HpS - ASA - Neither, I. Three weeks now. We maybe eat an extra banana once a day but we are also exercising, like this letter blog and walking 45-minutes each night with NGD, so that should not be such a great problem. Some persistent contamination hanging onto the soul. Some vanity to give up. Obviously its related to envia of Krsna and Guru and Vaisnava. Hmmmm. Fasting, chanting, fresh fruits and vegetables, lots of liquid, Hari Bolo.

we had one question over prabhupada sannyasa?
We all know that he tolerated his wife and children for many years and tried to induce Krsna consciousness in them. But all the efforts were in Vain. Then at one point he took sannyasa.
But from Lilamrita we understand that Sril Bhatkisiddhanta Saraswati Maharaj came in dream of Prabhupada twice [as i remember] and told him to take sannyas. But Srila Prabhupada did not implement those order [please correct me if i am wrong].
HpS - As we remember he said that he was "Horrified" to think if taking Sannyasa, yet he consulted with Prajna kesava Swami, his Godbrother, and he "pulled him out of Maya". So then he took Sannyasa, no?
In Prabhupada's lecture we heard that he says it was mistake that He did not obey those orders and delayed his sannyasa.
Now acaryas do the pastime which are inconceivable for common man like me. Even i think i can misunderstand it.
My question: what lessson should one take from this pastime of Srila Prabhupada.
1. Tolerate wife and kids till the age of vanprastha and then leave them
2. Leave them if they are not contributing [as Prabhupada says it was mistake to delay his Sannyas].
I know I am not Prabhupada, neither I have father like Gour Mohan De, who taught him everyhting needed to understand culturally what is right or wrong.
But I remember we are suggested to follow acaryas. I am not able to understand/identify the foot prints of acaryas i Need your help in understanding them. or May be i such a sinful man that i can not even understand or follow the foot steps.

We had warning of letter from you and as soon as we saw even little hint of "biological details" we answered that such details should go to some nice Grhastha like Sri Hari Das in Boise and even them maybe more specifically his wife can talk with these detaisl with yoiur good wife. We need Ashrama gurus. Men need men, women need women.
One citation that I took as a determining point and also saw another Godbrother attracted to it years later is in the BG some place where Srila Prabhupada says that if family can sit together morning and evening and sing some Bhajans together, discuss their purports and the purport of some revealed scripture, then there is no need to take Sannyasa.
Of course, there has to be consensual discussion about how much money to make, how many kids to have, how much fame to have, that challenge is there but if people are basically willing to dedicates some time morning and evening to hearing what Krsna has to say then it sould all be practical.

haciendo buenos programas y cantando buena yapa distribuyendo unos 40 a 50 libros por dia, estamos colectando para construir el ashram de bramacaris en la finca de Sierra de los Padres. En septiembre nos mudamos a un Loft mucho mas grande mas cerca del centro osea vamos a tener mucho para hacer.....tener nuestros sentidos ocupados para S.Prabhupada y su mision....

Sankirtana es la mas gran manifestacion de misericordia de Krsna. O.K. Siente personas esta fin de semana, 14 proxima, 28 proxima!!! Oooop. Todo el mundo esta buscando un gran cambio de filosofia! I hope your throat infection is better now and you have been able to rest after your hectic travels.
HpS - ASA - We wrtoe about it in the DTC!! Not better, not worse. Don't live don't die. Ha! Ha! Ha... Three weeks now. Think being strict about only offering Suddha Sattva Khanna to Lord Nrsmhadeva will solve 90% of the problems! All the cooks have to be vegetarian, not just the cooking!
It is so nice to read about your travels and your instructions on the blog. Krsna Ksetra Prabhu and I were reading a few entries together and appreciating them very much.
After finishing teaching in Radhadesh, I came to Slovenia, where I am working for a few weeks with Krsna Ksetra Prabhu on our Bhagavatam book project. It is very nice here. Every day I count my blessings to have KK Prabhu's association. We chant together every morning and it is very inspiring. We recently received the copyedited files from Columbia and now we are going through them. It is such a painstaking process. And we are also trying to move ahead with the translation project for our second Bhagavatam book. In a couple of weeks I will go to Kenya for the delivery.
HPS - ASA -- He means his wife's delivery. Such a debt we have to our Mothers to be good workers for society.
I just checked my messages in Williamsburg, and received the message from you. Thank you so much for confirming your Labor Day visit to Virginia! The devotees are very happy. We are trying to organize a one-day program at the University of Virginia (in Charlottesville, 45 minutes from Richmond.) Mayapriya Mataji and Amit Achara Prabhu hold a very nice student program there on a weekday. Saturday, Sunday would be in Richmond for the devotees there. Williamsburg is about an hour away--unfortunately Amrita Keli and Chaitanya will not be there, but I would like to show you my university.
So maybe if you could arrive on Friday, Aug 31 and stay until the 5th or 6th of Sep, depending on when we need to be in Murfreesboro for the program there. I teach on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I would be busy on those days, but otherwise I should be free. The best would be to fly into Richmond (RIC), since the programs will be there on the weekend. SWA flies to Norfolk, which is about 2 hrs away from Richmond, one hour from Williamsburg. We would be happy to look for possible flights if you like.
Guru Maharaja, as you know, we are looking forward to the birth of our second son in a few weeks. Would you please bless him by giving him a name? We would be very grateful. After he is born, I can email you the possible first letters based on astrology, or you could give without consideration of astrology. Either way we would be happy.
I am sorry about the long letter. Thank you again for taking so much trouble to help us in our Krsna consciousness.

