Thank you very much for the invitation to Lima for Art and the Sacred. We are truly honoured. After much consideration with my good wife Dhanesvari we are thrilled to inform you that we accept your invitation. We have purchased our tickets already. My wife, our two daughters and I will all be in Lima from approximately 9th - 29th October 2018. We are very much looking forward to meeting with you again and assisting with this grand event in anyway possible.

HpS - 'are Krsna, Mate!!!     AgtSP.    We just got back to Murfreesboro, our Base Camp, and things do seem to be sorting out. Had to pay the gardener, pay the smog tester, pay the auto registration, chase out the rat, pay the auto insurer, deposit the NIOS donations, pay-refuel our Body, Buddy .... Can The Dhanesvari Devi Dasi, Mother of Two, write to the Abhirama thakura Das and get you all into the Event Management Team?    I think you will find that there is a LOT of FUN work to do. You can even bring Primitive art from Australia.

A story.

This morning we drove to Brisbane. Passing us with great speed were two motorcycle riders who had thrown caution to the wind. Swerving in, around and through the array of vehicles moving in unison, it was like we were nothing but a stage for their selfish thrill seeking. The first rider to pass us was the alpha. He slowed to the legal speed in front of us then he sat up, lent to the side in a relaxed position and put his left hand on his thigh as if to say “65mph is my casual speed”. Arriving shortly after was the second rider who’s body language was timid and who appeared to be being pulled along by the influence of the first rider. Initially I was angry. How could they be so disrespectful to put the lives of myself and others in danger? After passing the fixed speed-camera check point they raced off weaving through the four lanes of traffic, putting all the weekend drivers on alert and on edge again. In watching this display I remained angry at them for a few moments until I realised that I do this also. In fact many of us do. If our commitment in life is “me” then everyone else around us, every other personality and object becomes the extras, the stage and the props for the “me  show”. Not only do we then need others for our “me show” we actually think it is our right to have them. The motorcycle riders disappeared from relevance and we proceeded to the Brisbane Jaganatha Ratha Yatra where thousands gathered to pull Jaganatha back to Vrindavan in time for the eternal Radha Krishna show.

ASA - Such an incredible story!     I remember some poetic lines coming on just that theme when I was stranded in the San Jose airport in Costa Rica for 5i-hours in transit. One young woman was walking back and forth with that kind of egoistic attitude, very well dressed.

But the bizarre thing is that when you acknowledge peoples false egos, they feel really flattered and then they are willing to listen to other comments!

Prabhupada says in like Canto One where M. Yuddhisthira is seeing ill omens, about Chapter 13 or 14, that when the asses run in herds striking the ground with their feet that feel very respectable, "We are the asses!".

I saw two biker guys like that waiting for the light to change in front of our Temple in San Jose, reving their engines, and saluted them and they saluted back, "Another guy you dresses and lives like he wants to live. Hare Krsna, Dude!".

Prabhupada: A demon does not have to be an extremely ugly person or someone with fangs or horns. He can be very handsome. A demon is someone who is concerned with his own sense gratification even at the expense of others.

1.       I am requesting information about the status of sales of SV series including the picture dictionary (Which the Goloka Trust now have as an asset in their portfolio)

2.       The status of the SV 2 publication – printing and distribution plan

4.       Plans for completion of SV Bk 3

5.       Overall plan for the future development, marketing and distribution of the materials.

I would suggest that in light of the responses to the above questions we might review the current status quo. Whatever will be best for the interest of all stakeholders, most importantly, the potential end users.

I have been going to contact the US Goloka Foundation for a long time, but unfortunately, my health had taken a turn for the worse and I had obvious other priorities. When I received the diagnosis I was Vice Principal of the New Govardhan School in Australia, in charge of the secondary college. Now I will perhaps focus on personal projects, tutoring and online development as I can no longer make long term commitments to school expectations.

Although they are keeping my position open I don’t see myself back in that role for a long time to come, if ever again. Therefore, I have a renewed interest to push the Sanskrit agenda and I have some channels to achieve some degree of success. I have had recent communications with the CEO of Avanti schools (before diagnosis)  as well as home schoolers in Australia who are still keen to take the resources. I am confident that other ISKCON Schools will be interested once we have a complete package for them to utilise (and they know it is available).

Let’s have another look at the IP and make a realistic decision on where it will best flourish and serve as many stakeholders as possible. It is no use if the resources simply gather dust in someone’s godown for the next 20 years. However, if the resources are moving and the projections look healthy then no need to change the status quo. That’s a decision that will be best taken by your core members in the Trust, whom I have full respect for and faith in your decision-making capacities. You are all much more experienced in number crunching than I will ever be and therefore I leave it in your capable hands.

