Hay un programa muy lindo en la página de Iskcon Chosica, una buena devota de Perú trasmite desde Vrndavana, lo cual me permite viajar de regreso al menos en el recuerdo, y tener siempre presente ese maravilloso lugar, e inspirada en ello, una vez a la semana repartimos maha prasadham a la policía, a señores de construcción civil, a devotos alejados y esta semana tocó a los minusválidos, no es mucho pero recuerdo que el lema es que cerca al templo siempre se distribuya prasadham.

Estuve reflexionando y deseo pedirle su permiso para seguir enseñando BS, soy como un león solitario, tengo pocos alumnos, así lo prefiero, pero los mejores, tenemos más herramientas manuales, por favor permítame seguir enseñando, quien corrija su examen final puede ser otra persona. Ese es mi pedido. Después del taller de la surabhi azul, donde gente nueva leyó los libros bases, las traducciones del gita y verso resúmenes, va al BS con una visión general de los libros y con las exigencias del BS, esa es mi estrategia.

Please accept our most humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All glories to you. I am looking at the Anvaya that my father did, and I made a few changes to the first verse. If it is possible for you to kindly give us some feedback, that would be very helpful for us to finish revising the rest of the verses.

NOI 1

vāco vegaṁ manasaḥ krodha-vegaṁ

jihvā-vegam udaropastha-vegam

etān vegān yo viṣaheta dhīraḥ

sarvām apīmāṁ pṛthivīṁ sa śiṣyāt

Synonyms

vācaḥ — of speech; vegam — urge; manasaḥ — of the mind; krodha — of anger; vegam — urge; jihvā — of the tongue; vegam — urge; udara-upastha — of the belly and genitals; vegam — urge; etān — these; vegān — urges; yaḥ — whoever; viṣaheta — can tolerate; dhīraḥ — sober; sarvām — all; api — certainly; imām — this; pṛthivīm — world; saḥ — that personality; śiṣyāt — can make disciples.

Translation

A sober person who can tolerate the urge to speak, the mind’s demands, the actions of anger and the urges of the tongue, belly and genitals is qualified to make disciples all over the world.

English Word-Order

saḥ — A

dhīraḥ - sober person

yaḥ - who

viṣaheta - can control

etān — the

vegān — urges 

jihvā - vegam -  of the tongue,

Note: In some places we used English articles in place of Sanskrit pronouns for better readability (I learned that this is an acceptable practice in translation in my Sanskrit classes). We also omitted the translation of “vegam” after each urge, and slightly changed the order of the urges so that the sentence remains simple. Please let us know if a similar emphasis on English readability is acceptable for the rest of the verses Gurudeva. Thank you very much for tolerating us.

Le escribo estas líneas para contarle cómo esta mi vida espiritual y personal, mi querido Gurudeva.

Gracias a su inmensa misericordia y la protección de Krsna sigo conectado con mis 16 rondas y estamos siguiendo los 4 principios regulativos.

Mi esposa Lavanya y yo estamos siguiendo desde marzo de este año el curso Bhakti Sastri con Gandharva Prabhu. Ya estamos en más de la mitad del curso, en el capítulo 13 del Bhagavad Gita. Estamos muy felices ya que este curso tan importante nos ha servido para conectarnos más con Srila Prabhupada y Krsna.

También le cuento que en nuestra empresa Tulasi, además de los alfajores estamos haciendo otras preparaciones como Pye de manzana, Cheescake de fresas, Torta de manjar, y, nuestra Lasagna de zukini, espárragos y alcachofas.

I am writing these lines to tell you about my spiritual and personal life, my dear Gurudeva.

Thanks to His immense mercy and Krsna's protection I am still connected with my 16 rounds and we are following the 4 regulative principles.

ASA - 😐 No need to say anything more. Your complete success in every endeavor is guaranteed.

My wife Lavanya and I have been following the Bhakti Sastri course with Gandharva Prabhu since March of this year. We are already more than halfway through the course, in chapter 13 of the Bhagavad Gita. We are very happy as this very important course has helped us to connect more with Srila Prabhupada and Krsna.

Good books.

I also tell him that in our company Tulasi, in addition to the alfajores, we are making other preparations such as Apple Pye, Strawberry Cheescake, Manjar Cake, and our Lasagna with zukini, asparagus and artichokes.

The last month I've took a course on puppets with an Argentinian teacher and classmates from many countries online.

ASA - Su, su, super! First there was Shreck and now there is Divya-drsti Devi Dasi.

I'm planning to get knowledge constantly on this subject of puppets, getting online courses for instance.

Now I'm doing book distribution 3 times per week, the book "El cazador y el Sabio" in Quechua and Spanish is sold very well because Cusco city is the land of Quechua.

I'm living 50% of the time on the sacred Valley of Cusco and 50% in Cusco city.

I'm opening soon a store with the help of my family in the Sacred Valley to sell Srila Prabhupada books and some prasadam in a small house that my father is facilitating to me.

I'm still fighting with health problems and depressions, althought I think while I continue with the preaching throught art It will be heal because it's my dharma.

HpS - Depression is usually fatigue, no? We want to do so many things, but we have fatigue and then that creates mental self criticism... Maybe you will die of fatigue this year.

Jaya!

What will your next body be? Yet, every liberated soul has more power than all the Indras in all the material worlds combined! Solution. Become liberated. Engage in chanting constantly. If you can breath you can chant, no?

Please, I have a question: How can I develop preaching throught art in a way that It heals my health problems and the constant depressions that I have?

How can I change these samskaras in me and have a new starting of life?

My greatest dream is to preach and can be an inspiration for children, young people and women with the time, when I'll learn well of the puppets I want to teach and leave my offering like that.
