Hare Krishna!

Dear Maharaj, I hope all is well with you and I am so glad to be in touch with you.

I was curious as to your stance on what books are good to distribute to the general public? For the past month or so I've been preaching straight from NOI. I feel like there are so many good points/solutions that are in Prabhupada's purports that apply to current day issues and my responses have been great! I do a bit of preaching right here in the temple (we have a restaurant and the curious customers usually make a stop at the book table) and they ask me questions, and most of the time I just repeat the points in the purports and verses of NOI. But I've had a couple of devotees lately discourage me from distributing this particular book to the general public, claiming that it is "too heavy" "too advanced" etc... I of course offer up books like JSD and SSR along with the Bhagavad-Gita as it is (usually people ask about that book) but I have some favor for NOI as it has really inspired me in my service. So please, tell me how you feel about this, I would really really like to hear it and know I can benefit from your thoughts on the matter.

ASA - AGTSP paoho.    Here we are in the Choseeka Temple room.  Finally got Internet connection.  So nice to hear from you.    I thought that NOI was advanced, for devotees also, but then I heard one devotee ask Prabhupada about that, "It's for devotees, no?".

P'pada.   "Why???   It starts with ethics and morality?"

So it seems to be for everyone, but they have to take it seriously, one step at a time.      Next Letter??>>>>

hare krishna querido maharaja tlgSP tlgHPS ki jayyyyyy!!!!! mis reverencias !!!!! le comento ya acabamos el segundo modulo del bhakti sastri 10-18 BG Y HEMOS COMENZADO CON el nectar de la devocion que es un libro que inspiro mucho aun hermano espiritual suyo vishnujana swami y por quien tengo mucha admiracion y aprecio a pesar que no logre conocer !!!!  me siento muy afortunado por el hexo de poder estar estudiando y  por la gran asociacion que tengo en estos momentos y en especial por la suya me encuentro muy motivado y de a pocos my lord krishna me va dando la inteligencia para poder ir encontrando mi varna y ashram, lo unico que se es que hay que desarrollar amor x krishna independientemente de la posicion psicofisica en la que uno se encuentre y  complacer al maestro espiritual estoy con ansias de poder llevar acabo sus instrucciones que se que van a ser la solucion para mi vida mientras, yo seguire esforzandome dias tras dia y asi tratare de aumentar mi apego hacia la suprema personalidad de dios he comprendido lo importante que es el sadhana siguiendo todo el programa que Srila prabhupada Nos  dejo, cada vez voy teniendo mas conciencia de ello, asi en algun momento por su misericordia podre mantener la mente fija en krishna . graciassssss

HpS TlgaSP   pfanrh.   Super bien oir de Vd.  Estuve pensando en que ha pasado con Vd.   Desculpa la demurra de una semana pra responder.   Tenemos que ser poco mas inteligente en organizando nuestra tiempo.   Pero super oir de Vd.    Claro, mas o menos ya estamos en Espana.   Solamente falta unos dias.  Voy a tomar su primero iniciacion?

Maharaj, I am wondering what is the standard for someone like myself who is not yet intiated but following the four reg. principles, chanting 16 rounds, etc in regards to wearing tulsi mala. I purchased a long strand from the temple giftshop and it wrapped 3 times around my admittedly not-thick neck. Am I in offense to be wearing three strands, or should I get a single strand neckbeads until I am initated.

ASA - Jaya.  AgtSP!!!!!        paoho.   We don't know.  Very nice to hear from you.  We are back in Peru.  Lima.    Until tommorrow.   We don't know.   We think that two strands are for uninitiated devotees, but basically you should wear what you have until you get a more authoritative answer!     One more letter!    We are tired.  It is 9.30PM.    Thank you so much for your Sankirtana and association.

I have a piece of news: I am writing a little book with Vrisabhanu’s help, this book show the “Spirit’s health” based on the teachings of Srila Prabhupada. I am studying naturopathy, and I understand that ONLY WE CAN HEAL US WITH KRSNA CONSCIOUSNESS, this is a reason for that I want to do SANKIRTANA with this book.

The BBT’s books are excellent, but none shows the spiritual heal like a solution for the misery and illness. Srila Prabhupada said in the C.C. adi lila chapter 10 text 51 in the purport:

“There are not hospitals for to cure the material illness of the spiritual soul. The Hare Krsna movement had begun the mission to cure that illness”

In spanish:

“No hay hospitales para curar la enfermedad material del alma espiritual. El movimiento para la conciencia de Krsna ha emprendido la misión de curar esa enfermedad”

I hope that you will see it when you visit us. Govinda Nandini Mataji will help me, I need your help too, I need your approval, and I need your blessing for to distribute it.

How do you Sankirtana?????

Our Sankirtana is limited, but we want to preach more and more until to satisfy your lotus feet, the lotus feet of Srila Prabhupada, the lotus feet of Lord Caitanya and all devotees.

The book will cost 0, 70 cents of $u$, all people will buy it… if Krsna will permit it!!!

I think that is a good way to preach, because everyone wants to be healthy in all aspects…

All people needs heal their bodies, their hearts, and their souls with a Krsna Consciousness life.

We are very happy to hear many devotees talking about you… you are the greatest inspiration for us… Krsna always keep you healthy and strong…
