I am so happy to hear you are doing very well with the lectures in denver and that is happy a good response, well about the association question you ask me about what type association i have in panama well most of my friends are devotees or vegetarian or straight edge , my best friend just turn vegetarian a few months ago he is living right now in venezuela i miss him so much he is like my brother. My friends tend to something with art and music just like me I guess is the type of enviroment i enjoy ,i love art and music .

About the canal lease yes its over Panama has control over the canal since 2000 ,we control the canal and they are making a third set of locks which is expected to be ready for next year plus a 3rd huge bridge of the side of the atlantic .

Tomorrow is Ratha Yatra i  am so excited ive been looking forward to this for quite a while i hope i can record and take as many pics as i can , i will be participating in this year theatre i am narada muni i prepared myself a lot i watched so many videos so i can get right in character. On sunday we will have a huge harinam in this area that they are making the day of the kids we are going to take advantage there are a lot of devotees that come from other part of the world to be here for the Ratha Yatra.

Well.  Our internet, Comcast, was supposed to come today like 10AM. Then they were to come at 5-7PM.  At 7.20PM they had not come so we came over to Nitai-gaurasundara's home to go for our regular evening walk. It takes 45-minutes.

Mother Mina was on the phone waiting for 30-minutes and could not get past the waiting machine to reschedule the appointment to install the service. We are squeezing this message out at NGD's home at 9.04PM.  We made a power point show for the Friday, Hawaii class today, and read a lot of Carl Jung.

Our eyes are having a hard time focusing for very long but we are learning to adjust. We did our 26-rounds today, and a we, Monkey, did a lot of work on our hand-written journal.

O.K.  Look for Urgent letters and go take rest!

Maybe will have internet in our cave soon.

Hello Maharaja, this is David from Argentina. I have two questions jumping around my head and I have faith you can give light on it : It is the same to chant Holy Names using wood Japa than using electronic counter? I´ve found really easier to do grhastra life using an electronic counter , while doing things, waiting on bank, walking to the metro, etc, to chant just pushing a botton on a digital counter on my finger....but deep inside of me I think this is not the same than having a Tulasi Japa on my right hand. Please enlight me with your knowledge Maharaja.

             HpS - AgtSP.   paoho.  Prabhupada says like "Sixteen rounds minimum on beads".  So that is the best.  Seems that, yes, having Tulasi beads increases the potency.   But if we can't do that then chanting on mechanical device is certainly better than not chanting!!

The second one is about luxury. How does luxury appears in mind and heart?. Once on desire its so hard to keep intelligence strenght, but I wonder why luxury appears, what is the mechanism that allows luxury to do the first move. I want to know it, to understand and prevent those episodes .
            HpS - I think the word is lust, no luxury.  Luxury means like "lujo".  High class restaurant or airplane seat.    Lust comes because we want to be attracted by Maya. So,  Krsna draws our attention to our senses.  When the senses are engaged in serving Krsna, seeing Krsna, smelling Krsna...   Then they are transparent channels and no energy builds up on them.   When we start to try to please them, get rasa from serving them rather than Krsna, that is lust.  The pressure builds up unaturally and then we want to release it.
Oh, and just one more...have you been Grhastra right?.
                HpS -  Kind of.  When I was becoming a devotee, but soon, Bhakta Huber and wife got separated and she remarried a nice person after six years and he stayed b'cari.

That is all Maharaja, I do keep my sadhana but this kind of question I believe is keeping me away from spiritual advance.

We get internet in our cave/office tommorrow!   We have 1 week and 5 days of letters to answer. We are getting the Office going. There was no ventilation in our office room, but today we broke open one of the windows and looks like we will be O.K. with no air-conditioning and just a fan.  The air-conditioning is rather expensive.

We are actually making good progress with the writing work.    It's always austere in sannyasa ashrama if you follow it properly, but that is good. Even a fool can get purified by Prabhupada's mercy and go to join the boys in the pastures in Goloka.

Lots of work to do there.

   HpS - ASA -  AGTSP.   paoho.  As I remember I worked on the CD in his house. It had very extreme problems and then left it there for him to do more work. My netbook didn't have a CD reader and I have not seen the CD in my luggage.  I don't have it.  He worked on it and gave it to Sanjaya at the Gaudiya math.  Maybe there were two CDs.  Movie and still photos.   I don't have either.  Thank you!!!   You are a generous person!!
