First the bad news.

I didn't want to do it  publicly but I feel compelled to inform that the final agreement of the NIMSAR  board was to not use the name NIMSAR or resurrect the institution unless all the former members of the board, or the mayority, agree to re open the program.

M. Yugala insists in using the name NIMSAR for her own program without authorization. Some former member are confused due to this atittude.

ASA Buck White  -- Was this decision published in the Blog?  Do you have the Blog posting or a copy of this resolution from you Resolution book? If not then it is not legally binding. 'O'ink!

I'm sorry but I had to do this in public because she is doing it also and that is creating misundertadings. But due that you are the head of ASA, I guess it's up to you accept M. Yugala iniciative to re-open NIMSAR without us.

ASA Buck White - It is the perogotive of the SUAC. Oink!   Oink!  Grunt, but we just answered her letter and mother Isvari DD.

Now, the good news.

ASA - That was pretty good!

We had this nice meeting with prabhus Mathures and Karuna Krishna about management issues on Education in Perú. 

First point, that we considered important, was the designation of a coordinator in the area. We agreed that the right person was P. Karuna. So that'll be afficial in the next National Junta meeting. Several points to clarify. Jurisdictions, teachers, mandatory courses, seminars, etc. But the first step is done. 

The other detail is the examiner and manager for BS and BVB. I ,along with some other people, are helping out. M. Candra m. M. Isvari.

ASA - Well, why not include The Great Social Communicator, YkD?   Of course, we have people that we respect but with whom we can only work at a distance eg. Radha loves Candraval (at a distance).

We stressed the idea that there are people that are already following BS and need to be certify in some point. We mention that for now we are willing to help in the formal courses required for devotees. Bhakta course and BS, and BVB if we might. Something else can be done later on. 

We presented ourselves as members of ASA, because we work under your guidace and work with your educative material TPP, etc. (M. CandraM, M. Isvari, myself and some others). But We have to clarify our administrative relationship with ASA. I'm not sure if we may be exactly a branch or something more open like ASA México or ASA Chile.

ASA - We do not have official Branches, (we discussed this nicely this morning also, no?) in Mexico or Chile, but someone can be a congregational member of ISKCON, Life Member, so one can say he is a member of ASA if he just keeps his ideas here in the Blog but not a Member ('member', 'Member'). O.K?

One important point is that P. Karuna will be the one who consider and coordinate the other educational iniciatives so we can work in unity in diversity.

ASA - Then we are working with ISKCON Peru.  Very nice. ASA can have a friendhip club.

P. Mathures is working hard trying to get things organize in several areas. In education, I'll be helping P. Karuna but not like in a official post, otherwise some of my friends in the JN will freak out.

Another point that I forgot to bring was the coordination with the MOE. I think we can do it when things are more clear.

ASA - We discussed that this relationship with ISKCON Ministry of Education, (MOE) can develop during the Seattle Symposium and and that you will contact Jagad guru Das about involving people as representative of HpS, Member of the Executive Committe of MOE. Informal thing at this point.

We can talk more about details during our MEM (Mondays Educational Meetings).

 Querido Guru Maharaja,  leí la carta de la propuesta de madre Isvari. Es similar a lo que enviamos, la idea de trabajar por áreas se la propuse a la madre Isvari al inicio de la reactivación de NIMSAR,  pero el silencio la falta de comunicación que surgió después no fue favorable, si es que se piensa servir de forma cooperativa, armónica la consideración por cada uno de los miembros es vital. Recuerdo que en la universidad de comunicaciones, hasta el portero debía estar muy informado e identificado con su grupo de trabajo, sentirse apreciado, parte de....pero si simplemente vamos a querer competir por estar en el cargo, en el nombramiento e ignorar los deseos y aspiraciones de los otros miembros, no estamos haciendo gran avance. Y todo tarde o temprano puede venirse abajo.

In your Branch affiliation proposal you would be the President but who are the Secretary and Treasurer. Official correspondences should be from the Sectetary.

These are formalities. They are like the public dealings of the Gopis in Braja. Behind that is their circle of friends and behind that is their uique direct experience of their personal relationship with Krsna.

Who are the Secretary and Treasurer for your Branch?

We would strongly suggest man for President.

