Hare Krishna dear Guru Maharaja

Please accept my humble obeisances. All Glories to Srila Prabhupada! 

I'm happy to write you. We are trying to participate in FMP and chanting rounds at the morning. I'm giving classes of Bhagavad Gita in Wilson temple twice a month.We are going through one verse after another. We are in chapter five. 

My father has a store of organic and natural products. I'm working on the area of health and integral culture dissemination. Recently, we have edited our first magazine with basic ayurveda articles and recommendations for a healthy lifestyle. We are trying to develop the goodness in the people. My eldest daughter, Bhaktin Rukmini, is helping in the magazine edition.

HpS - Jaya!    Abhirama Das has Cultural Organization called Sattva. Maybe he can work with you?

We are trying to study in association with devotees, sharing realizations. Please Guru Maharaja, I beg for your mercy and blessings to better serve Krishna through my work and preach activities.

URGENT: SATTVA REPORT

ABOUT THE EDITION OF SOLARIS No. 2

SOLARIS dedicates its first issue to address the theme of PSYCHOLOGY AND THE SACRED, in these articles we analyze from different approaches, how to contribute to better understand who we are and to substantively help mental health, balance and harmony.

Now for this 2nd issue we are deepening these contents and starting to address the field of ART AND SACRED that will be the central theme of the Mega-event in Peru for June 2018.

 For this Solaris No 2 we already have articles from Spain (Claudio Naranjo), from Mexico (Dolores Chávez) from Peru (Juan Dejo, Ramón Mujica, Victor Krebs, Miguel Polo, Héctor Béjar and Erick Devoto) and US (HpS and Beverly Zabriesky), of Argentina we hope to have the photographs of Ambarisa and Vrisabhanu and an interview with the outstanding Dr. Cubana, Hilda Molina.

In this sense, we humbly ask for your collaboration to all the devotees and friends who have poems or some short stories (everything has to be unpublished) whose content is binding with the issues of the magazine, the maximum deadline is Tuesday May 16.

Thank you very much at m. Sananda and p. Bhadra of Spain, to the mother Lalita-gopi of Mexico, p. Ambarisa and m. Vrisabhanu from Argentina, Rodrigo, p. Arjuna of Chile, who have contributed importantly to obtain some articles and photos, also in a special way to m. Kamalangui (wife of Arjuna) and m. Karuna mayi and Sita lalita (Wife and daughter of Anandamaya p.) Who are doing the illustrations and vignettes for the layout of the magazine.

Pending Points:

1.- We are publishing greetings from personalities congratulating the appearance of the magazine, here in Peru we already have BNP, CONCYTEC, Congress of the Republic and some deans, also the ambassador of India will write a greeting. From USA we could get some greetings, maybe from Houston or Boise? Also from Dr. Samaresh or someone from India. In Spain, Chile, Mexico and Argentina are also doing this management.

HpS - We will forward this to Dr. Samaresh.

2.- Could you please write a few words (10-15 lines) about the importance of ART and SACRED. (We already have a good one of Claudio Naranjo and this to deliver Ramon and Beverley)

3.- Radhika Raman p. Made a very good impression among academics attending the event last year, it is possible that he writes something short (1/2 page) Greeting Solaris and showing his expectations about ART AND THE SACRED.

ASA - Your work is super!  Thank you. Is Miguel Polo acting as Editor for Solaris?  It should also have a list of the Editorial Board, What is NIOS. We still haven't got any proposed budget for the event! Right now don't count on anything from NIOS beyond maybe $200!

URGENTE: INFORME DE SATTVA

SOBRE LA EDICIÓN DE SOLARIS No. 2

SOLARIS dedico su primer número a abordar el tema de LA PSICOLOGÍA Y LO SAGRADO, en esos artículos analizamos desde diferentes enfoques, cómo contribuir a entender mejor quiénes somos y ayudar sustantivamente a la salud mental, el equilibrio y la armonía.

Ahora para este 2do número estamos profundizando estos contenidos y empezando a abordar el campo de EL ARTE Y LO SAGRADO que será el tema central del Mega-evento en El Perú para junio de 2018.

