Thank you so so much for your love and attention. For your devotion, for your example, for everything.  I received your mercy trhough the initiation (17 january 2009). Almost four years ago now that you accepted me in your family and definitely I do not wan to dissapoint you ever. You accepted my karma and that can only be done by a Saintly person that lives only for Krishna and therefore for all the other people.

May be you do not remember me or my name. I know it is my fault because I do not keep in contact with you via Internet. But I would like you to know that you and Srila Prabhupada are in my thoughts every day. Before I do anything during the day I first meditate and contemplate if those activities will be pleasing to you. When I chant my rounds i remember all the wonderful things you did for Srila Prabhupada and that is the best example, the best inspiration to continue this war against Maya.

I am always praying for you and for your health. In Bolivia we will have your Vyasa Puja on January 13^th (Sunday) and I will make many preparations, at least 108. It is going to be a beautiful party where you and Srila Prabhupada and all the Parampara will be celebrated.

I waited quite long for an opportune moment to write to you because I really do not to disturb you on your activities.

I would like to express my enourmous happines because I had your association in Arequipa; also because there I got the opportunity to associate with many spiritual brothers and systers like Gaura Gadadhara (whom I truly love), Yugala Mataji, Patrak Prabhu, Manasi Ganga Mataji, etc. We had beutyful days together, specially that day of picnic in the beach.

Devotees in Bolivia we are very good. During december we got the visit of H.H. Jayapataka Swami Maharaj. He came back to Bolivia after more than four years. They were exiting days: I had the opportunity to speal with His Holiness, I shower him the work I make and he was delighted. He expressed his desire of me going to Lima to restore Parama Karuna Sri Sri Gaura Nitai from Wilson Temple. That was something that shocked me on a spiritual level. It was a beautiful joy, I hope some day this whish could become true – depending always on your blessings Dear Gurudeva.

We continue living in Cochabamba with my husband Vrishabanu. My service is regular (assisting in the kitchen, being pujari, some Sundays I give Bhagavad Gita classes and other services like restoring Deites from different devotees – I already fixed more than 20 pairs of deties, from different parts of the country and Perú).

I continue studying art. I had left the studies for two years, but Krishna made me comeback. This is my way. I really hope this service is pleasing you Dear Gurudeva. We have more plans with Mathuresh Prabhu, one of them is to produce a natural size Murti of Srila Prabhupada for the new temple to be built here in Tiquipaya.

You want we to do Sankirtan and that is what we are doing. On 2012 I participated in the Marathon, I could distribute many many books, including Bhagavad Gitas and now I have to go to La Paz to teach how to do sankirtan to a mataji. I humbly request from you to shower your blessings on us both so that we can distribute many books in La Paz.

This year I would like to serve more the Sankirtan of Srila Prabhupada, I would like to continue studying and to be able to do some service that can really help your mission and satisfy you.

Please do not forget this servant that loves you very dearly.

HpS - AGTSP....   Paoho...  Is very nice to hear from you.    You are on the right path.  Because of previous work Krsna has given you so much facility to do some very real service.  Your intelligence of your service and nature will become more and more deep and your association with other devotees, your husband, will also become deeper and deeper.  This is what we think.  Thank you so much. Please go ahead with full enthusiasm.

Hope you are doing well.

I was not feeling well today so could not work much. We met Mother Urmila (Urmila Edith Best) in Chennai in December last year. After talking to her I felt some inspiration to start reading to know (as opposed to just reading or reading because of requirement). Hence as today anyways I could not do much i decided to utilize this opportunity to start on her recommendation.

In the Bhagavad Gita Introduction page 8, there is some discussion on prakrti..it is described as inferior superior, translated as nature, but still I am not able to completely understand..what is prakrti??what do we mean by nature??

HpS - ASA --  AGTSP  pamho.  As we read more and more SB there is more and more detailed explanation. Basically it is the physical world as opposed to the spirit souls and Krsna.

Very basic small doubts, sorry to be asking KG questions. Some other doubts -

1. Lord is very merciful to living entities especially human beings - why humans? why not the apes? or is it that we think so becuase we ARE humans? perhaps he is more merciful to trees or peacocks also? or equally merciful to all?

ASA - He is merciful to all. His mercy is that He gives us human body to have chance to understand Him if we want to.

2. the sincere student should have firm respect for the Supreme personality of godhead (page 6). what does firm respect mean?

ASA - Is like when you are standing somewhere and trying to pull a root out of the ground.  You can have firm stance or weak stance.  So you respect should be firm. You should see what is the ground of your respect.  If there are doubts you should investigate them and see that they are false.

Hare Krsna querido Gurudev, en la víspera de Su vyasa puja le agradezco a Krsna por Su gloriosa existencia,  muchas gracias por su ultima respuesta, Usted tiene toda la razon, con respecto a las personas en sankirtan, gracias por recordarme que debo ver a Krsna en cada una de ellas.

