude and above all His Mercy You personify that Love.

The Lord wants us back at home, so he sends his eternal associates intimate to show us the way and the right way to act, to be worthy of his company and it is You who came to rescue us from this Ocean of suffering to take us home sacrificing your welfare at every moment, without rest, accepting all kinds of annoyances and austerities to follow the instruction of Srila Prabhupada whose Lotus Feet he carries in His Heart. There are not many such wonderful people in this world that would be of us without you, I do not even want to imagine.

Dear Gurudeva, my eternal gratitude and attempt to serve His feet, I owe everything to him, for not serving him as he deserves, I sincerely ask him to please allow me to continue trying.

HpS - We do not think that we are an eternal servant of Krsna being sent to save people, rather that we are a rebelious soul who is becoming corrected and doing a little for Srila Prabhupada's moevement. There are many others, like your self. We do indulge in eating, sleeping and recreation to questionable degrees. Maybe they are justified?? But let us always work to minimize these, no? See you soon!

Querido gurudeva en esta ocasión de celebración de su vyasa puja aprovecho una vez mas a agradecerle por tanta misericordia sin causa y ser siempre un fiel servidor de Srila Prabhupada y un medio transparente ayudándome a mi y a tantas mas personas a poder tener una visión de la realidad verdadera, inspirando y llevando adelante a que los devotos puedan tener una vida de consciencia y amor, con simpleza, amabilidad, gentileza, y por sobre todo con palabras sustanciosas y nutritivas que vienen de su realización y ejemplo practico aplicando en su vida las enseñanzas de Srila Prabhupada.

Todo esto se refleja en su carácter, siempre feliz, sin miedo, ocupando cada momento en compartir mas y mas el mensaje de Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu.

Still in the Pune Temple. It is about 20,000 acres and 100,000 people come each evenign for Gara Arati. Sataksi came last night with here new husband. He is a very nice person.

Each day we do 10.30-1.30 and 4.30-6.30 with the Board of Examiners. It is starting right now. We are working on redesigning the Examinations for the 4-degree program. Atul Krsna Das, Gauranga-darshana Das, Laksmni mauni and Prasanta devi dasi's, Adi-purusa Das, one excellent Indian B'cari who s name we forget and others visiting. They are all very erudite, excellent devotees who have taught hundreds of BhS et al programs. Very interesting hearing about all kinds of different students.

It is very very hard mental work. We have to use many techiniques to avoid headaches. Our ideas are appreciated sometimes and rejected others. Same for others, but no one becomes angry or unenthusiastic. Present again or accept the difference.

O.K. Here we go again.

Radha-natha Swami liked our lecture in Eco Village. About 1,000 people for his lecture thing morning. Pune we secnd in th Kristmas marathon.

Sunday we leave a 5AM for Delhi.