HpS - ASA - AGTSP paoho. We are a little bit delerious from this chronic fever and mouth infection. Makes us a little light headed and humous (as if we weren't that way always). Super good news about your publication and association with the Krsna-ksetra Das. Brahma-muhurta??? In the Krsna-book it explains that Krsna even stopped the Rasa lila to observe Brahma muhurta. I have to fight to keep it during this disease also. If we get worse and die from doing Hari-nama yajna during Brahma muhurta then it is Krsna's desire. Who can be a better friend to our family than Krsna. We can just help him. Maybe we are in the way and should die now.
We will look for tickets.
Advaita from Torchlight has a good Frieght Forwarder who can ship Dr. Bandyopadhyay's book from Kolkatta. It is first class academic publication. We will send a program from the Museum show with yours and Garuda's abstracts to Boise. We will see Garuda and everyone in 10-days. This academic preaching has its effect, no? Little by little.

Bueno, estoy cantando las 16 rondas diariamente y siguiendo los 4 principios estrictamente, estudiando los libros de SP y cada noche contamos pasatiempos con mis hijos, estoy haciendo servicio en el templo una vez por semana, el 11 de junio comienza una maratón de sankirtan para el placer de SP,

de qué, no lo sé, no sé de que pueda sentirme tan orgullosa si mi vida ha sido un fracaso, lo único que tengo es a RadhaKrishna y estoy esforzandome por ser cuidadosa en mis tratos con los devotos y reestableciendo la relación con usted Gurudeva por que debido a mis tantas imperfecciones no había notado lo importante que es para mi vida espiritual, sola no soy capaz de hacer ningún avance....
Con el padre de mis hijos sólo mantenemos contacto por los niños, pero creo que así es mejor, aveces hay relaciones que no son sanas y es mejor así...
HpS - Las Gorrillas quedan juntas con los ninos y los Gorrillos otro lado con sus mismos. Usualmente como 10 - 20 metros de distancia en el jungle buscando brotes. Si viene un tigre las madres y ninos gritan, y los machos viene!!! Y los tigres salen.

(Y hay bastante brotes interesantes y asociacion con otros chicas con ninos. Eso es bien. Puede ser mas. Pero es bien. No empuja el rio. Canta Hare Krsna accepta la arregla familiar que tiene y trata adjustar como es mejor. Mejor como todos puede servir a Laksmi y Narayana! (Tiene 16 anos)).
Una pregunta Gurudev??? una vez yo le pedí refugio, eso fue hace mucho tiempo, yo quería saber respetuosamente si aún después de todo este tiempo y de ser una absoluta tonta y perdida puedo tener la misericordia de servir a sus pies de loto????
HPS - Krsna es el objeto de servicio. Si podemos ver como unos estan occupado en su servicio podemos ayuda ellos! Muy bien. Para formalidades tiene que hablar con Ramakeli Prabhu, no? Es buen devoto. Tiene que tomar iniciacion, primero, segundo, tercero! No sea solamente una Gorrilla, pero advanzar a un Chimpanzee!!!