Le cuento que gracias a Su miserciordia saque el tercer lugar en la maraton de diciembre para el placer de srila Prabhupada, se lo cuento humildemente como una ofrenda en su vyasa puja, tambien le cuento que mis servicios para el templo son el festival de sankirtan en paseo ahumada sabado por medio, en el cual Usted tuvo la bondad de particpar en su ultima visita (por supuesto algo que siempre le agradecere,  nunca olvidare ese momento) con este servicio colectamos para pagar cosas del templo que hagan falta por ejemplo, las contribiones a pagar o deudas, o aportes para la reconstruccion del templo etc, tambien con ese laksmi los devotos cambiaron la fachada del templo, la pintaron e hicieron una placa que dijiera iskcon y todo... en el último evento tuvimos el agrado de tener la presencia trascendental de Srila Sankarshan das adhikari y Su esposa.....

Bueno tambien le cuento que  estoy viviendo aqui en los andes, la razon mas que nada es que necesito conocer bien a la persona que estoy eligiendo para ser mi compañero durante muchos años lo cual no es menor, ademas me casare pronto ahora en febrero.....

Seguimos haciendo bhakti vriksas aqui en los andes, no hemos logrado tener muchos miembros aun pero eso no nos quita el entusiasmo, tenemos dos miembros fijos, Jhon y Silvana ellos son vegetarianos y cantan algunas rondas ....

Este año pasado hubieron grandes cambios en mi vida. Y eso me ha hecho  madurar un poco mas, ahora me siento mas convencida de lo que quiero:  ser devota, y predicar, cambiando el escenario ese deseo continua,  a veces se convierte en anhelo. Vivo lejos de los devotos a 1 hr y media y eso es mas dificil,  a pesar de que vivo con un devoto, no es lo mismo, pero me motiva expandir la conciencia de Krsna, intento todos los dias asociarme con Prabhupada mediante sus libros y escuchar clases de SP. y de Usted, por audio grabado.

Mi sadhana aun no es estable, me esforzare este año por mejorar, aun no despertamos a las deidades porque compartimos casa con mas gente que no es vegetariana, pero esa situacion cambiara pronto si Krsna quiere, por mientras ensayamos nuestro estandar con un altar de fotitos, salgo a distribuir libros casi todos los dias, muy a menudo me siento indigna de ser Su discipula y eso me genera frustacion, pero quiero mejorar de verdad, lo unico que le pido a Krsna es que yo siempre me pueda refugiar en Sus pies de loto y pueda corresponder algun dia a todo Su esfuerzo por predicar sin importar Su salud o Su edad.

Este año me propuse aprender Ingles. asi que espero que la proxima vyasa puja le pueda escribir en ingles.-

Gracias Gurudev eternamente, gracias a Su asociacion una persona tan básica como yo puede despertar el deseo de ser mejor para Krsna.

             HpS - ASA -  Gracias.  TlgaSP!!!    pfanrh....  No olvida la prioridad: 16 rondas entusiastas minimo y 4 prncipios estrictamente.    Claro, levantando temprano.   Programa completa por la manana, asociacion con otros sadhikas es essential realizar estas cosas.   Claro, situacion en Daivi varna ashrama es un parte muy importante.  Espero que su esposo es muy fijado en proteger Vd.  Su vida espiritual!

In the occation of your Vyasapuja I want to thanks that I have the mercy of your association, showing me the path, being an inspiration, and a representative of Krsna, of the guru parampara. Thank you for accepting me as your disciple, although I don't deserve it. In this age, we have the biggest fortune, that common and materalistic people like me can have contact with vaisnavas like yourself. Thank you for giving us your association through the blog, reports, webex... It reminds me that real life is in Krsna Conciousness. It reminds me that Krsna Conciousness is deep, intense. That devotional service for Krsna is very serious business. I pray I can make progress in my love (service) for Krsna and Srila Prabhupada under your guidance, in order to be your real disciple.

Report:
Marathon finished. I don't know yet my score exactly. It is not much much, around... 1800 small book, 120 LOB, 20 big books, 17BG... I am ashamed because I didn't my best. I did not work so hard. My mind becomes tired soon and I didn't push it to the limits, only some pushing to the mind. Now I feel sad and ashamed, because other devotees made more for Krsna, and it is not only for the result or honor. But there is a satisfaction when you give everything to Krsna, I see other devotees can taste this, but because I am "miser"(avaro) I didn't gave everything to Krsna, I kept attached to my comfort in mind and body, so now I cannot taste this spiritual satisfaction of having made a big endeavor for Krsna. So I feel sad. I feel ashamed with Prabhu Aravinda, because I think he expected more. He didn't tell anything of course, but I feel sad I cannot offer a better endeavor and result to my authorities and Krsna . Compared to other matajis I did half... But at the same time I am very grateful I could make something for Krsna, I am grateful for each book I gave, I tried to do it with as much devotion as I have. I hope, if I cannot go beyond the limits of my mind and body, at least I can become steady, and do this service all my life, and improve my love and devotion to my service, in order to really please Krsna.

I gave my email to some very interested people in the marathon, and they wrote to me with very nice comments about the books. One person even came the 31th to the temple (but I think he also had a motivation for me as mataji... so I tried to talk to him with other devotees present, and to preach to him very clearly, showing that it was to share spiritual knowledge that we approach people. He took a BG. But I was thinking what to do in this cases?)
