Aún seguimos en "Gopalandia"= Cochabamba Bolivia (todos los devotos tienen un Gopal en sus casas) Estamos hospedados con los discípulos de Srila Narayana Goswami Maharaja, ellos tienen una relación vivencial espiritual tan fuerte con su guru que nos inspira mucho. Ayer tuvimos un programa de Ratha Yatra y me dieron la misericordia de pintar a las deidades JBS para el festival 🙏

El Prabhu Nityananda (vivió 16 años en India) formó un grupo para tocar bhajans MANTRARAS, mi pareja (Govinda) toca los cartalos y yo hago coros. Concursamos para un concierto musical grande que organiza la Alianza Francesa y fuimos clasificados!!!! El sábado 24 de junio tenemos la presentación musical, también repartiremos dulces haribolitas prasadam. Y el 25 (sí Krishna quiere regresamos a Perú)

Se presentó la oportunidad para viajar al templo de España. Escribí al Prabhu Mahajan para consultar sobre un anuncio de voluntariado en el hotel del templo, luego hablamos y cuando le conté que estudié educación y tenía práctica con niños que tienen diversos problemas de aprendizaje, el Prabhu me dijo que quizás podía hacer el voluntariado en el gurukula. Consulté con mi papá y él está muy feliz de que yo viaje al templo de España (ese es su deseo y sueño para sus hijos, que hagamos nuestras vidas fuera de Sudamérica) mi papá se siente más seguro si yo estaría con los devotos. Según me dijo el Prabhu Mahajan en estos días me mandarían la invitación para que yo solicite una visa religiosa por un año... bueno mi deseo real es estar en España para así luego poder ir a India y verlo Gurumaharaja Y al mismo tiempo conocer a la familia de mi pareja que viven en Eslovaquia e Inglaterra (soy sincera) Mis tíos que me educaron de niña ya dejaron este mundo, siento que necesito cambiar de espacio, laboralmente ya aprendí lo básico para trabajar con niños en Sudamérica (hice unas prácticas en un centro de terapia para niños en Bolivia y la metodología es la misma) Pero usted qué opina Gurumaharaja?

Sí Krishna quiere que el viaje a España se realice pues iría con Govinda (mi pareja es de Europa así que para él no hay que realizar trámites de protocolo) él estaría conmigo un mes quizás y luego Govinda iría a Checoslovaquia para un trabajo. Pensamos en casarnos pero mi papá dice que es mejor esperar un tiempo más para conocernos (tenemos 2años y unos meses de relación) pienso que los europeos cargan unos trastornos sociales históricos muy fuertes (la unión soviética, invasiones de Sudamérica, India, etc) karmaticamente les cuesta mucho ser sumisos y quizás rendirse al guru y Krishna (piensan mucho con la mente,ego y escuchan poco a paramatma quizás)

Yo lo extraño mucho Gurumaharaja... aún creo que va venir a Perú para pasar su cumpleaños con nosotros...pero luego pienso que usted siempre se acercó a nosotros, ahora es tiempo de que nosotros vayamos a verlo donde usted se encuentre.

The opportunity presented itself to travel to the temple in Spain. I wrote to Prabhu Mahajan to inquire about a volunteer advert at the temple hotel, then we talked and when I told him that I studied education and had practice with children who have various learning disabilities, the Prabhu told me that perhaps I could volunteer at the gurukula. I consulted with my dad and he is very happy that I travel to the temple in Spain (this is his wish and dream for his children, that we make our lives outside of South America) my dad feels more secure if I would be with the devotees. As Prabhu Mahajan told me, these days they would send me the invitation so that I could apply for a religious visa for one year... well, my real desire is to be in Spain so that later I can go to India and see Gurumaharaja and at the same time meet Gurumaharaja. my partner's family who live in Slovakia and England (I'm honest) My uncles who raised me as a child have already left this world, I feel I need to change places, at work I already learned the basics to work with children in South America (I did an internship in a therapy center for children in Bolivia and the methodology is the same) But what do you think, Gurumaharaja?

If Krishna wants the trip to Spain to take place, he would go with Govinda (my partner is from Europe so there are no protocol procedures for him) he would be with me for perhaps a month and then Govinda would go to Czechoslovakia for a job. We thought about getting married but my dad says that it is better to wait a while longer to get to know each other (we have been in a relationship for 2 years and a few months) I think that Europeans carry very strong historical social upheavals (the Soviet Union, invasions of South America, India, etc) karmatically It is very difficult for them to be submissive and perhaps surrender to guru and Krishna (they think a lot with their minds, ego and listen little to paramatma perhaps)

I miss you very much Gurumaharaja... I still think that he will come to Peru to spend his birthday with us... but then I think that you always approached us, now it's time for us to go see him wherever you are .

