Hare Krsna,

We are leaving for Houston, Mexico, India within 45-minutes. Writing last minute urgent letters, packing, dangerous headache, but the Sankirtan is going ahead.

Yesterday we tried to finalize these tickets for South America. Lima was pretty easy. Not really easy, but we did it. We have a ticket to and from Lima: 21 June - 26 July. We were thinking some time in Peru and Bolivia and some time in Santiago.

Then we tried for TWO HARD hours to work out the Brazil ticket and nothing works. A direct flight is $1,500. There is one cheap ticket on Jet Blue - Azul through Florida, but that takes 24-hours and will go through four airports each direction. Then... the Visa is a lot of work and costs $160 for each entry. If we go on to Argentina and come back for our flight through Rio then that will be $320 for the Visa ...   so... at this point it seems like this Brazil, Argentina trip is not happening! .... .

We are trying our best but is lot of work to get reasonable tickets, and then the travel is very hard.

We are open to professional suggestions!

PAMHO, All  Glories to Srila Prabhupada!

This month i have meditated in the different steps of devotees development. How we deal with different situations

For mercy of Krsna this year has been a hard battle to keep the enthusiasm and to help others in the same.

Maya is very expert warrior, she knows how camouflage himself very well, I am very amazed of her, and  I must recognize that she to do a good service.

Thanks to her I am understand that I do not have any options more that surrender to Krsna.

I read in SBG  1.15.27, Arjuna mentions that instructions of Krsna alleviate burning heart in all circumstances, kala and space (place). Then SP mentions that Krsna left BG for people who do not have time to review others books.

Then I think about the mission of books distribution, it is achieved they have the books But now it must be ensured they understand the message and this is part of educational job and this mission is so large and deep as to distribute books, in order to provide people that help others to understand this study is necessary more educational offers, at least there should be 3 educational groups.

What do you think?

HpS - ASA --- Thank you very much for your efforts. Unless we go on like you have be doing, it is going to get very dark and cold and Kali yuga will conquer everywhere.

We should have Bh S, Bh Vai etc. Srila Prabhupada designed these, and they should be practical training for Sankirtan, but... there are so many ways to do Sankirtan. Even a dog can take part in this movement and dance in ecstacy, no?  So we need dancing schools for dogs!

We can teach Sankirtan the way we know it and can relate to it from our perspective. Develop YOUR Sankirtan then look for people who can take part of it for their benefit! !

Gurudeva did not understand this, he answered me in an earlier letter, I am currently serving in Chosica, NIMSAR and Pujari Sunday School, and I have always conversed with the authorities, P. Karuna, Omkara and M N. kinkari. A month ago I spoke with Prabhu Yamunesvara and with Jaya Laksmi, members of the Board of Wilson, and we stayed in talking with Mother Ganga, I would have talked to them but because of working hours it was not possible, I talk to them this week. At the present time by changes in the administration of Wilson, they are more flexible to the dialogue and P. Yamunesvara stated that he wanted to participate more actively in Wilson.

Regarding NIMSAR there is a problem of functions and communication, so the next meeting is about that procedure manual, it is an administrative and internal arrangement, so I do not understand this that I answered the last time, you wrote: "Then We are very, very strongly proposing that you do not have any Nimsar meetings unless there is a member of the National Council and other gifts to participate. "

With the National Board or National Council led by Fr. Caitanya Candra, a representative of NIMSAR, I think he must be the same president or delegate of the group and present his work plan of studies in the temple or project on proposal. That's why I do not understand your answer.

HpS - There are many members of the National Council, Caitanya, Caturatma, Karuna, and also the Presidents and Members of the Temples. Our idea is that unless we have enthusiastic participation of the Temple community officials then we should stop trying to do Bh. Vai. or Bh. Sastri. We can do something else that will push to higher development, but in Radha-desa, other places the Mihe, Vihe, Ole, is well integrated with the Temple, then it works. Different units focus on different work.

So far LAD must have communicated the problems of NIMSAR, official statement. There have been many irregularities. Please clarify what you wrote me, because I do not understand.

If there is a NIMSAR meeting with you that we would like very much, how long would it be?

HpS - I think we meet Friday. Can be for 1/2 hour. That is enough for us. The we apply what we discussed and then meet again!!!  Conquer the world for Govinda!

Gurudeva no entiendo esto, que me respondio en una carta anterior, actualmente hago servio en chosica, escuela dominical de NIMSAR y Pujari los domingo y siempre converso con las autoridades P. Karuna, Omkara y M N. kinkari. Hace un mes hable con prabhu Yamunesvara y con Jaya Laksmi, miembros de la Junta de wilson, y quedamos en hablar con madre Ganga, ya hubiera hablado con ellos pero por horarios de trabajo no fue posble, esta semana hablo con ellos. En la actualidad por cambios en la administración de wilson, estan más flexibles al dialogo y P. Yamunesvara manifestó que deseaba que participe más activamente en Wilson.

Respecto a lo de NIMSAR hay un problema de funciones y comunicación, por eso la próxima reunión trata de eso manual de procedimientos, es un arreglo administrativo e interno, por ello No entiendo esto que me respondio la vez pasada, Ud. escribió:"Entonces estamos proponiendo muy, muy firmemente que usted no tenga ninguna reunión de Nimsar a menos que haya un miembro del Consejo Nacional y otros presentes para participar".

