Myself and Pancha-tattva Das both experience, on certain devices, that VedaBase.io hangs up on anything but the Home Page. Yet, if you disconnect from the wifi and then reconnect, the target page immediately loads. I have tried different browsers, erasing all cookies etc, but still it happens.

Can we give any help to get TLC up in Spanish?

Unfortunately no (at this moment). I still need to make new editor. Problem is my system force more or less same paragraph structure as it is in English, but English version of TLC is 3rd edition which is so so much different from previous editions (same issue as Spanish have Russian, Czech, ...) so it cannot be imported now. TLK, has same issue I think, there for example half chapter is completely different, like if from other book.

It will be my next project to finish new editor as it will be also required for Bhaktivedanta Archives for adding content for upcoming offline Vedabase app (that app is still long time to release, but if it will go good it may be ready around Janmastami).

HpS/ASA - You association for many years is also very great impetus to us! Thank you and all your associates.

Reading and meditating on the response you gave me to my previous letter (https://monkeywarrior.com/detail/12924/), and where you tell me that maybe we could try to start working online, bearing in mind that you are currently focused on the work for the book Tava Pache Pache, and considering that the main project at this moment is the film and the best is to direct all efforts towards this project, so I believe that the best I can do to try to help is to make myself completely available to you and to your disciples/team for the book project and/or for the film as you deem appropriate as long as you deem it necessary, and if you determine that my help could be useful.

I can write texts of all kinds and formats in Spanish, I can review and correct texts, syntax, grammar, spelling, etc. (style correction), I can translate documents from English to Spanish and I can leave them at a very good level, I can generate content, I can do interviews, executive production and all kinds of procedures and managements such as generation of strategic alliances, etc., or whatever you want. I am seeing that it is difficult to travel, especially because prices have skyrocketed, tickets that before the pandemic were at USD $ 200 and less, are now at USD $ 1,000- 1,500 even more, Santiago-Lima / Lima-Santiago; and the situation in Chile is difficult and everything is becoming more and more expensive and all prices rise rapidly in general for most goods and services and food. In relation to my personal life during this year, in summary I can say that I have had a lot of internal and external movement during this 2021, understanding that I have to learn to accept the things and the situations and stop trying to control and intervene, like the principle of not-do in the tao: wu wei.

Family problems of different types and also work and business affairs, judicial procedures, but already learning to resist, to be tolerant, to wait and try to discover how to solve and above all improve my way of looking and reacting, trying to apply the aphorism that you taught me: “there are 2 kinds of problems, those that solve themselves and those that have no solution”; and the truth is today I believe that this is how it works here in the material world. And realizing that it is very difficult and always a risk to associate with anyone in any matter.

My daughter turned 18 years old recently (Nov 26), she graduated from school a few days ago. Since a few months ago she has been studying vegan cooking and pastry at the first vegan school in Chile (InCubaVeg); she has been studying English for 4-5 years and has a Cambridge validation because an international exam, and she has been studying German language for almost 6 months because she wants to go to perfect herself in her vegan gastronomy studies at a school in Berlin or elsewhere in Germany, because that country is one of the strongest in vegan culture and organic food; and also she wants to study Enterprise Administration here in Chile. I learn a lot from her being her father and I just want to accompany her and be able to guide and support her in the best way that I can. I am overprotective and I have learned that I really cannot act overprotective, it's not good to do that, but I have to increase my faith in Krishna and trust His will and protection, and try to do my best and act when necessary with clarity and strategy, in the best case.

This year I have chanted fewer rounds than last year, on average 7-8 rounds a day during 2021, anyway every day also I listen to the maha mantra recited by Srila Prabhupada on YouTube with my headphones when I go on the street or in the subway or when I am doing some motor skills activity. I want and must increase my rounds.

I have been practicing celibacy for more than 2 years, in general it has been beneficial for me in many aspects, but I still have the desire and sometimes it can be intense but in general I see that little by little it is diminishing or ceasing to be such an important desire, So it is obvious that I do not have a celibate nature, but I like to stay this way because the truth is that it is quite comfortable to stay away from all the entanglements associated with the couple or sexual ambit.

But, I still smoking cannabis at night, also I'm involved and studying in a medical institution, NGO, focused on medical uses of cannabis, it is very interesting.