Para este Solaris No 2 ya tenemos artículos de España (Claudio Naranjo), de México (Dolores Chávez) de Perú (Juan Dejo, Ramón Mujica, Víctor Krebs, Miguel Polo, Héctor Béjar y Erick Devoto), y de USA (HpS y Beverly Zabriesky), de Argentina esperamos contar con las fotografías de Ambarisa y Vrisabhanu y una entrevista con la destacada Dra. Cubana Hilda Molina.

En este sentido, humildemente le pedimos su colaboración a todos los devotos y amigos que tengan poemas o algunas historias breves (todo tiene que ser inédito) cuyo contenido es vinculante con los temas de la revista, el plazo de entrega máximo es el martes 16 de mayo.

Agradecemos mucho a la m. Sananda y p. Bhadra de España, a la madre Lalita-gopi de México, a p. Ambarisa y m. Vrisabhanu de Argentina, a Rodrigo, p. Arjuna de Chile quienes han contribuido de manera importante para la obtención de algunos artículos y fotos, también de manera especial a m. Kamalangui (esposa de p. Arjuna) y a la m. Karuna mayi y Sita lalita (Esposa e hija de p. Anandamaya) que están haciendo las ilustraciones y viñetas para la diagramación de la revista.

Puntos pendientes:

1.- Estamos publicando saludos de personalidades felicitando la aparición de la revista, aquí en Perú ya tenemos de la BNP, del CONCYTEC, del Congreso de la Republica y algunos decanos, también el embajador de India va a escribir un saludo, de USA podríamos obtener algunos saludos, tal vez de ¿Houston o Boise? También del Dr. Samaresh o alguien de India. En España, Chile, México y Argentina están haciendo también esa gestión.

2.- Por favor podría usted escribir unas breves palabras (10 a 15 renglones) acerca de la importancia del ARTE y LO SAGRADO. (ya tenemos uno buena de Claudio Naranjo y está por entregar Ramón y Beverley)

3.- Radhika Raman p. causo muy buena impresión entre los académicos asistentes al evento el año pasado, es posible que el escriba algo breve (1/2 ó 1 pagina) Saludando a SOLARIS y hablando acerca de sus expectativas sobre EL ARTE Y LO SAGRADO.

Gurudeva ha pasado mucho tiempo desde la ultima vez que le escribí,

ASA - Si, estamos pensando en que ha pasado con Vd!!

. . . lamento no haberle escrito antes pero siento mucha verguenza con usted por todas las cosas que han sucedido y en vez de avanzar voy para atras.

ASA - O.K. Pero luchando, no?   Puede escribir de sus luchas. E.g. "Maharaja estoy fumando pero manteniendo no fumar antes de 11AM".
 

Empezare por decirle que YO PERDI a los bebes que estaba esperando.

ASA - Ooooh!   Que lastima.    Pero Krsna esta en carga de cosas. Especialmente para devotos.  Posible fueron Yogis con solamente poco mas Karma y Krsna puede hacer esta arregla ser tomando Prasadam de su sangre y despues!   Ha ido a mejor sitio que Peru!

Desde diciembre del año pasado hablamos con Amala karuna despues de meses que no hablabamos para arreglar algo, pero es muy difícil ,ya no se puede, yo le hice muchas cosas.

Desde enero de este año vivo donde Amala o con el ??? me consiguió un lugar donde el vive, porque el lugar donde estaba yo ,era una cantina y me desórdene mucho.

Al principio nos levantamos temprano y cantábamos rondas luego ya no, así que los principios no se cumplian.

Leímos el Bhagavad Gita juntos por las noches ya terminamos y ahora estamos leyendo el Srimad Bhagavatam canto 1 capitulo 3,hemos aprendido versos .....yo he leído el Mahabharata, Sri Prema Bhakti Candrika, El terraplén de la separación y el Upadesamrta.

La vida ha transcurrido como una vida normal de familia ,aunque ya no lo somos,tomamos prasada juntos realizamos ekadasi,y yo la verdad cocino para todos porque ya es costumbre y por la asociación.

