Hare Krsna querido Guru Maharaj, esperando siempre sus sabias palabras, le cuento que ahora estamos en la casa de la mamá de P. Gadai, y estamos bajando a mangal artik al templo de Chosica y haciendo servicio con prabhú Jaganath Swami y P. Padapadma, estoy muy felíz porque he retomado con el estudio del Bhagavadgita estoy en el capítulo 1 texto 14, perdóneme si deje de leer en este tiempo, sé que no hay pretextos para no leer los libros de Srila Prabhupada, P. Gadai está leyendo el Caitanya Caritamrta y aveces escucho ese maravilloso libro. Mi sadhana es 3:30 am, 16 rondas, 4 principios, y un poco de sankirtana.

Guru Maharaj, yo tuve que irme de la casa de las madres porque M. Anadi se fué a Chile y M. Dalia se fué a visitar a sus familiares a Ica, ahora estamos pensando en un plan de sankirtana viajero con M. Namacintani, M. Dalia y Por ahi algun devoto varon, ojalá podamos hacer un grupo de sankirtana viajero para complacer a Srila Prabhupada.

Gurudeva quería preguntarle algo, ¿como podemos aceptar y entender la posición en que nos encontramos?

Aquí  con P. Padapadma y P. Gadai nos hemos organizado para hacer las preparaciones para las deidades para Gaura Purnima. La marathon de Gaura Purnima de libros está reñida entre los devotos, muchos libros se está distribuyendo y yo espero con muchas ansias poder hacer sankirtana nuevamente con más entusiasmo.

Gracias por todo, y orando para que Radharani lo proteja y lo cuide.

HpS - ASA - Podemos entender por Dios, Brahmanas y Escripturas Vedicas. Dios es accesible en Kali yuga por Sus Santos Nombres. Podemos leer y oir extensivamente cada dia de los libros de Prabhupada y podemos mantener associacion con devotos.  Entonces podemos entender, como Yuddhisthira Maharaja, si es correcta luchar en Kuruksetra o no.

Hare Krsna Guru Maharaj, por favor reciba misx humildes reverencias desde aqui Chosica, Lima - Perú. En lo personal espero que su salud esté bien, nosotros seguimos haciendo servicio en el templo, en asosiaciòn con Prabhu Laksmana, Prabhu Jaganath Swami, Prabhu Tattva y muchas otras grandes almas que siempre estan entregadas al servicio del Pujari.

En estos dias recordaba un verso del Bhagavad - Gita "captitulo 2 texto 52" en el que Krsna le dice a Arjuna:

"Yada te moha-kalilam

buddhir  vyatitarisyati

tada gantasi nirvedan

srotavyasya srutasya ca"

"Cuando tu inteligencia haya salido del espeso bosque de la ilusión, te volverás indiferente a todo lo que se ha oído y a todo lo que habrá de oírse"

En este verso pensaba mucho, y  meditaba en el Sankirtan, pues en el significado que da Srila Prabhupada dice lo siguiente "

"Si uno ha llegado al plano del entendimiento en virtud del servicio al Supremo Señor Krsna, deja de tener que ejecutar los diferentes tipos de penitencias y sacrificios que se recomiendan en las Escrituras reveladas.  Y en cambio, si uno ha entendido que la finalidad de los vedas es la de llegar a Krsna y simplemente se dedica a los rituales etc, entonces está desperdiciando su tiempo inútilmente en esas ocupaciones. Las personas con conciencia de Krsna trascienden el límite del Sabda-brahma, o el ámbito de los Vedas y los Upanisads".

En lo personal entendiendo estas sagradas enseñanzas y solo deseo hacer Servicio devosional por siempre, ruego a Srimati Radharani que me de siempre su misericordia.<img alt="" src="http://hps-d6.monkeywarrior.com/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/38.gif" title="" />

HpS - ASA  -   Jaya.  Muy bien. Prabhupada esta hablando de los sacrificios de Karma kanda de los VEDAS, no?  El mismo dijo que Sankirtana Yajna y adoracion de las deidades tiene que continuar lado a lado como los dos "rails" del ferral-caril, "railroad track".  Pero por que es Kali yuga, Sankirtana tiene que dirigir y adoracion de los deidades seguir.

Muchas gracias por sus enseñanzas en cada respuesta, es completamente satisfactorio leerlas! Gracias por su guia! Aunque tengo trabajo aqui, estamos viendo cuales son los arreglos para volver cerca del templo. Asociacion con Vaisnavas es sumamente necesaria! Su sirvienta, Maha Bhava Cintamani dd.

HpS - ASA - AGTSP!!!    When we get back o USA on 27th we will try to fix the travel, but feels pretty sure that we will visit Manipur and Kolkatta for 2-4th weeks of May.

Vairagya comes from Jnana. Once we know what is this world we become detached.  Look at "vasudevi bhagavati ..." in SB 1.2

Maharaja, I was thinking the other day of giving bad impressions in Krishna Consciousness, Prabhupada, I think stated somewhere we should wear Tilak 24/7 even in our Karmi Clothes and at work, etc. But I was wondering, if I'm stuck with the material half of my family in the City Mall, and my little brother and sister are screaming and trying to wrestle with me on the resting benches<img alt="" src="http://hps-d6.monkeywarrior.com/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/17.gif" title="" /> <img alt="" src="http://hps-d6.monkeywarrior.com/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/a11.gif" title="" />, I have a visible Sikha, Tilaka, bead bag, etc etc, I think people will often see the 'Hare Krishnas' as some crazy typical biblical brainwash satanic cult or something crazy; all the chanting and marble deitys and books(Forgiveness! No real offenses!!) Thats how I sort of viewed it when I first came in, then the genuine authenticity and goal of the whole thing sunk into me: Krsna Prema Bhakti. Then I was like "Oh! Wow, I get the whole point now! Theres steps, a practical process, etc.."

So should I just wear a hood to cover the sikha and wipe off Tilak in Public scenes to avoid making bad impressions on people? With Tilak on, people tend to treat me oddly enough, or sometimes make fun of me in public .. I just don't want to, scare them away from the movement <img alt="" src="http://hps-d6.monkeywarrior.com/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/15.gif" title="" />

I often worry too if people will threaten me with violence too; I know it's probably rediculous to worry about, but o I react if I get some people coming up to me with fists or weapons, am I supposed to just be like Ahimsa, or run away, run away?

HpS - ASA  --    AGTSP!     Esteemed Bhakta Reilly.  For Sankirtana, I think Srila Prabhupada siad that marking the Tilak with water was O.K.    Personally, I think that you are right in many cases. People don't understand it and they have a bad impresssion. On the other hand their ignorant reaction is one thing and their spiritual benefit is another.
Many different aspects.
It also protects us, no?     Because we are wearing it people won't approach us for materialistic reasons. So, I would say that the important thing is to be always hearing and talking about Krsna and Tilak is good if you can do it. You can even wear India dress rather than Dhoti and then it may not seem so strange.