Con la Junta nacional o Consejo Nacional liderado con P. Caitanya Candra va un representante de NIMSAR, pienso que debe ser el mismo presidente o delegado del grupo y presenta su plan de trabajo de estudios en el templo o proyecto a propuesta. POr eso no entiendo su respuesta.

Hasta el momento LAD debe haberle comunicado los problemas de NIMSAR, verción oficial. Han habido muchas irregularidades. Por favor,  clarifique lo que me escribió, pues no entiendo.

De haber una reunión NIMSAR con Ud. que nos gustaría mucho, esta cuándo sería?

Usted me inspira mucho, al ver Su ejemplo de vida a seguir y por la asociación con Usted, a través de su respuesta, inmediatamente he adquirido entusiasmo cuando casi lo estaba perdiendo. Querido maharajá 
Le escribo desde Guadalajara , México cantando 16 rondas entusiastas , siguiendo los cuatro principios , sigo en mi servicio de ofrecer comida a Srila Prabhupada y realizo la puja todos los viernes, estos últimos meses me dedique a pulir y reparar la parafernalia dañada así como ayudar a los pujaris a realizar ceremonias , aunque me ayudan más a mi al servirlos que yo a ellos .

ASA - Muy bien!

El 4 de noviembre ; durante el mes de kartika, siendo las 16:08 mi esposa dio a luz un varón; al principio estuvo un poco mal , le tuvieron que hacer  cesaría de emergencia pero ella y el bebe ya está bien gracias a krsna y a su misericordia gurúdeva.

HpS - Ooof!  Si, la concusion es bueno aun hay sufrimiento para todos! 

Tan sólo a sus 22 días de nacido , lo lleve al festival de Ratha Yatra en su edición 40 , se lo ofrecí a sus señorías Jaganatha , Balaram  y Leidy Subhadra 

Krsnha me dio la fortuna de participar en el festival subiendo el kanupi del carro de Leidy Subhadra y me invitaron a dar un taller sobre el canto del santo nombre el Maha mantra Hare Krsna, fue muy néctario para mi y motivante relacioname con las personas y los devotos , apesar de que yo no se nada krsna hizo sus arreglos  .

Este domingo 18 de diciembre le aremos la ceremonia de nombre para el bebe , a las 11 de la mañana , mi esposa y yo pensamos  hacer una combinación de un nombre devociónal y otro normal , Podría ser Damodar André a usted que le párese? , alguna sugerencia que nos pueda hacer acerca del nombre o cualquier   otra ? , le pedimos su misericordia sin causa para  nuestro  hijo.

Dearest Esteemed Guru Maharaj,

Please accept my most humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

A few days ago it dawned on me that I was postponing my service to Krsna. I kept making promises to him that once I have a permanent assistant professorship job, I will start a preaching center or temple in whichever city or town I am in. But then I realized, that I cannot postpone it. My greatest fault is postponing the important tasks, paying useless attention to meaningless issues, mismanaging my priorities, and most importantly I lack time (and money) management. Time management, especially or particularly in my sadhana and money management in terms of not wasting money in material things and using money to serve Krsna. Instead of setting aside time for japa, kirtan, reading Prabhupada's books, engaging in the tasks which will liberate me, I focus on the temporary only. And the reason for this is my attachment to fulfillment of my desires. I am so attached egoistically to certain perceptions of me and others' perception of me, that I give all my mind's attention to only this, instead of internal development. Most of my time I complain to God...you have given that devotee this or you have given this karmi that much. Why have you not given it to me? It is hard for me to accept that the Lord has given me exactly what I need. Bitter medicine to the ears for me, but a truth I have to learn to accept. I compare myself to others and complain. This is where I waste my time. I was highly inspired by your words: "Life is like a Battle of Kuruksetra. May die at any moment, but that is not our concern. Our concern is to fight from our assigned position and accept what Krsna arranges." This has motivated me to give up my time wasting complaining, and to just serve the Lord with what I have, from the position I am in. However, it is easier said than done, especially for a lazy lethargic like me. Before I can start preaching, I need to cultivate internal spiritual depth. I need to get the association and blessings of the Vaisnavas. At least I can start from there. That is something my mind can easily accept. I can start from inviting Vaisnavas into my house and holding kirtan and bhajan sessions at my house. However, I don't want to procrastinate...I don't want to just leave it to the future. It must start now. Maybe a New Year's resolution. I contemplate on where my life is going, where I will live, what I will do, who I will be with. But wherever or whatever it may be, I know I want my Guru, my parents, and Vaisnavas to be a part of it. I want them to come to my house and stay so that I may wash their feet, serve them, and take their blessings. I want to have a temple in my house in the main living room where I would offer arati and puja every morning and evening before and after work. I know this is the life I want, no matter whom I marry, where I work, what my profession is, or where I live. Writing to your blog Guru Maharaj is like a personal journal to Krishna that opens your heart to guru and Krishna.

HpS - Yeah!   Good idea!       Of course, one of the best ways to cultivate the internal development is to act in KC externally. Chanting with the Jaw and Paws will change the heart.

Is there anyone you can invite to your house for KC activities???!!!  Of course, even Pantheistc ideas are the first step. Get a cow, keep it in your apartment and invite people to come and feed it straw!