Gracias a la misericordia de Srila Prabhupada pude encontrar a mi maestro espiritual y estudiar Bhakti Sastri y Bhakti Bhaivabha, esa santa asociación es un regalo invaluable que no podré pagar nunca, por ello, tratando de retribuir de alguna manera el esfuerzo de S. S Hanumatpresaka Swami, mi maestro espiritual, que por tantos años viene apoyando a la educación de ISKCON en nuestro país y a nivel mundial, muy humildemente deseo coordinar la reactivación de NIMSAR, Institución educativa al servicio de ISKCON.

Respuesta de Hanumatpresaka Swami sobre reactivar NIMSAR:

 “En términos de Nimsar, si quiere presentar Vds. como rama de ASA, necesitamos bastante organización antes de recibir aprobación de Tío Gismo, Tom Brown y Buck White y el Comando Ejecutiva! Eligiendo de Presidente, Secretario, Tesorero, normas de función y aprobación de Junto Nacional si es para todo de Perú. Claro es bueno hablar con Mathuresa Das acerca de estas asuntos, No?”

7 Propósitos de ISKCON

1) Propagar sistemáticamente el conocimiento espiritual en toda la sociedad, y educar a la gente en las técnicas de la vida espiritual, para detener el desequilibrio de valores de la vida, y alcanzar la unidad y la paz verdaderas en el mundo.

2) Propagar la conciencia de Krishna, tal como está revelada en el Bhagavad-gita y el Srimad Bhagavatam.

3) Reunir a los miembros de la Asociación entre si y acercarlos a Krishna, la entidad primordial, y así, desarrollar la idea entre los miembros y la humanidad en general, de que cada alma es parte integrante de la naturaleza de Dios (Krishna).

OBJETIVOS

Objetivos Primarios:

• Educar en el conocimiento sástrico a las personas basado en las enseñanzas de los libros de Srila Prabhupada.
• Apoyar en el área educativa a templos, los centros culturales y nama hathas
• Formar un comité de devotos educadores en ISKCON Lima - Perú.
• Continuar con la labor de NIMSAR, institución Fundada gracias al esfuerzo de Hanumatpresaka Swami discípulo de A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada.

Objetivos secundarios NIMSAR:

• Cursos, seminarios, talleres, conversatorios a devotos y personas interesadas.
• Censo de educadores o personas interesadas en temas educativos.
• Permanente capacitación para educadores.
• Análisis y discusión de temas relacionados a la educación en ISKCON Perú.
• Búsqueda de solución a problemas de corto, mediano y largo plazo en la educación de ISKCON Perú a través de la identificación del problema y la propuesta de soluciones posibles.

Dirigido a hijos de devotos y a público en general.

Gratuita. Donación de 5 soles al mes para hoja de aplicación y ofrenda de frutas.

NORMAS DE FUNCIÓN:

• NIMSAR es una institución educativa que busca ser autorizada por ISKCON Perú, y busca ser una rama de ASA (Anjana Suta Academy - Hanumatpresaka Swami) cuyo GBC es Tamohara Prabhu.
• Las reuniones de la Junta directiva serán mensuales  cada primer Dvadasi del mes.
• Los informes al miembro principal de NIMSAR, a S. S. Hanumatpresaka Swami, nuestro guía será una semana después de la reunión del directorio. Y cada vez que visite Perú, nos reuniremos presencialmente.
• Los informes escritos a Junta Nacional de ISKCON Perú serán cuatrimestralmente, el último día del mes.
• Los informes escritos a templos o centro cultural  serán cuatrimestralmente, el último día del mes. Y reuniones presenciales según lo requieran las autoridades.
• Todas las actividades de NIMSAR se calendarizarán entre Enero – Febrero, a fin de marzo se presenta el primer informe a nuestras autoridades.
• Al término del año se evaluará la labor anual y se emitirá el informe final a las autoridades.
• Actividades permanentes: Pada Yatra (Julio) y uno o dos veces al año conversatorios de educación. Bhakti Sastri, Pada Padma, cursos, talleres, seminarios, clases de Bhagavad Gita y Srimad Bhagavatam. Escuela dominical en Chosica.
• La duración de la Junta directiva será rotativa entre los miembros del directorio con voto  y por un periodo de un año terminando su periodo a finales de marzo de cada año.
• Llega a ser miembros del directorio votantes, la persona que comprometida y asiste a las reuniones y presenta sus informes.
• Los miembros del comité educativo tienen un grado de compromiso parcial y apoyan en sus áreas de interés a la que se han comprometido.
• Cada miembro del comité educativo votante aporta mensualmente una donación mínima de 10 nuevos soles para gastos administrativos básicos y el resto es opcional.

