APOLOGIES FOR THE LATE TRANSLATION

my mother was finally operated on, but the recovery is taking time. Also, she is a bit sad because she can't do many things.

My sister and I are doing everything she used to do.

My sister has to take her daughter (1.5 years old) to school and drop her off at the kindergarten on the days she comes to work.

My health is ok. I will have my surgery this Friday. Then I have to start adjusting to this new change. I will have surgery on my right arm, so for a while I will be doing everything with my left hand. I will probably start the new treatment in September.

My mother is sleeping in the living room. So we take advantage of that time in the morning to pray and attend to the deities in the company of the whole family.

Thank you so much.

EDT (Patrak das & Antuanette)

HpS - Sounds, agtSP, like the fifth da of the Battle of Kuruksetra, but the Pandavas and Krsna won!

Guess next KDh will be around 20th June.

Our respects to your mother.

She has an eternal body. Maybe with wins. Lord Jesus and Lord Caitanya agree on this.

Of course, that is an indestructible body with eternal family and friends.

Relations in this world can be taken to the Spiritual World.

So, remembering how to use her spiritual body is important. Thank you all!!

Special Mercy

Hare Krishna, Siksha Gurudeva,

HpS/ASA - Maybe very, very, small moon beam from a higher reality. AgtSP! 😃

...please kindly accept my most humble obeisances; all glories to his divine grace, Srila Prabhupada; all glories to you, his sincere and dedicated disciple.

HpS/ASA - 75%, by His Divine Grace. .0001% by our own sincerity.

I hope that all is going well with you in your life, particularly in your selfless service to Srila Prabhupada.

HpS//ASA - Think it is just about the same as yours!

As for myself, I am still being humbled because of my stubborn and rebellious mind. During japa time my mind is splayed out like a flood light, instead of focusing like lazer or a spot light. I get so frustrated and upset because I find I haven't made any advancement with regards to controlling my mind.

Japa meditation isn't just a routine performance that we can go through just for the sake of saying "my rounds are finally done."

It scares me to acknowledge my failure.

Nearly my whole adult life has been dedicated to the chanting of the holy names, along with studying and distributing the transcendental knowledge Srila Prabhupada taught us.

Still, my mind can only focus on material sense gratification.

I woke up from a dream last night, in which I strangely found myself re-enlisting in the armed forces (I am a veteran, having served during the Vietnam War).

In the dream I was completely disturbed that I had agreed to serve in the military again. It was then that I woke up, thinking that I don't really want to serve Krishna, because I am too attached to serving Maya.

ASA - Photo attached.

I wish with all my heart that I could sincerely cry out to Krishna during japa.

Fulfillment of such a desire is not possible without the causeless mercy of Krishna and the spiritual master.

This is what we chant every single morning: the prayers glorifying the spiritual master and Krishna.

It is absolutely essential that we receive the mercy of Krishna and the spiritual master. And therein lies my problem: failure to surrender.

I felt compelled to share these thoughts, as my rebellious mind pressed heavily on me during my japa this morning.

Your Lowly servant,

Balabhadra Dasa

HpS/ASA - What percentage of devotees in our graduating class of ISKCON even chant their rounds. They don't have 16-bad rounds. They have no rounds!

They have happiness and frustration with little things: Wife, Family, Car, Job, Politics, Toys...

Of after all these years we are still concerned with evaluation of our ritual exercises in terms of the GIANT, Krsna, then that is very, very, very rare in human society.

Welcome to a very small club?

What are you attached to?

Das of Hayagriva Avatar.. Das of Time

Hare Krsna Gurudeva, agtSP, PAmho.

HpS/ASA -

In the previous leeter [letter] you wrote --"so nice, agtSP, to get your association. your mercy has always been big, big, thing for us. we have big debt to you, that we try to repay."

we were asked by Parth Pratim Prabhu above as

so nice, agtSP, to get HpS's association. HpS mercy has always been big, big, thing for harsh pradhan. harsh pradhan have big debt to HpS, that we try to repay.

ASA🐵 - How many days did you sleep in the library, on the floor, in the Kolkatta Temple to get the Symposium with the Indian Museum and NIOS to happen! Etc!!!

Wonderful .. regarding VishnuSashtra nama, it takes 30 minutes if chanted without error and meter.

Frankly speaking this worked for us, because it is complex, one has to be alert with calligraphy of alphabets while reading.

Our pronunciation of words can be wrong so one has to speak clearly.

Moreover one has to hear the reciter and then speak.

So eyes, ears, speech all our [are] involved....one becomes humble seeing his own mistakes.

it is intense. and after effect of this is that in our mind, the meter and wording re-verberate.

we have still not gone in to meanings.

HpS/ASA - 🐵 🐷 👳... 🔬 WONDERFUL!!! It will take you up. You can help Madhu-mangala in his pujas for Krsna and Radhika...

Hare Krsna Mantra seems quite elevated where the meaning could be anything while chanting. we doze off many times because because it is repetitative, and there is no fixed meaning to contemplate even when we are not chanting from mouth.

HpS/ASA - There are also Prayers by Personified Vedas in SB..??!...

things are better. waiting for Krsna/ Parampara {K/P} [our acronym] to respond through you.

purpose of life as of now- to chant HK/HR properly with meaning, and inspire others.

trying to Das of Hayagriva-Avatar

in Bangalore, Hayagriva-Laxmi temple is known as Exam God Temple, because Hayagriva has perfect memory and recitation.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTfaeH_pTCU&t=27s {exam god}{its in Kannada regional language}

ASA - We also scanned the Wikipedia! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hayagriva

The 1728 Maha-mantras are a deal between Srila Prabhupada us and God. Every trick, austerity, for initiated devotee to chant them as best as possible is highest austerity.

Break them into sections of four for different parts of the day.

Sing them for diety of Mahaprabhu.

Etc.

As usual, this is a private challenge for all of us, and then it is a private reward to see how we have helped Radha offer something nice to Krsna [Who is very nice] that only we could do.

Sahasra nama seems very nice.

Gracias Maharaj

HpS/ASA - Sri Krsna lifted Govardhana like a little Rock to protect the Vrajabasis from the wrath of angry Indra, king of the gods!
You live in Santiago?
How has your life led you to meeting Krsna and Guru? Lord Caitanya, Srila Prabhupada, ISKCON?

Rukmini dd's News - Part 3

Hare Krishna, Gurudeva

Please accept my humble obeisances🙏

All Glories to Srila Prabhupada!

Thank you so much for your prompt response to my last letter.

HpS/AAS - This one, Hare Krsna, has taken a week or so!!

A couple of times I contacted Purnamasi Devi Dasi while I was in New Vrajamandala. She guided me and shared her experiences on Vaishnava educational topics.

Thanks to your advice, I have regained contact with her and I wish to keep it. Without a doubt, her association is very enriching and a great fortune!

ASA-SP to Hansadutta Swami to HpS/ASA --- This movement will attract the most sane and the most crazy people. You have to know which is which and engage with them all properly.

Mataji seems to be in the The Most Sane category.

I have also already contacted Bhadra Rupa Prabhu and he has given me specific and realistic advice on how to deal with the spiritual challenges that will arise during my master's studies and life in Finland. So we have decided to try it out and by the end of the first year evaluate how it went.

Thank you very much again for your effort in reading our letters.

Trying to be your disciple,

Rukmini Devi Dasi

HpS/ASA - Well, guess it can't be any colder than the Andes and if Bhadra Rupa Das, one Peruano, has lived through it guess you can also.

Is your career in life becoming more clear??