Since February and every Tuesday I have been participating in the Bhakti Sastri course and I am a student of your disciple Laksman-agraja Das. It is very stimulating for me to participate, because I feel that it sustains me and keeps me in Krishna consciousness. Around 1 month ago in an evaluation I had to give a class on the Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 16 "The Divine and Demonic Nature", it was the first time that I gave a class and I really liked it and I felt comfortable, it was pleasant for me and I was able to give that class that lasted almost 45 minutes, and I got good feedback from the evaluators. Currently we have just begun the study of "The Nectar of Devotion."

HpS/ASA - Super. One Maha-mantra for each puff on your pipe???

Every day I offer the food that I prepare to Krishna directing my prayers to an image of Gopal in our kitchen (I sent a picture), I use a special container to offer Him the cooked bhoga in the image of Gopal. At least I prepare 1 or 2 foods by day at home that I offer (all the mantras and glorification) and when I eat something away from home, which is often, it is always in a vegetarian or vegan restaurant 99% of times and I also offer it before eating with the Panca Tattva mantra + 3 maha mantra. Many times I buy lunch for your disciple Lalita Madhava Das, who delivers prasadam (today he gave me ekadasi prasadam). I have a daily association with your disciple Arjuna Das, who has a mini store (kiosk) where he sells prasadam, books, and other foods and things, this place is 5 blocks from my mother's house, where I am currently living. He is an inspiration because he is preaching and sharing prasadam every day the whole day to every person, and every dog, every cat, every horse, every bird, every tree... he is with very good energy, strong and refulgent. He said that in fact he is very very tired.

This year I have distributed an average of 3 Srila Prabhupada´s books every week. I deliver prasadam every day and also try to preach about Krishna and Srila Prabhupada every day.

This year I have participated in 90% approx. of the mangal arati and the other Gotomeeting programs and other digital platforms.

In a next letter I will write the other matters that I want to comment on, so as not to make this letter so long that it is already long.

En primer lugar quiero decirle que es una gran alegría saber que vendrá en 2022 y pienso que la fecha prevista para venir a España me parece buena. Aunque Julio es, posiblemente, el mes mas caluroso del año, en NVM ya suele tener noches y mañanas agradables. Además a partir de esa fecha el calor suele ir remitiendo. Por otro lado si se quiere hacer algo en las universidades, que estaría muy bien, pienso que Octubre sería bueno. A finales de septiembre se empiezan a incorporar los alumnos, así que si se quiere hacer algo tendría que ser a principios de octubre.

Leo el blog y el KD regularmente y pienso que el blog es uno de sus servicios mas importantes, ya que se establecen respuestas filosóficas a la mayoría de problemas que solemos tener y mantiene a los discipulos en una sintonía común, además de informados de su sankirtana y del sankirtan de otros devotos. Cuando el seguidor del blog recibe contestación a sus cartas, generalmente, es una inyección de entusiasmo en su vida espiritual y aumenta su sentimiento de "pertenencia" a la familia de ISKCON. Sinceramente pienso que ya hace tiempo que tendría que haber recibido ayuda en este servicio de contestar las cartas.Tal como Prabhupada lo hacía pienso que es lo ideal; el era el devoto más práctico que conocemos. No entiendo porque usted tiene que leer las cartas en el ordenador y contestarlas en la pantalla. El cuerpo y la mente ya no dan para tanto. Usted puede estar sentado en un sillón o una mecedora y un devoto va leyendo las cartas y usted va dictando la contestación. No parece muy complicado.

En cuanto la "Tava pache pache" he leido unas páginas y parece una aportación muy interesante para la comunidad vaisnava. Pienso que antes de imprimir la versión en español hay que mirar muchas veces y evitar todos los errores posibles. O hacer una impresión pequeña que luego pueda ser revisada y perfeccionada mas adelante. Aunque un devoto no le da mucha importancia a los errores, es cierto que cuando vemos un error en un libro la edición pierde algo de credibilidad.

Bearing in mind that he is overworked I will try to be concise.

HpS - AGTSP! paoho. We try to fix priorities and not be overworked. 🙂

First of all I want to tell you that it is a great joy to know that you will come in 2022 and I think that the scheduled date to come to Spain seems good to me. Although July is possibly the hottest month of the year, NVM already usually has pleasant nights and mornings. Also from that date the heat tends to subside. On the other hand, if you want to do something in the universities, which would be very good, I think October would be good. At the end of September the students begin to join, so if you want to do something it would have to be at the beginning of October.

HpS - Now it seems the best we can do is 15 July to 1st October. Ten weeks.