Ahora tratando de empezar de nuevo estoy levantandome a las 4:10 para ofeecer incienso y cantar rondas .
Tenemos una Tulasi y esta creciendo bien espero la misericordia y que siga asi.
Usted sabra que al templo no puedo entrar ,estuve yendo a Vrinda pero deje de ir, la verdad es que me di cuenta que no deseo ver a nadie y bueno Amala es mi mejor asociación ,me devolvió el gusto por las Rondas y la lectura,pido su bendición Gurudeva para poder seguir asi y no volver atras.
Estoy con mi hijo ,colecto con pan y trato de predicarle todo lo que puedo y que esta a mi alcance, darle prasadam etc,pero yo tengo aun mis apegos la coca cola,los chocolates y la musica,las películas, pero desde que empeze a leer ,deje de ver televisión, es que casi todo el tiempo que se puede Amala y yo leemos y hablamos mucho.
Gurudeva eso es lo que le puedo decir hasta ahora.

Se que no he hecho ni hago nada de lo que son sus ininstrucciones y aun asi me atrevo a pedirle que me de sus bendiciones para poder seguir así refugiada en la lectura y las rondas ....

Gurudeva ya no se si Krshna tenga algo preparado para mi,solo canto porque se es lo correcto y prefiero dejar que todo pase como tenga que pasar sin hacer planes.

Querido Guru Maharaja, le escribo para informarle con tristeza la partida de un devoto en Guadalajara, Hari Vamsa Prabhu, quién fuese mi Siksa Guru, pues por su amable invitación comence a vivir en Nueva Nilacala Mandir, y fue así como por la Gracias de Srila Prabhupada pude conocerle a Ud. tenía un cancer avanzado (lo cual mantuvo en discreción absoluta), su partida fue cerca de las 2pm, rodeado de devotos cantando Hare Krsna tuve la fortuna de ponerle su última guirnalda, tulsi y kanti malas. Una vez más me pone Krishna como sirviente de ceremonia funebre. Como ud me ha dicho es parte de mi karma hablar con fantasmas... lo vi bailando durante el kirtan que hicimos en su funeral. Le suplico ore a Sri Jagannantha y Srila Prabhupada por el bienestar de su alma. Sentí la obligación de avisarle, pues se que Ud. apreciaba su servicio, estuvieron en su ceremonia como 10 jovenes, a quienes actualmente les predicaba. Agradecido eternamente con Ud.

No we are not living on New Govardhan plantation. In October last year we took a mortgage on a house in Murwillumbah, 10 min drive from ISKCON. Snakes are currently looking for places to hide for their winter snooze. No, no catering at festivals. I'm studying computer science part-time, painting houses part-time and renovating our house in my spare time.

HpS - Thank you!     We are still working on this!!   Is a challenge. If we go round the world it will be $2,000+.  So we are looking at Houston - India (Australia) round trip. Then later Boise (Hawaii) round trip.  We will let you know any progress!!

Plans for your visit proceeding.

**Home program at Govinda Priya Matajis and Shankaranand's in Sacramento planned for 6:30 pm Wed June 7th. (most will arrive at 7:30 pm) This will most likely be the best attended program.

**Home Program being planned for Radha-Gopinatha's home Thurs June 8th.

**Question re. June 8th:   I'm thinking there may be some who would like to have more "personal" and less-structured access to you during the daytime on the 8th.  I can word the Thursday the 8th. invitation as:   "Open House" from, say, 1 pm--ending with a program beginning at 6:30 pm  (most will arrive at 7:30 pm).   Or, it can be only from 1 pm to 6 pm, with no closing program Thurs. evening. What do prefer/  Your wishes?

**Most devotees here are householders.  Home programs during weekdays are generally poorly attended or begin late, with taking prasadam around 9:30 or 10 pm typical.  Hoping your visit will be an exception to this.  We will invite, Krsna will arrange.  Your visit may end up being mostly a working/resting trip.

**What are your current dietary requirements i.e  what do you wish to take and what time do you wish to take it?

**Or should I contact someone else to obtain this information?

**If it should be that programs don't actually begin until 7:30 pm, will that be too late for you?  If so, what beginning  time for the evening programs would you like me to list?

**Any other instructions, requirements, ideas or wishes Maharaja?

He will be presenting programs on Education in ISKCON, very dynamic and successful programs with Universities, National Museum of Peru and India on Psychology and the Sacred and generally anything you want to discuss about Krsna.
