AGTSP Hare Krishna Gurudeva mis mas humildes reverencias. Hace un par de Dias estuve leyendo el venu gita en donde mencionaban... (Capitulo 2 pag 38)... Las diferentes rasas y premas que saborea Sri Krishna con sus amigos, Madre y gopis y asi mismo menciona que Para lograr alguno de esos tipos de premas tienen que ser espontaneos "Si un devoto abriga Una devocion amorosa pura por Mi, pensando en mi como su hijo, amigo o amante, considerándose importante y tomandome como su igual o inferior, Yo quedo subordinado a el"... Entonces gurudeva como logramos ver a la suprema personalidad de dios como un hijo, amigo o cónyuge ? Como florecer ese amor tan puro por Sri Krishna? más adelante también dice "cuando los devotos sumisos escuchen acerca del amor puro de los residentes de vraja, también me adorarán en el sendero del amor espontáneo abandonando todo ritual religioso y actividad fruitiva"...-Como se llega a ser sumiso y considerar al mismo tiempo a la Suprema Personalidad de Dios como hijo, amigo,hermano, etc? Dear Maharaj, Please, accept my reverences I write to you because I need some warm advice, to be sure that there's still some of Love for Krishna in my heart... Im living in Egypt because I'm gonna get married with an egyptian guy, his family is a quite traditional Muslim family, but they accept our relationship gladly. My boyfriend is quite open minded, he is happy about my beliefs and respect and accept them. He always is asking me about krishna, karma and reincarnation. Unfortunately, I don't have books in English to make him read. Even I'm following just one principle (vegetarian for ever) today I felt the strong desire to set up an altar in our home, with a RadhaKrishna deity that Laksmi Radha devi dasi gave to me in Santiago. Also I chanted two rounds, after months without doing it... I always remember your words and advices, May be it's a kind of sentimentalism the way I feel now, but I just would like to read some words from you, to know that this weak link between me and Krishna is not broken. HpS -  Wow!   AgtSP!   Paoho.             Your name is very strong in our mind, but we can;t remember your form or pastimes.  Ha!     Ha!               Ha!              Of course, its nice to hear from you.                If you are goood Muslim lady and gooood Muslim husband then the four principles are also recomended.  Of course, the Koran is written for people in dificult situacion in the desert so basically it says that you may have to eat camel meat etc.     But that's not the best suggestion. So look for good Muslem ladies and you will find that KC is natural for everyone.  Try translating a little little bit into local language.  Send more news!

Sankhya and a New Direction for Modern Science
Before the time of Sir Isaac Newton there was a battle between the Alchemists and the Mechanical Philosophers over whose discipline would be the King of the Sciences. The Mechanical Philosophers won, so Physics has become the normative science in the West. However, it also includes a Cosmology, Ontology and generates specific moral standards. For example, is abortion healthy or unhealthy?

There is an ongoing debate in Oxford between the leading scientists and theologians, and among others in the world, that peace, prosperity and fraternity in the world can only come when we improve our scientific view of life.

The speaker has had success in presenting the Sankhya of Kapila deva from the 3^rd Canto of the esteemed Srimad Bhagavata Purana as an excellent way for science to go ahead. He will incidentally clarify the distinction between the Bhagavata Sankhya of Sri Caitanya’s tradition and the Sankhya of Isvara Krsna Das.

In the majority he will give a probably novel and detailed explanation of this Bhagavata Sankhya with correspondence to accepted Western scholars such as Carl G. Jung and E. T. Hall. Of course the question should arise, what is the position of Music, Dance and Drama as sciences within this context.

    A G T S P !   (((paoho)))   Here we are in Kolkatta Temple. We have nice room. The devotees have been so, so helpful.  It was long hard trip from Australia and our time is getting booked up here pretty fast.
   Our work with Dr. Samaresh is going pretty good.
   All the different projects seem pretty much under control.   We are still having heart fatigue.  We adjust the work and that definitely helps, but doing nothing seems the greatest strain on the heart.   If we are going to die, better to die doing Sankirtan.

   Probably 90% of our readers face the same confrontations.  O.K.  We adjust our schedule, work, as best as we can and then push ahead inspite of the heart squeezes. The regular Sadhana like that really seems to do the heart good.

    We have 23/32 rounds done.
   Dr. SB is coming to the Temple after Museum meeting.  NOw it is 4.27PM. Sun has gone.  Birds singing. Little warm but O.K.   Radha Govinda are so nice.
    The Kapi-Dhvaja is supposed to go today.

After returning from Rama Navami last friday we watched youtube's Sita sings the blues, a modern rendition of the Ramayana. Are you familiar with that? Nice art, and culturally funny too.

A while ago i learned about the Vatican movie list and watched several of them, including Carl Dreyer's 1928 The passion of Joanne of Arc. I don't know how you feel about that, i found it very heavy to watch. There is a version on Vimeo with classical score, it's so dramatic.

  HpS - ASA -  AGTSP.....  Spiritualizing YOUTUBE.COM is one of the major efforts of the current Hare Krsna movement.   Your investigation is certainly wonderful.  We saw a more recent Joan of Arc movie. Our final conclusion is that it is like watching a Tamasic or Rajarsic Purana.  Many things very nice but also a lot of stuff that makes you feel bad afterwards also.
