Si desea saber mas detalles para que ud sepa mas sobre como ayudarme as a diksa please let me know because its very important to me. You said to me that you can help me in many ways so please Gurudev help me in this way, thank you very much.

HpS - Jaya. AgtSP.    We will write simply so that translate.google.com can make a good translation. Thank you for the letter. We can ony help in limited ways. We are a small Jiva just like you, but we are trying to do something. For example, we maintain the full morning program on line, we work hard to answer mail in this Blog, we travel, we are pushing Ministry of Education in Latin America.

We don't have the ability to go into the details of many situations. Our basic advice is the advice that Chanakya Pandita gives: Victory comes from good advice and good advice comes from many counselors.

Then there is NOI 4 and 5 and 10 which give the basic and pretty extensive ideas about how to associate with different people. You have to apply these NOI principles to be happy and to be a good example for others. You can talk to the family based upon scripture, Prabhupada's words. If that does not work, then you can set a good example. Yad Yad acarati sresthas.

In the end everyone has free will, so the Papa, Mama, Hija... all have to make the decision that Arjuna made to give up the association of bad family members and take Krsna's association. It is dificult.

Many counselors.

We give general principles but you should talk with devotees, people, who know the family and then get advice from them how to proceed.   For example, real marriage is not marriage of two people. It marriage of two families.

Ain't that funny that www.liveuamap.com was full of traffic accidents.  You know, in new wars, attack could come from any side, terrorist (rogue) or anti-terror so called things of any nation, like Russia, #NATO#BERKUT#FAD#Maidan#euro MAIDAN akasha-plane.org #mtfs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ca-C3voZwpM

HpS - ASA - UG ---   Thank you. Such nice post!   We glanced at liveu... It is interesting. What you say is so true.  Back in the 1960s we came in contact with Prof. Marshall McLuhan. He has remained one of our central intellectual pillars. He was a historian of Media etc.  Get, "The Media is the Massage" by him and Quinten Fiore. It is incredible graphic experience. It is a booKartoOn-manual....

He said, the third world war will be a media war and there will be no distinction between civilians and military.

Hare Krsna Dear Gurudev,
Please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet.

HpS - AGTSP - paoho - We still have lettuce feet but make progress by the mercy of Guru and our infintesimal effort!

All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
All glories to Guru parampara.

Gurudev, you say "The regulative principles are not just something mechanical. We follow them because it makes Krsna happy."

Your above statement keeps me focused for what Krsna likes or dislikes. Your statement does not allow me to go against Krsna's happiness. It makes me to see things through your above statement and keep checking if Krsna will happy for this or that.

HpS - It is NOI 2, no? Avoiding Niyama-agraha.  Rupa Gosvami > Srila Prabhupada > HpS > GVDG Das > ...   Also, 'Anya abhilasita sunyam ....  anukulyena ..."

You are always there in my all spiritual activities, without you it was not possible in this life.

...Waiting for your next India schedule.

Thank you so much Gurudev.

your fallen servant,
Girivaradhari-Gopal Das

HpS - Write a poem about Radha-Krsna in Pune Temple....   We are also trying to fix the India schedule. Waiting for the Bhag bazaar Gaudiya Matha.

Hare Krsna, Mates,

AGTSP.

Paoho & bw.

We are trying this on the portable key board and using the Windows phone. We left the lap top in the Boro.

Works pretty good. Our eyes definitely seem to be recovering.

Kesava bharati Swami has the room next to us in the Sannyasis Palace here in ISKCON Houston and we are four minute walk from the Temple by the pathway behind the adjacent houses.

Hare Krsna, Hare Rama.

The desire to live is so strong. We get some kind of life, reciprocation from our senses. We serve them and they respond. We dip them in chili, salt, sugar and they respond. We don't know what it is like to offer chili, salt, sugar to Krsna's senses. Well we are beginning to appreciate it.

Do you cook for Krsna?

It is so important.

