Hare Krsna Maharaja, 

Thank you very much for the last answer you gave me in the response of my last letter, I fell really blessed by my chance of having your association for a feww days in Santiago, I really enjoyed your classes and I was particullary interested in the academic preaching you showed me, I boughth some of the books you showed in your class and recently I picked then and they are a really interesting aproach for a diferent group of people. I have uncles and ants working as university teachers, and I'm really eager to show then some of the books I bought, maybe some time when you are in Brazil you may be willing to do a program in their university? 

I've been chanting my 16 rounds, following 4 principles, now I'm in US visiting my family, and visiting the temples in NY and the 26 2nd avenue. I'll be back in Sao Paulo friday.

I really hope you are felling rested and better from your health, hope to see you in US when you are here as well and hopefully you will let me have your mercyfull association, how can I check the dates from your tour?

Talking to professors and cientists, once I got asked, "ok so the karma of someone decides some stuff in your life, but we genetically prove that some deseases pass genetically from father to son and so on, but let's assume that the karma puts you in the family with the desease in question, but what about the deseases like alcholism, or even some addictions that some people may have that are genetically stronger in one or in other? Some people are genetically inclinaded to be addicted to tobacoo but never smoked in their lives, but some will never quit smoking, so what is the role in karma in this cases?" 

  HpS it is hard to understand the exact lgic of the questions.  also the interent is bizaare here and we cannot read what we are typing until two minutes after we type it so many spelling mistakes.
Some times the inclinations from karma as expressed n the genes are very strong. We cant avoid them. Do we expect to find a "chaste" dog?  He/She is a dog, they will be FORCED to have sexual relatins.   In other situations, species, families, the impuse is not so strong so  we can control it by our free will some times or always.  Is this the question???

I really apreciate the time you get only by reading this, and hope i don't botter when writing to you... Hope to see you soon, and thanks again for everything!

AGTSP      paoho.   Here we are in the Temple room in Guayaquil, Ecuador.  It is 4.15PM.  It is warm with river breezes just like Mayapura.   We are in a big old building surrounded withe other big old bi    buildijngs surrounded inthe big Plaza del Centennario park.  Theyere ae Iguanas ne the park.  We cannot see what we are writing u ng until 30 seconds after we write it.SO many spelling mstakes.Iti s hot in the sun.  We are right on the Equator.  Tha tis why the country is named Ecuador.  Ha!   Ha!We are one level above the stree.  Looking out a window thater are many many

 people below selling fruit, going to and from the office buildings. Loud musci in the deisntance.  It is the City center.  There are many Tourists from other Lating contires.    the park by the river is incredible.

We took 45-minutes to post our BhVai work and it was sitll rough. The internet is like a bannana with one leg and three wings here.

So we click "Send" and then walk aroudn the room don     doing Japa and looking at the screen every now and then and after tome time the message goes, [usually].Well bannanas are cheap and sweet!SO

Este mes ha sido tan intenso!!!! el poder verlo nuevamente me ha llenado de entusiasmo, de deseos de profundizar más, disculpe si no soy capaz de hablarle directamente, de preguntarle personalmente, me da miedo solo llorar y no decirle nada, y a su lado me quedo sin palabras....y me siento tan torpe, incapaz de hacer algo.......aunque haya adversidad, aunque las situaciones no sean las mejores, usted Gurudeva ilumina todo con su presencia, con su pureza y sabiduría...

           ASA - HpS -   Pienso la mayoria de nuestra potencia solamente es la misericordia del Parampara.  Vd. tambien puede ser portador de la misericordia.  Aun un perro pued unirse a esta movimiento y bailar en exstasis!

aunque el programa en mi casa salio bastante retorcido, pude darme cuenta la buena impresión que usted causo en las personas, incluyendo a mi familia, todos lo encontraron genial!!!! muchas gracias por todo Gurudeva usted ha sido tan misericordioso conmigo y mis hijos!!!!

Durante estos últimos días Krishna me ha enviado una prueba tras otra, no ha sido fácil, pero gracias a su misericordia he podido superarlas y tolerarlas.....Gurudeva ya estoy sintiendo su separación!!!!!!

Mi vida no es la ideal que yo hubiera querido, una familia más o menos normal, pero de alguna forma he aprendido de todo esto, es duro pensar en que he tenido que aprender a madurar sufriendo, pero es lo que me ha tocado...solo espero ser una buena madre y guiar a mis hijos por el camino correcto, por el camino que nos lleva hacia RadhaKrishna!!!!!

16 rondas diarias/ 4 principios estrictos, servicio fijo, he terminado el curso de bhaktinas, así que ahora a profundizar mi lectura de los libros de SP y mi sadhana....una pregunta Gurudeva : aveces hay días en que todo es díficil, en que nos sentimos tan lejos de Krishna, en que este mundo nos parece terrible, como poder superar eso días en que nos sentimos como abandonados por Krishna, es extraño porque nos sentimos tan lejos de Él, pero en esos momentos sabemos más que en otras veces que Krishna es nuestro único refugio?

