Hace unas semanas en el templo se está distribuyendo prasadam gratuitamente a los vecinos por parte de un grupo de devotos de food for life (alimentos libres). Esto es de lunes a viernes y nosotros como templo lo hacemos los sábados.

Hablé con el coordinador y le comenté de su deseo (Gurudeva) de crear una revista para los vecinos, ya que creo que es una buena oportunidad para empezar a distribuirla mientras se entrega el prasadam. Él me dijo que es muy buena idea.

Y bueno, necesito su guía para esto. No entiendo muy bien cómo usted piensa que debería ser. ¿Puede guiarme?

¿Vamos a hablar de nuestra filosofía?¿O va a ser mas amplio?¿Vamos a hablar de los vecinos o solo de nosotros?, Tengo varias preguntas.

Since a few weeks ago, in the temple, Prasadam was being distributed free to the neighbors by a group of devotees of Food for Life (free foods). This is from Monday to Friday and we as a temple do it on Saturdays.

I spoke with the coordinator and told him about your (Gurudeva's) desire to create a magazine for the neighbors, as I think it is a good opportunity to start distributing it while the Prasadam is being delivered. He told me it's a very good idea.

And well, I need your guidance for this. I don't quite understand how you think it should be. Can you guide me?

Are we going to talk about our philosophy? Or is it going to be broader? Are we going to talk about the neighbors or just about us? I have several questions.

HpS - ASA -- We don't have a lot of resources to describe the project in detail, but what we can suggest is to start with a meditation on who are the neighbors?

Maybe you will get three kinds, then start by saying this is a little bulletin which we think may be of use to our type A, type B and type c friends and neighbors.

Then introduce your selves in terms of each Type.

eg. We are the little chapel, monastery, private residence from which you may hear morning prayers being sung daily at 4.30AM or 7.30AM, or see monks and nuns dressed in religious outfits.

Then a little more history, and how you see the neighbors and ask them if they would like to write for the Journal.

Of course, mention that the articles must come in conformity with https://vedabase.io/es/library/sb/1/17/35/

Announce events to which they are invited.

Ask how you can serve the neighborhood.

Maybe it will be every three months.

Editorials on current issues.

Offer to teach plumbing, accounting, cooking and whatever you or they might like at their level.

The next edition of Molinos de Viento closes this first stage, following its instruction that after the sixth edition the magazine begins to have more weight, more readers, etc.

The theme of this future edition will be education.

We respectfully ask you if you can write an article for the international section. There you can talk about the project "Education and the Sacred".

The guidelines are simple, it must have a maximum of one Legal flat with Arial 12 and single spacing.

We want you to be able to write, if not, no problem, we can do something related to it with one of your NIOS disciples for example.

We also thought it would be super good to link to Solaris in this issue, as it will be about education.

La siguiente edición de Molinos de Viento da cierre a esta primera etapa, siguiendo su instrucción de que luego de la sexta edición la revista comienza a tener más peso, más lectores, etc.

La temática de esta futura edición será la educación.

Queremos pedirle con todo respeto si usted puede hacer un artículo para la sección internacional. Allí usted puede hablar del proyecto “La Educación y lo Sagrado”. 

Los lineamientos son sencillos, debe tener un máximo de una plana Oficio con Arial 12 e interlineado simple. 

Deseamos que pueda escribir, si no, no hay problema, podemos hacer algo relacionado a ello con alguno de sus discípulos de NIOS por ejemplo. 

También hemos pensado que sería super bueno hacer un link con Solaris en esta edición, ya que tratará sobre educación.

After the 6th edition we want to talk with you to understand what the future of this project is going to be.

1. To whom will it be directed? (Only for the ISKCON Chile congregation?).
2. Does it expand to other countries? (The magazine is being read from different parts of the world).
3. Continue under the supervision of the administration of ISKCON Chile? (The administrative board has established that not just anyone can write, they must strictly follow all the principles and sing their rounds, be formally married, etc. It is good in a way, but that has narrowed our possibility of communicating with the devotees or non-devotees, there are many people who can deliver to this magazine, but if they do not comply with the rules, they are out).

Madre Cintamani has done a great job with the design, she is now much more professional. For my part, I am learning how to organize things better and learning how to effectively communicate writing guidelines and deadlines.

Luego de la 6ta edición deseamos conversar con usted para entender cuál va a ser el futuro de este proyecto. 

¿Hacia quién se dirigirá? (¿Sólo para la congregación de ISKCON Chile?)

¿Se expande a otros países? (la revista la están leyendo de diferentes partes del mundo) ¿Seguir bajo la supervisión de la administración de ISKCON Chile? (La junta administrativa ha establecido que no cualquiera puede escribir, deben seguir estrictamente todos los principios y cantar sus rondas, estar formalmente casados, etc. Es bueno en cierto sentidos, pero eso ha hecho más estrecha nuestra posibilidad de comunicarnos con los devotos o no devotos, hay muchas personas que pueden entregar a esta revista, pero si no cumplen con las normas, quedan fuera)

Madre Cintamani ha hecho un gran trabajo con el diseño, ahora está mucho más profesional. Por mi parte estoy aprendiendo a organizar mejor las cosas y aprendiendo sobre cómo comunicar de manera efectiva los lineamientos para escribir y las fechas tope.

HpS - Such a pleasant persons, Pankajanghri and Jananivasa . Sometimes, when we were in Mayapura they would invite us to take breakfast, little Radha Madhava Mahaprasada with them. We took their one week deity service course long time ago.

We love to chant before their picture.

Only pray that our Harinam kirtan is useful in their service wherever Srila Prabhupada wants them to stay!!!

My sister was vaccinated since she belongs to the health sector, they are the first to received the vaccination.

Our very old, and very esteemed friend and leader of the Purnima Puppet Theater (PPT [Like Power PoinT!]), Sriman Lokannatha Das texted us on the telephone. We were together many years is in Berkeley and he just moved.

His body is running Alzheimers or Parkison's disease, so he is learning a lot about transcendence.

Please accept my humble obeisances, all glories to Srila Prabhupada. I am in Indiana now. Maharani's sister lives here. I wanted to bring my puppets and I shipped them here, but the van company hasn't sent  them and gives me a runaround.

Our residential situation in Berkeley was fragmenting.

The temple is closed partly and Harinama is stopped.

There are factional confrontations between the virus believers and non believers.

HpS - What is your paper mail address? Can we send you stuff. You are getting closer to Nashville. Nitai-gaura-sundar Das is very enthusiastic about starting a Senior Devotees Hospice here. Maybe se could pioneer it.

We already have a trailer home time place with space in it.

I may be traveling once a month and then maybe South America Sept- January.