Even can offer fruit and milk and other Ekasasi preparations.

Can cook Kitri, peas porridge.

So easy to learn to bake cakes and use yogurt instead of eggs.

Make halavah.

You quickly see that you adopt cleanliness standards that you would not keep even for yourself and your family. You become quite aware that Krsna, Lord Nrsmhadeva has very sensitive senses and too much chili, black pepper, can really burn Him!

Then you can sing and dance for Krsna.

It is nice to have someone singing and dancing for you while you eat.

Enough.

Don't need to do anything else.

Chan Ting

Dan Sing

Ku King

for your Radha and Krsna.

Take your Jaya beads for a walk. See if you can meet nice people. Look at the people you meet. Offer them all that you have. Even if they want to kill you.

Lectures at Sri Govardhan

6 years, 10 months ago by bhaktanicasio in Sankirtana / Temple Activity Reports

Hare Krishna Gurudev,

Please accept my humble obeisances,

All Glories to Srila Prabhupada,

In a letter to mother Kirtida you say that is very important to discuss Srimad Bhagavatam in the morning.

During the week our Fmp is shorter to allow devotees attend the program and go to work.

Here there is a link to the lectures we give at our farm. They are short, between 20 and 25 mins. So devotees can download them and listen in the way to work. They are in Spanish.

Also in this channel there are the lectures you gave in your last visit (english with spanish translation).

I hope if of some use for the community.

Thank you Gurudev,

At your service,

Nikunja Bihari das.

HpS - The link did not come through properly. Yes, we have to learn to adjust our living, work, situation to complete the requirements for participating in this movement. Daily morning SB reading is a requirement. About 45-minutes is a wholesome length, but maybe somebody can only get 15-minutes at the Temple, but can read the current SB verses before Mangala Arati or hear something while in transit. So many way sto adjust. Do it! Become victorious.

Hare Krishna Gurudev,
Gracias Gurudev,
A su servicio,

Nikunja Bihari das.

Some questions

6 years, 10 months ago by bhaktanicasio in Special Category A

Hare Krishna Gurudev,

Please accept my humble obeisances,

All Glories to Srila Prabhupada,

Here goes a few questions,

In SB 2.10.36 purport, SP says that sometimes Brahma is Visnu himself. This statement confuses me a little bit cause i thought Brahma is a demigod a jiva tattva. Can you explain please?

HpS - Srila Prabhupada, the Acharyas, make this point several places. When there is no one qualified to be Brahma, then Krsna takes the job Himself. When there is no one capable of protecting the Brahmanas, children, old men and women in Kali yuga, then Krsna does the job Himself.

Then i remember you said that there is a mistake in a book ( NOD or NOI) where it says raganuga but it should say ragatmika. Where is that mistake? Do you remember?

ASA - We just looked it up. It is Chapter 15 - NOD. It has been changed in the English but not the Spanish!

The last one is about the lectures at our chapel. We are finishing second canto, and because you always quote 2.2.12 I suggested to begin again with the first canto. I´m in charge of organizing lectures. But a senior devotee said that we should continue with the third canto because that will enthuse devotees. So shall I insist in beginning again with first canto or i continue with third canto and i study pada padma at home?

Thank you Gurudev,

At your service,

Nikunja Bihari das.

HpS - Hmmm?     I would say it is nice to go over the first two cantos regularly. For example, Saturday morning might be dedicated to Cantos and Two when the public can be invited, but other days can deal with more advanced Cantos. Many times the devotees are following principles so they can appreciate more advanced topics. If there are a few people in the audience who are not then maybe Krsna helps them not be damaged by the advance topics.

We saw that when Srila Prabhupada gave lectures on parts of the SB that were advanced in public he would not deal with the topic in his lecture but go straight to BG topics eg. Paramatma, importance of liberation etc.

Make some local decision. Seems fine to go ahead, but to even take the study in modules and discuss the study in summary.

Eg. Story of Gajendra's liberation, SB 8.2-4.