Please get back as soon as possible as I have to begin a new chapter in my life. I am currently in Malaysia, 3 weeks into an Ayurvedic treatment for cancer and will be finished here in 2 weeks time. I will fly back to Melbourne and either start Chemo or remain solely on the Ayurvedic medicine depending on the progress of the tumour. Either way I will be anxious to get back into some form of livelihood, depending on Krishna’s master plan of course.

First please accept our humble obeisances and in general we have been talking about you and your good fortune. Lucky rascal!   Got notice of your transfer.  Probably end up being a classmate of Nimai in Nadia. Get milk sweets made by Mother Saci. Damn rascal!  Leaving all of us here in Tennessee.

In general, I and NIOS don't have much going with the Sanskrit initiative directly. We bought about 30 or the full sets a few years ago. We tried about three different schemes to get them moving, even translated the Teachers Guide into Spanish, but nothing systematic is happening. Krsna Culture in Texas continues to sell the few sets we have with them.

The Goloka Foundation is not doing anything yet. We are keeping it running as a place holder only and any work right now is being done through NIOS, which again is some beginning, though serious efforts by RGD and Mother Ambica.

They are using your system to some extent in Goswami School in Houston I think. Harilila Das will respond about that.

Personally I am always trying to develop systematic education based upon NOI. I have wanted for a long time for someone to develop a little Sanskrit education booklet that will be the same pocket size as the NOI.

Hari-venu had a little intro that helped me a lot.

I think there is a BIG difference between Sanskrit learning for old folks (above 7-years old) and kids who grow up with it. At 30-years or any age we can develop a Practical Knowledge, something we can use in our practices of investigation and preaching, but real fluency usually seems to have to start from childhood, no?

HpS - Situation with The Esteemed Tattva-vita Das.      Yes!    Is good to include guru, family, friends in these relations. They are very powerful and very, very dangerous. We can get damage that can last for a life time!!!   Also benefit in the same degree.

Sincerely, after know him for a couple of months, I felt in love with him. I would like to have a formal relationship with him. We made a lot of mistakes, as you know, about what we did and said, but now we want to do the things properly under a guidance. In the other hand, I won’t like to cause more disturbance to the family.

We talked with p. Abhirama, few days ago. P. Abhirama recommended him to travel abroad for a while.

I beg for your instructions and what you think is better for everyone in order to the advance of the spritual life and the service to Krishna.

Anybody who has you as a friend, daughter, wife, sister, mother, employee ...   is very lucky.   Just be careful.   We need a letter from Tattva with his ideas about this relationship.   Do you want to associate?   Exchange ideas, letters?   See each other at the Temple?  Is this all with the goal of entering Grhatha ashrama together!?

Please accept my humble obeisances unto Sri Guruji Maharaja’s padmacharan that  yestarday, Sunday the 29th April 2018 we three members went and participate Narasingha Jayanti at Imphal ISKCON Manimandir.

Morethan 300 prabhujis and matajis assembled at the closing function with arati then prasadam. The function started from the 28th morning upto evening of 29th. The function ended at 9.30 pm.

In all my letters, I did not used the word URGENT because all the information is not urgent. I have read Dr. Sarada D D's letter with Guruji's answer in the blog and saw the vedeo. In the Rasa-Lila the artist are seniors it will be better if boys and girls below 13 will be the suitable.

HpS - Yes, I also noticed that but it was still very good video. We showed it in Mexico and it has generated a lot of interest. We must fight Maya in the area of culture.

It is my simple observation. The Rasa Lilas performed by Sri Krsna and Gopis are all ages of below 13, it was mentioned clearly in Bhagavatam and other related books.

I want to know Guruji's opinion of publishing Srimad Bhagavat Gita As It Is of A.C. Prabhupada  translated by Partha Sarathi Das into Manipuri. Now I am doing the work of proofing from manuscript to printed book form.

HpS - I don't know how well Prabhuji has translated.  You can see that for yourself. If the translation is good then it sounds very nice. You can use it for a lot of teaching in Manipur. You can even take individual puports and distribute those according to time and circumstance.

You news is always URGENT but it is a sad fact that while traveling we are meeting dozens of people everyday who want to talk. When we go to Manipur we talk with all of you and only answer URGENT letters on this Blog.   It is so nice to hear from you. I think of Mani-mandir and Thoubal.   Of course, our body is exhausted after all this travel but at heart we seem to be stronger than ever and already improving. We will sit here for three months and then go to India in the Spring of next year.  More news in a two weeks!