I read the blog and the KD regularly and I think that the blog is one of its most important services, since it establishes philosophical answers to most of the problems that we usually have and keeps the disciples in common harmony, in addition to being informed of their sankirtana. and the sankirtan of other devotees. When the blog follower receives a reply to his letters, it is usually an injection of enthusiasm into his spiritual life and increases his feeling of "belonging" to the ISKCON family. I sincerely think that he should have received help in this service of answering the letters a long time ago. As Prabhupada did, I think that is the ideal; He was the most practical devotee we know of. I don't understand why you have to read the letters on the computer and answer them on the screen. The body and the mind no longer give so much. You may be sitting in an armchair or a rocking chair and a devotee is reading the letters and you are dictating the answer. It doesn't seem very complicated.

HpS - Prabhupada didn't start that until he had many disciples, and could have one of them travel with him as a trained secretary. Definitely we will have to be using secretaries if our Sankirtan continues.

As for the "Tava pache pache" I have read a few pages and it seems a very interesting contribution for the Vaisnava community. I think that before printing the Spanish version you have to look many times and avoid all possible errors. Or make a small print that can later be revised and refined later. Although a devotee does not give much importance to errors, it is true that when we see an error in a book the edition loses some credibility.

HpS - Yes! Thank you. The Nobel Laureate in literature, Albert Camus, said that unless you review your work at least six times you are a coward. The English version has passed through these phases and now it is ready to be distributed to critics for their comments. After including their suggestions we will go for mass distribution. With your help we can try to pass the Spanish edition through the same stages.

Please accept my humble obeisanses unto the Padmacharan of Sri Guruji Maharja that I am so pleased to hear Guruji Maharaja’s reply to my previous letter.

As Guruji Maharaja asked : “The basic principle is to take shelter of Lord Chaitanya and Harinam. That is sufficient, no?” Yes, it is the only solution. Guruji gave me Harinam and Gayatri Mantra, it is true, but by chanting Harinam and Gayatri Mantra only will I get Chaitanya’s mercy without Nityananda? Even the 8 sakhis and 8 manjaris never meet Sri Krish without Srimati Radharani and Her permission.

HpS - "Rama" in Maha-mantra is Balarama, no? He is Nityananda! and we always chant Pancha tattva mantra before we chant Hare Krsna mantra so that includes Nityananda and Narottama. Also, we are authorized to chant all the songs of Narottama, Srinivasa, Six Goswamis, Bh. Vinode Thakura, et al, so all the persons mentioned by Partha sarathi Das are also present in our ISKCON Sampradaya. We just access them in a little bit different way.

Are you worshiping Radha Krsna deity? Do you get inspiration from Her (Tulasi) about following Sakhis? Yes, in the form of Chitrabot (Photo) but I had never asked and personally experienced from Them about the following of Sakhis and Manjari, and every day in the morning, first of all, I pray to Tulasi Devi for giving us bhakti of Radh-Krsna. It may be defects from my side in the prayer to Srimati Radhrani and lack of Guru sradha.

HpS - That is really our understanding. When we are getting inspiration above the bodily concept, receiving Manjari names by physical resources, then we are really ready to consider details such as which Sakhi and Manjari we are serving. Again, there is no reason why any devotee from any part of the world, even Manipur, may not realize that his real Svarupa is in Rama-lila, no?

When you have tangible experience of presence of Tulasi devi by mercy of Guru and Krsna, then you can understand Manjari Bhava, no?

If we cannot see our Deities as people, how can we relate to Manjaris without physical presence?

In BG 10.10 Purport's last sentence, If a devotee is not intelligent enough to make progress on the path of self-realization but is sincere and devoted to the activities of devotional service, the Lord gives him a chance to make progress and ultimately attain to Him. The only solution is God’s mercy. I am waiting eagerly.

HpS - Exactly, Krsna enlightens us within the heart. This begins when we reach the level of Gayatri Diksa, and becomes more and more tangible as we become purified. Then we will feel strong presence of Srila Prabhupada from his deity picture at different moments, on even specific issues, what to speak of how to make general purification.

I hope this helps with some perspective. If you just continue improving 16-rounds and four principles then EVERYTHING ELSE ABOUT HOW TO MAKE FURTHER PROGRESS WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY REVEALED. Of course, you will be inspired by those messages to confirm them with Guru and Sastra: BBT CC and SB etceter. See you in 10-months in Manipura!