JUNTA DIRECTIVA:

Presidente:
 

1 -Tener la representación de la Asamblea General. 
 

2.-Representar legal y formalmente a la Asociación y tener voto de calidad.
 

3.-Organizar y presentar un plan de trabajo general a ASA y a las autoridades de los templos, enumerar los resultados requeridos dentro del objetivo general que se persigue.
 

4.-Presidir las Asambleas Generales.
 

5.-Estructurar y presentar los informes periódicos y anuales al Consejo Directivo o a la Asamblea General.
 

6.-Coordinar e impulsar las actividades del Consejo Directivo y de la Asociación. 
 

7.-Ejercer en la consecución de fondos económicos para la Asociación.
 

Vicepresidente: (Puede ser el tesorero o el secretario)
 

1.-Sustituir al Presidente en sus faltas temporales o definitivas.
 

2.-Coordinar con el Presidente las actividades de NIMSAR.
 

3.-Mantener un constante conocimiento de las operaciones y funciones que realice NIMSAR

4.-Participar en todas las funciones de planeación a corto, mediano y largo plazo,
 

Involucrándose integralmente en ellas.
 

5.-Colaborar con la consecución de fondos económicos para NIMSAR.
 

Secretario:
 

1 .- Encargarse de la correspondencia y archivos de la Asociación.
 

2.- Coordinar junto con la Junta directiva y los profesores el inicio, duración de los        programas educativos e informar, publicitar y difundirlos.

3.- Elaborar un archivo de profesores con sus alumnos y censo de los miembros de ISKCON, público en general y posibles estudiantes.

4.- Tener a su cuidado los asuntos jurídicos de la institución, así como la coordinación estructural de la misma, en colaboración con la Junta Directiva.
 

5.- Levantar las actas en un libro registrado legalmente.
 

6.- Colaborar con la difusión de las Asambleas Generales.
 

7.- Colaborar en la coordinación de las Asambleas Generales.
 

Tesorero:
 

1.- Llevar la contabilidad de la NIMSAR y manejar sus fondos.
 

2.- Recolectar las cuotas y donativos.
 

3.- Elaborar un plan de trabajo para la consecución de fondos económicos, previa aprobación del Consejo Directivo y ratificación de la Asamblea General.
 

4.- Presentar cuatrimestralmente un informe económico. Rendir un informe anual del estado financiero de la Asociación, o cuando lo solicite un mínimo de 5 profesores.

5.- Tener censados a todos los miembros de ISKCON y personas interesadas en llevar los cursos.

REGLAMENTO INTERNO DE NIMSAR

• El Directorio se apoya en la Junta de Consejo cuyo miembro principal es Humatpresaka Swami
• El Directorio de NIMSAR aprueba los miembros del propio Directorio, Junta de Consejo y Colaboradores.
• El Directorio nombra a la Junta Directiva.
• La Junta Directiva la conforman: Presidente, Secretario y Tesorero.
• Si un miembro del Directorio se ausenta de las reuniones por tres veces, sin justificación razonable, puede perder su derecho a ser miembro del Directorio.
• Nadie defenderá sus opiniones apoyándose en su status o posición.
• Valoraremos toda contribución estemos o no de acuerdo con ella.
• Mantendremos confidencialidad de los acuerdos pactados.
• Cada uno de nosotros respetará cualquier acuerdo que se tome.
• Si un miembro del Directorio se comporta de manera inapropiada es primero sancionado de manera oral, a la segunda oportunidad de manera escrita y a la tercera oportunidad puede perder su derecho a ser miembro del Directorio.
• Todas las decisiones las toma el Directorio de preferencia por consenso. Si no se llega a un consenso, se realiza una votación y se toma la decisión por mayoría simple.
• Nadie puede enviar ninguna comunicación, hacer un trato, aceptar u organizar un programa a nombre de NIMSAR sin la autorización del Directorio.
• Todos los acuerdos, directivas o resoluciones tienen que estar en las Actas de las reuniones. Estas actas serán firmadas por todos los miembros y deben de estar a disposición de todos para su consulta. Ningún miembro puede actuar en nombre de NIMSAR si no está establecido en las Actas.
• El Directorio establece la misión y visión de NIMSAR, su filosofía educativa y todos los asuntos legales ante ISKCON y el Estado.
• La cooperación y la comunicación son la base de todas las acciones de NIMSAR.

