We, agtSP, are receiving requests for second initiation from several people to whom we have given 1st initiation.

This communication from ISKCON Houston is very nice.

"Maharaja! Hare Krishna! Please accept my obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. I pray all is well on your side.

I’m writing to let you know that we received an inquiry from your disciple ABC dd regarding a letter of recommendation for Brahmin initiation. We have sent her the criteria required for 2nd initiation of our temple standards. At this time she does not meet the requirements. It is up to you maharaja if you would like to give her second. Attached is the policy. Thank you - XYZ dd (ISKCON Houston)."

The Temple Standard is very nice.

Eg. Committed to doing service on Temple altar, fixed in first initiation standard, regular technical financial service.

Need, simple sane relationship with Temple service and administration et al.

Only thought that comes to our head is that 2nd iniation is often called "Brahmanical Initiation". In general Srila Prabhupada gives fantastic description in NOI 5, and we see that it is more Daivi Varna Ashrama Dharma.

In this age 1st initiation if sufficient, but if you are going to be serving as higher class Vaisya, administrator or Brahmin in ISKCON then it is important to become Dvija formally and observe the formalities.

Eg. Jayananda Das' ''brahmana thread'' was black from auromobile grease and he told me he had forgotten some of the Mantras, yet he was way, way, beyond second initiation standard.

The same applies in our thoughts about Bh. Sastri exam. Prabhupada said that it was not so necessary for Pujari's since it was a Sankirtan, preacher's, diploma and Pujari's had there won Sastra to learn.

Anyone we have given gayatri mantras to want to start giving second initiation?

We hear H. H. Haridasa Das in Manipur will start initiating formally in March.

That is very nice.

He has been a real, prominent, Siksa guru for so many people we initiatied there.

Also, Vana mali, Sadhu bhusana Das et al.

I see everyday the photos and videos that your disciples post on social media from Radha Kunda and I love it. I repost the material on the facebook and instagram account @anjana.suta.academy_chile 

I'm writing to you because I'm looking into my flight ticket. In the letter I sent you yesterday I mentioned the initiation and that it's necessary to wait a little longer, so the initiation ceremony is no longer within my objectives for which I want to visit you. I want to be with you once again so that I can serve you directly and support you in whatever you need and have some conversations with you that I will record and use this material to write and publish a book, as long as you are in agreement and available, this requires time and a little bit of your energy in form of words and thoughts.

I'm looking into the tickets and another option has occurred to me that I want to ask you about, because I think that another possibility could be that instead of going to Spain in November, I can go to the US in December when you return (or whenever you tell me), I can spend a month with you there to assist you in everything you need and take advantage of some time to recording some of our conversations that will become the book. For me it would be the best, a tremendous opportunity.

So I'm telling you this idea and desire that has arisen in me as a proposal, so depending on what you tell me and what you do prefer I will buy the ticket to the US (December or whenever you say) or to Madrid (November).

Whatever you prefer is fine to me, I don't want to bother you or inconvenience you, Gurudeva, I just want to be able to be with you one more time, serve you directly one more time and that we can do the book thing and I can also support you in your writing and translations and whatever you tell me, as long as this is useful and necessary for you, if it's not necessary, everything's fine, I'm at your disposal.

HpS - We, agtSP, are two steps from death.

The AQI has been 151 the last few days. So our vision, hearing, respiration etc have been 90% worse, but that is mercy of Radha-kunda.

I'm not sure of next breath, so Tomorrow, Spain, USA, are all like big fantasy stories to me.

They may happen, but I certainly cannot make materially detailed plans for me or you.

Hope other Bloggers can read your story and give more detailed advice.

You are definitely on the right path and making more progress than 99.999% of the world's common and elite population!!

Intentando cantar temprano sin FMS.

Nos cambiamos de un departamento a una casa. Mucho más amplia y con jardín; con flores y árboles frutales. Tenemos jugosas naranjas y almendras aún verdes.

Inauguramos con una reunión de devotos. Canto y prasadam.

Hoy finalizamos el último curso para discípulos del año. Los estudiantes del curso anterior, ya recibieron su certificado. Con Bhakti Sastri seguimos hasta diciembre.

Gurudev, solo quería escribirle para contarle que sigo viva. Los niños están bien y Jagannatha también.