We can follow Sakhis by becoming like Krsna’s flute, Krsna’s cows, sakhas. They are all part of the same lila. Our idea of personal sakhi and manjari is thousands, thousands of times lower than the associates of Krsna (dasera-dasera-dasera anudasa to follow the footsteps not directly imitation).

What do your deities say? Guruji, I have no capacity of asking such questions in my present level. I am doing seva and praying.

HpS - Yes. That is exactly the point. We do not try to take formal Manjari situations until we are getting real inspiration from our Arca murtis. It exists. You should be getting at least a little now.

. . . Now have to run to other programs, devotees. This has been very good discussion for me. Let us continue with other topics in the next letters. Read the Kapi Dhvaja and make comments about it.

If there is a different approach of Shikshya Guru and Diksha Guru, what will be the role of the disciple? Yes, spiritual life is different from material life, and the name is self and the same quality of God itself in both lives. From the stories, if any devata wants to meet Laxmi – Narayan in Baikuntha first of all everybody took the permission of Jay & Bijaya, the doorkeepers for information, likewise, if we want to approach Caitanya, whom should we meet first? It is the question.

On the other hand, the standard of our Guruji Maharaja is too high in comparison with other Gurus, then how we simple men can understand the ideas Guruji feels and experienced?

In the SB 2.9.9 : Purport 2^nd Para ….. if one is able to received the transcendental sound from the bona fide spiritual master, his path of liberation is guaranteed. The disciple however must be ready to execute the order of the bona fide spiritual master as Lord Brahma executed the instructions of his spiritual master, the Lord Himself. How it could be possible for us?

To follow the instructions of the Spiritual Master is to serve the Spiritual Master and the Bhagavan itself. That is why I am seeking Guruji’s permission (anumani / asisrvad).

I suggest that Radhika raman, Caitanya Caritamrta and Panca Tattva may do the artiks. (we as guests [hosts?] give the pass to others).

HpS - Seems we are talking about the big event, not the smaller, particular ones. For that I think ArtD is trying to arrange use of the Peruvian Accountants Association center, one block from Chosica Temple. If that works then we can have about 100-people by pre-registration. Of course, disciples of Prabhupada, Yatra leaders et al are invited. So maybe one of them would do the Arati to Srila Prabhupada?

HpS - Seven is nice, but also comments from Karuna, Caitanya, National council, other centers??? Hari Krpa.

They should make devotees understand their position and work in the actual Sankirtan movement by illumination of Bh. Vinode Th. et al. May not be perfect, but that is our aim: Glorify the Parampara, the actual Acharya, Srila Prabhupada and the Prabhus under his feet. Will there be participation from Kids? We can have a virtual program for three nights before. We can broadcast some Kirtan with devotees from Radha Madana-bihari program.

Try to keep the big program simple. Try to organize several other programs for specific groups during the previous days.

Let Radharani, Tulasi devi, take charge, enter your brain. 😎

AgtSP!!!  ...paoho... Thank you very much for sending us this letter and attached letter. I graduated 1st place in psychology with minor studies in biology and electrical engineering from the university of california. So, I have a pretty respectable education in the scientific basis of the Srila Prabhupada poisoning conspiracy (p-con) discussion. Then with Nitai-gaurasundara Das, Dr. Ravi P. Sing, Head of Geriatric Psychiatry at one of biggest mental hospitals in Tennessee, we discussed the p-con from time to time. We came to the same general conclusions as your book, and then when it was released we appreciated them as very definitive.

In terms of the GBC response, as you have presented the history, I would agree that the GBC should issue an institutional statement.

Besides the options mentioned by you below, another would be that: They accept your books as excellent discussions on the topics, that anyone interested in the themes, should read, and that they are written a certain particular humor which the GBC does not find offensive, but of course represents a particular flavor of the author and many people who might feel it is the best way to discuss such topics.

[Maybe] The GBC feels certain topics in Mayesvara Das' books need to be considered more carefully, and certainly does not wish to curtail any well meant discussion on these topicsb,

But for its own considerations, now feels that the current evidence does not support a p-con that has or could significantly influence our institution's efforts to expand Srila Prabhupada's movement.

Of course, this is my opinion. The GBC is an administrative, political, body to my understanding. The Ultimate, so, they may have pragmatic reasons for not making a public statement. "In any public discussion a politician should never clearly declare his own position". A general should never make public the full position of his army.

Yet, my pragmatic advice would be that, yes, they should make a public statement and include your work as very central. A general should disclose his position well enough so his allies and subordinates can understand how to relate to him.