HpS - ASA -- We saw a very good eye-doctor in Mexico and he gave us strong program of medication. They are about 40% better but still need improvement. We will see local doctor, devotee, friend here tonight.

. . . as a child I suffered a lot from the view the doctors say that you have to cure it immediately because it can cause damage. I trust that the super servant of Peru in Mexico solved that problem quickly. I thank you very much for all your association and inspiration to serve the devotees, we went to visit the son of Mother Ganga to the hospital, (reminds me of my father's health who is stable, but as dependent as a baby), I felt Very happy to see how Krsna is very protective of this young man who receives the unconditional love of his parents, we hope that he will improve very soon.

HpS - Our respects to Mataji and the family and we hope the situation is a very strong push for purification!

Definitely although astrology says that everything is adverse in this period, I believe that we can face the trials and obstacles in spiritual advancement and have a stable mind by just following their instructions, so we will not act stupid and we will be happy to serve in spite of everything.

HpS - Adverse astrology is bigger opportunity to serve.

Although Prabhupada arrived at a nice party of Mr. Nrsimha and even the devotees were not so aware of what that meant, now I feel more protected in his presence and a simple standard will be established and he will buy all the necessary paraphernalia, to serve him properly.

Thank you very much Gurudeva, thanks to you I am active and I see that our yatra will come out thanks to the reading of Prabhupada's books and study programs and projects. That a stage of rebirth be initiated in our yatra and in the international movement.

Como va su vista  Gurudeva, de niña sufrí mucho de la vista los médicos dicen que hay que curarla de inmediato pues puede generar daños. Confío que la super sirvienta de Perú en méxico solucionó ese problema velozmente. Le agradezco mucho por toda sus asociación y la inspiración para servir a los devotos, fuimos a visitar al hijo de madre Ganga al hospital, (me recuerda a la salud de mi padre que está estable, pero tan dependiente como un bebe), me sentí muy feliz de ver como Krsna protege mucho a este joven que recibe el amor incondicional de sus padres, confiamos que muy pronto mejorará.

Seguí sus instrucciones y me despertaré más temprano para cantar rondas completas antes de ir trabajo, así me siento más fuerte y con más ánimo de prédica, en mi trabajo como profesotra de secundaria y tutora de sexto de primaria tengo oportunidad de tocar temas de prédica indirecta, a veces hemos dejado un análisis de un fragmento de los libros de Srila Prabhupada, y cuando preguntan los jóvenes preguntas confidenciales podemos responder citandolos sastras, por ello estoy algo motivada, también estamos con Prabhu Karuna en su proyecto de del curso de Brasil en el área de educación, tal vez un dia no muy lejano tengamos un colegio para todos donde también se enseñen los libros de Srila Prabhupada, y se aprovechen sus instalaciones para eventos, cursos a dultos, simpatizantes, ojalá pronto.

Fianalmente,...  Si el Sr. desea salir, ¿Quién lo para?, el hijo de un devoto con ayuda de Municipalidad hará un 

Bonito festival con escenario, con stand variados, todo el día, quisimos alguna vez organizar algo asi pero el tiempo y distancia siempre es complicado, pero en la salida del harinama tendremos pada yatra este domingo con Bhakti Sundar Swami, y por ello pedimos sus bendiciones para que este programa sea un éxito, y así tal vez ser pueda hacer cada año, va a mejorar la imagen del templo y atraerá  a más devotos lugareños, ese es el plan. 

Definitivamente aunque la astrología diga que todo es adverso en este periodo, creo que podemos afrontar las pruebas y obstáculos en el avance espiritual y tener una mente estable por sólo seguir sus instrucciones, así no actuaremos como estúpidas y seremos felices sirviendo pese a todo. 

Aunque Prabhupada llegó en una bonita fiesta del Sr. Nrsimha y aun los devotos no estaban tan concientes de lo que eso significaba, ahora me siento más protegida en su presencia y se establecerá un estandar simple y comprará toda la parafernalia necesaria, para servirlo apropiadamente.

Muchas gracias Gurudeva, gracias a Ud. estoy activa y veo que nuestro yatra saldrá adelante gracias a la lectura de los libros de Prabhupada y programas de estudio y proyectos. Que se inicie una etapa de renacimiento en nuestro yatra y en el movimiento a nivel internacional.