APROBACIÓN DE AUTORIDADES.

• Enviamos este mismo primer informe sobre la propuesta educativa NIMSAR a Junta de Chosica Mandir, Wilson Mandir y a Junta Nacional. Y mantenemos comunicación con ambas autoridades, previamente planteamos esta propuesta oralmente y las autoridades estas desean apoyar, reaccionaron favorablemente.
• Este 21 de Mayo tendremos nuestra primera conversación personal con P. Mathuresa a quien le escribimos ni bien hablamos con Ud. de nuestra propuesta de Reactivar NIMSAR.

Our Mission (from Preface of NOI) is to qualifiy ourselves to help Lord Caitanya in His mission of giving the science of Krsna to humanity (an animality) at large by studying the literature left by the six Goswamis. NOI constitutes first instructions.

Branches must have a President (and Vice-Presidents with different areas if desired), a Secretary and a Treasurer. Secretary must post a Report regularly in the Blog (every fortnight can be good). Then we can work out details.

Thanks to Srila Prabhupada’s mercy, I could meet my spiritual master and study Bhakti Sastri and Bhakti Vaibhava. That saint association is an invaluable gift that I will never be able to afford. Therefore, trying to reciprocate in some way the effort of H.H. Hanumatpresaka Swami, my spiritual master, who for many years has been supporting to ISKCON education in our country and worldwide, I very humbly wish to coordinate the reactivation of NIMSAR, Educational Institution at the service of ISKCON.

Reply from Hanumatpresaka Swami about reactivating NIMSAR:

 “In terms of NIMSA, if you want to present yourself as an ASA branch, we need a good deal of organization before receive the approval from Tío Gismo, Tom Brown and Buck White and the Executive Command! Electing of President, Secretary, Treasurer, norms of function and the approval of the National Board if it is for all Peru. Of course, it’s good to talk with Mathuresa Dasa about these matters, right?”

Seven Purposes of ISKCON:

1. To systematically propagate spiritual knowledge to society at large and to educate all people in the techniques of spiritual life in order to check the imbalance of values in life and to achieve real unity and peace in the world.
2. To propagate a consciousness of Krishna (God), as it is revealed in the great scriptures of India, Bhagavad-gita and Srimad-Bhagavatam.

OBJECTIVES

Primary Objectives:

• Educate people on sastric knowledge base don the teachings of Srila Prabhupada’s books.
• Support in the educational area to temples, cultural centers and nama hathas.
• To form a committee of devotees educators in ISKCON Lima-Peru.
• Continue with the labour of NIMSAR, Institution founded thanks to the effort of Hanumatpresaka Swami, disciple of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada.

Secondary Objectives NIMSAR:

• Courses, seminars, workshops, conversations with devotees and interested people.
• Census of educators or interested people in educational issues.
• Permanente training for educators.
• Analysis and discussion of issues related to education in ISKCON Peru.
• Search for solutions to short, medium and long term problemsin ISKCON Peru’s education through the identification of the problem and the proposal of possible solutions.

The first six Cantos of Srimad Bhagavatam. Universitary Level. 

FIRST MODULE: PADA PADMA (The first two Cantos of SB) Duration: a year. Cost: 60 soles per month.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Chosica Mandir

Children between 3 and 12 years old. Aimed to the children of devotees and general public.

Free. Donation of 5 soles per month for application sheet and fruit offering.

NORMS OF FUNCTION:

• NIMSAR is an educational institution that seeks to be authorized by ISKCON Perú, and seeks to be an ASA branch (Anjana Suta Academy - Hanumatpresaka Swami) whose GBC is Tamohara Prabhu.
• Meetings of the Board of Directors will be monthly, every first Dvadasi of the month.
• Reports to the NIMSAR lead member, H.H Hanumatpresaka Swami, our guide, will be one week after the board meeting. And every time he visit Peru, we will meet “face-to-face”.
• The written reports to the National Board of ISKCON Peru will be four-monthly, the last day of the month.
• Reports written to temples or cultural centers will be four-monthly, the last day of the month. And “face-to-face” meetings will be as required by the authorities.
• All NIMSAR activities will be scheduled between January and February; at the end of March the first report is presented to our authorities.
• At the end of the year, the annual work will be evaluated and the final report will be issued to the authorities.
• Permanent activities: Pada Yatra (July) and once and twice a year educational conversations. Bhakti Sastri, Pada Padma, courses, workshops, seminars, clases of Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam. Sunday school in Chosica.
• The duration of the Board of Directors shall be rotating among the members of the board of directors by voting and for a period of one year, finishing his/her period at the end of March of each year.
• Becomes member of the Voting Board, the person who engages and attends the meetings and submits their reports.
• The members of the Educational Committee have a degree of partial commitment and support in their areas of interest to which they have committed.
• Each member of the Voting Educational Committe provides a minimum monthly donation of 10 soles for basic administrative expenses and the rest is optional.

3. Organize and present a comprehensive work plan to ASA and temple authorities, listing the results required within the overall goal pursued.

5. To structure and submit periodic and annual reports to the Directing Council or the General Assembly.
6. Coordinate and promote the activities of the Board of Directors and the Association.
    
7. Exercise in the achievement of economic funds for the Association.
    

Vice-president: (Can be the treasurer or the secretary)
 

1. Replace the President in his temporary or final absences.
    
2. Coordinate with the President the activities of NIMSAR.
    
3. Maintain a constant knowledge of the operations and functions performed by NIMSAR
4. Participate in all the functions of planning in the short, medium and long term, involving themselves integrally in them.
    
5. Collaborate with the achievement of financial funds for NIMSAR.
    

Secretary:
 

1. To take charge of the correspondence and archives of the Association.
    
2. Coordinate together with the Board of Directors and teachers the start, duration of educational programs and inform, publicize and disseminate them.
3. To prepare a file of teachers with their students and census of the members of ISKCON, public in general and possible students.
4. To take care of the juridical matters of the institution, as well as the structural coordination of the same, in collaboration with the Board of Directors.
    
5. Record the minutes in a legally registered book.
    
6. Collaborate with the dissemination of the General Assemblies.
    
7. Collaborate in the coordination of the General Assemblies.
    

Treasurer:
 

1. Take NIMSAR accounting and manage its funds.

1. Collect dues and donations.

1. To elaborate a work plan for the obtaining of economic funds, previous approval of the Directing Council and ratification of the General Assembly.
    
2. Submit four-monthly an economic report. Produce an annual report of the financial status of the Association, or when is requested by a minimum of 5 teachers.

1. Have all members of ISKCON and people interested in taking the courses registered.

INTERNAL REGULATIONS OF NIMSAR:

• The Board relies on the Board of Directors whose main member is Humatpresaka Swami.
• The Board of NIMSAR approves the members of the Board, Board of Directors and Collaborators.
• The Board appoints the Board of Directors.
• The Board of Directors is composed by: President, Secretary and Treasurer.
• If a member of the Board is absent from meetings three times, without reasonable justification, he may lose his right to be a member of the Board of Directors.
• No one will defend their opinions based on their status or position.
• We will value all contributions whether we agree with it or not.
• We will keep the agreed agreements confidential.
• Each of us will respect any agreement we make.
• If a member of the Board behaves improperly will first orally sanctioned, the second opportunity will be in a writing way and at the third opportunity may lose their right to be a member of the Board.
• All the decisions are taken by the Board, preferably by consensus. If no consensus is reached, a vote is taken and the decision is taken by simple majority.
• No one can send any communication, make a deal, accept or organize a program on behalf of NIMSAR without the authorization of the Directory.
• All agreements, directives or resolutions must be in the minutes of the meetings. These minutes will be signed by all members and must be available to all for their consultation. No member can act on behalf of NIMSAR if it is not established in the Minutes.
• The Board establishes the mission and vision of NIMSAR, its educational philosophy and all legal matters before ISKCON and the State.
• Cooperation and communication are the bases of all NIMSAR actions.

APPROVAL OF AUTHORITES

• We sent this same first report about NIMSAR educational proposal to the Board of Chosica Mandir, Wilson Mandir and the National Board. And we maintain communication with both authorities, previously we raised this proposal orally and the authorities wish to support, they reacted favorably.
• This 21st May we will have our first personal conversation with P. Mathuresa, to whom we wrote as soon as we spoke with you of our proposal to reactivate NIMSAR.