Thaaaaank you! I stumbled into PraveenMohan's channel yesterday and looked at some of his work. I watched the Rama's Bow to 4.18. It is interesting, but he seems to be stuck in the perspective of trying to analyze everything in terms of Kali yuga atmosphere.

Like a cockroach in New York in the Winter, trying to understand how things we in the Fall.

Even from our little application of this Yoga we can see that just by learning to purify the body by chanting and dancing to Srila Prabhupada's tune, we start to develop such internal strengths.

Eg. Maybe we can grow piezoelectric crystals in our pineal glands.

Today I want to ask you about your understanding regarding the golden age, the 10,000 years of Krishna consciousness in Kali Yuga.

A while ago I read this quote:

The Brahma-vaivarta Purana, an ancient scripture, describes a conversation between Lord Sri Krishna and Ganga Devi that occurred in Dvaraka. Speaking on behalf of all the sacred rivers, Ganga Devi expressed all her fear of the coming of Kali-yuga (the age of rifts) and the imminent departure of the Lord back to the spiritual world. She said, “Oh Lord, we can see that Your pastimes are ending and people are becoming more and more materialistic! You have been very merciful to us, however, after Your departure, all the sinners of Kali-yuga will come to bathe in our waters and we will dry up, taken over by sinful reactions."

  Smiling, Lord Krishna replied, “Be patient…in five thousand years, My mantra-upasaka (worshipper of the holy name) will appear in this world and spread the chanting of My holy name everywhere. Not only in Bharata-varsa (India) but all over the world people will chant Hare Krishna, Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna, Hare Hare, Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare. Through this chanting, the entire world will become Hari-bhakta, devotee of Lord Hari. And since the devotees of Lord Hari are very pure, all those who come in contact with those devotees will be purified from sinful reactions. Such pure devotees will visit Bharata-varsa and purify it from all sinful reactions by bathing in its holy waters. That period of chanting Hare Krishna in the whole world will last for ten thousand years."

The question arose in me as to who this mantra-upasaka was. Naturally my answer was Lord Caitanya, but it did not exactly agree with Krishna's dating of 5,000 years from the time.

HpS - Don't know the document, translator or context. Hmmm. Yet, think Sivarama Swami reespects this citation. Seems like Lord Caitanya and then it has a section glorifying His Sena pati as doin the rest of the work in India and outside of India.

That matches Srila Prabhupada very well.

I kept researching until I thought of asking a devotee who knows this topic in detail.

Prabhu Hare Krishna from Mexico is a scholar who has thoroughly studied Vedic culture. After watching a video in which he shares the prophecies of the Kali Yuga, I asked him about the text that I quoted at the beginning and he replied:

Regarding the disappearance of Krishna, the most accurate calculation was made by the late friend Dr. Narahari Achar with the best astronomy programs, when the Naksachatra of the star Roghini was on the 8th day of the waning moon of the month of Sravana August. -Sept. Prabhupada in his purports says that it was September. This was in the year 3167 B.C. 

In 1896 the year 5000 was fulfilled after the departure of Krishna. Kali yuga began on February 18, 13102 B.C.

So according to astrological calculations, the mantra-upasaka may be Srila Prabhupada, since he was born in 1896 and with this it would be understood that the golden age began with his birth, only 127 years ago.

my very narrow mind firstly didn’t let me think quite openly about your statements,

but after a while, and thanks to Krishna, I began considering what you said.

I’m very sorry if I sound very persistent with this topic, the thing is that I need to understand truths, well in order to feel comfortable with myself and with Krishna.

So what I understood from what you told me is that there isn’t possibility of the soul falling accidentally from Vaikuntha or Goloka, but due to it’s free will he/she can choose to abandon Krishna’s company, did I get it right??

So my question is, why perfected souls might change from being perfect to being imperfect, wouldn’t that be a fault in perfection, not letting that quality express fully?

HpS/ASA - Srila Prabhupada comments that maybe we were this or that but now we are neither. We are in Maya. By following the process we see that we are becoming liberated from coffee, tea, tobacco, arrogance, greed for fame...

In our present state these things are not completely clear, but as we come out of the fog, they become clear.

Yes the soul is Acyuta.

Bh. Vinode Thakura gives an example of a child becoming absorbed in the mirror reflection of the moon, but that does not mean that it is not being still held by the affectionate mother. We become fallen in our little absorption in Maya, but that does not mean that we are not Acyuta at heart. That is how we heard him cited to explain this point today.

We can go on, and on, and on with logical arguments, but basic principal is that we have free will in every circumstance, and if we chose to go into Maya we can.

Of course, we become frightened when we hear this because we want to enjoy independently (Maya), so we don't want to consider that we have responsibility for our actions.