          HpS - ASA -   Estamos en un rio.   Zooom.... Zooom...   Zoooom!  Hay casacadias, piedras,   troncos buenos con flores y miel....   Entiendes?   A veces el rio es en bondad, aveces es en pasion....      Pero si estamos en al Rio con una cuerda conectado con la ribera y personas tirando nos al ribera eso es muy diferent ser en el rio si cuerda.  Entonces unos dias son en pasion y ignorancia y tenemos que sacar la cuerda fuertamente  and "hold our breath" mientras pasan las ollas.       Podemos tomar apoyo de cual quiere situation Krishna nos envia.  Nada sin oportunidades advanzar!!!

Today I met my parents here un Cancun the 5th December they go back to Peru, and then I continue with the marathon.

   HpS -  Jaya.  Nice refreshing vacation for them!    We get back to Lima on the 5th morning and then leave for the airport 8th evening!

I hope I can be an instrument in this mission! To meditate en Srila Prabhupada's pleasure!

Thanks for letting me know what you need to help you understand this subject matter. I'm not writing a paper which would include a glossary of terms and it's hard to know what you already understand. So this clarification should help me in my response.

1. HpS - AGTSP Hope your drugs help your service! What is a Solar Transit?

Well, if I hadn't taken them, I probably would have risked a much shorter life span and at this point that would certainly limit my service.

Regarding your question, "what is a solar transit?", a solar transit is supposed to mean when the sun crosses a celestial sign of the zodiac.

            ASA - Jaya!  Simple and clear..  From the Frog to the Elefant.  We got it.  AGTSP   paoho.   Whoop!    WHoop!

These signs are derived from the constellations of night sky that lay in the daily path taken by the sun in its course through out the year.  This path is called the ecliptic.

 HpS - What is a tropical sign? What are Nakshatras?

A tropical sign is one of the 12 signs associated with the sun's path troughout the year. It starts when the sun crosses over the equator from its southern path to its northern path. It is derived from the night time zodiac but doesn't change over the millenium. The Hindus recognized that the sun signs and the night signs varied over time; this is called procession.

            ASA - How many years is the cycle of the procession?

 HpS - Does what for us now? Ha! Ha! Ha(re)! It is just like talking French to a Chinaman for us common folk!!! Honestly. You have to define the terms assuming you are starting with people who have a simple newspaper level of astronomical understanding. Did you know that a 12AU7 was a dual pentode vacum tube? -{:O) More News!!!

It really would help if you could take a little time to visit the website, www.astroviewer.com. I think that following a Vaisnava lunar calendar should include understanding it. Furthemore, SP really made alot of emphasis of understanding the Vedic cosmology which is a the heart of the Vedic lunar calendar. If we don't do that, than why follow the lunar calendar at all? It would be alot simpler to just celebrate the same holiday's every year, just as we do with our birthdays. More later.

ASA -  Jaya!   Thank you.  AGTSP   In this Bhakti vaibhava course we are systematically reading the Bhagavatam and the declarations of Prabhupada are kind of to the contrary.   Not completely.  It is more like we should read about the creation, Sarga, Visarga, Virat rupa, Hiranya garbha, and get a reasonable understanding of these things, but it is not necessary to know then in all the detail that the SB presents them.  The same with Cosmology, Astrology, Ayurveda, we should have a practical understanding of them for our service and then we should be expert in the things that relate to our service.  For example, you probably have a reasonbly sane idea like we do why we are vegetarian and why we are not vegan, but we don't know the detailed statistics of animal abuse reactions of the brain to different bovine animal fats and other sources of fats and sugars.

To make a debate and convince people at that detailed level you need to know this.    So we need to know some general principles of astrology and to be able to judge you as an expert and then take your expert advice.

Here in dominican republic we are expanding our program, last night was one year we opened a preaching center here, to celebrate we had a program at the cultural center, 50 people came, 1 reporter, 1 judge and guests. we also began a food for life program which we do every saturday and one month ago opened a govinda resturaunt. although we are a small group of devotees by the mercy of prabhupada we are doing books, kirtan and food for life. now if only we can get maharaj here we would be complete.

          HpS - ASA -  Oink!   Oinnk!!!    AGTSP    paoho.     So nice to hear from Mr. Jaya!          Honestly we are 64 years old now.  Hair on our chest is almost 100 white/grey.   Our eyes are failing.  One tooth has already been taken by the Tooth Fairy to our next destination etc.  This is the last year, month that we are going to push it.  2013 our plan is "Monkey and Piggy Retire Timely".  2014 - 2024 whatever Krsna wants.  Whoop!     WHoop!            Domincan sounds nice!!!      We certainly want to stay in touch with it all!     If Krsna wants we certainly could have no objection.     -{:o)+
