Dear Maharaja Hanumatpresaka Swami

please accept my humble obeisance’s, All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

It is with a heavy heart that I bring news of a God Brothers passing, Visnu Gada Prabhu has left us.

Was a bit of a surprise for me for I didn’t know of his bodies difficulties. The time with him was brief, though all encounters were sincere and enthusiastic. He always was soberly jovial and encouraging whenever we talked, one would never even know he had physical problems. His departure was actually graceful, no qualms or bitterness, just checked in the hospital and greeted his new journey.

Here’s the post from his facebook page: 

"Wayne passed peacefully in hospital in Springfield, Oregon in the company of several dear ones at 12:54 AM Nov 10. He had been diagnosed with Leukemia a few years ago yet maintained his usual pattern of life until his health collapsed in the last month."

This is from his close friend Shyam Govinda Prabhu,

“My good friend, Vishnu Gada prabhuji/Wayne von Witte had left this harsh world behind. I am feeling morose that I won't be able to hear his constant words of positive encouragement or about his wonderful adventures while out distributing Srila Prabhupada's books.

Whats strange is that I had thought about him a whole lot today before I had heard the news. I believe that he came to me and said his goodbyes.

HpS - ASA --- Is also very good news, no?  Good devotee, good future!  We will keep his picture, copy attached, and chant Japa for him. We are really situated on the mental platform more than the gross platform so all these useful thoughts can help him greatly.

We have been having problems posting in the Blog, so this letter is a little slow.

We are just in our way back to Mexico from almost two months in India and Holy places, with and exhausted body, but lots of beautiful moments in our hearts.

We had a very positive result with the more than 30 people who came with us in tour to Rishikesh, Jaipur and Vrindavan (and surroundings). They enthusiastically engaged in chanting Hare Krishna and were very eager to learn about the pastimes of the Lord specially in Vrindavan. One of the girls in the group just had an amazing realization. While driving she got into an accident where a big truck hook her car over 100meters and the only thing she could think of was the mantra we chanted every day on the bus, HK mahamantra! 

We are just trying to follow your constant instruction of chanting enthusiastically, but seen so many demonstrations of love for Radha & Krishna I can say I don’t have real love for the Names. On Srila Raghunatha Das Goswami disappearance day we visit Radha kunda, and while offering pranams to Syamakunda we observed an old man, cleaning the kund, fighting agains the difficulties of his body but happily doing his service. We just try to appreciate/Thank his service telling him ‘Radhe Radhe’ as is common in Vraja, He responded ‘Radhe Radhe’ with chocking voice and started to cry. How much love this devotees have for their beloveds Names, that just by pronouncing tears start to flow. I don’t have Love for the names.

My mother and sister also have the opportunity to come this karthik to India. We Travel to visit Madan Mohan en Karouli, Govindadevaji & Gopinath in Jaipur were all the devotees melodious bhajans glorifying the Lord doesn’t requiere musical instruments, just once voice. My little 16 years old sister got Iniciation Vraja Mandala Parikrama camp by Lokanat Maharaj. Maharaja was very kind to us and inquiere when we will do Vrajamandala Parikrama. Also happily remember when you used to do parikrama with them.

Gurumaharaja, this time my visit to Vrindavan was very hard, I tried to have as much association as possible, and try to stop the mind from crazy thoughts but I feel like I failed. I feel like I don’t have a service in Srila Prabhupada’s army while im coming here to enjoy the devotional ambience. Our only service was to assist Asita Maharaja in Bhaktivedanta Ashram ISKCON Govardhan for the abhiseka and prasadam distribution on Govardhan Puja.  In general I had many troubles with the pollution and the crowded that turns during festivals.

Next year I will not be able to visit Vraja because im starting post graduate studies. As you suggested I will do something practical (Graduate certification on Pharma regulation), enough to have a ok job.

Gurudeva, please forgive my dullness and inertia to contribute to Srila Prabhupada movement and flickering on my services

Do you have any plans to go any time to China? we distribute one book to one nice lady who couldnt read but felt very atracted by the pictures. we were talking to Kelly (from Houston) about that possibility.

HpS - AGTSP paoho.  Such nice news.  If know you don't have any attraction to the Holy Names then you must KNOW what attraction is.  You didn't think the old Vrjavasi as a psychotic. You have some realization.   So, just go on taking the medicine and you will see results. Maybe you will see that when you chant with mechanical effort in the morning then all day you feel physically healthy.

Our respects to your esteemed husband, Ranchorji. Yes, we hope to see you in Ciudad Mexico en just about 8-weeks.

Anyone who helps other reach the Holy Dhams is guarnteed a place there themselves, no?

Oh, and your wonderful brother is here!!!

Tengo boleto. Puede cambiar pero ya pienso es mejor opcion. Houston 2-9 enero con viaje a Mexico (!) llegando media dia domingo 6 enero, V-puja 7 enero, regresando a houston 8 enero media dia.

 Tomorrow I will go to Chosica. I need good association as well. 

Gurudeva my urgent question is the first week of January 2019 where are U going to be?

AGTSP.  paoho.   Tom Brown here.    HpS has the doors and windows closed so our hay fever is down to 5%.        Today is Srila Prabhupada's Tiro-bhava-mahotsava, departure festival.

Hari-nama-ruci fanatics (led by H. H. Maha-visnu Swami) are here. We sold a book yesterday with them!

Fast until noon then 4PM = Bhajan, 5PM= Abhiseka and Fire Sacrifice (Diksa), .... Arati....  Prabhupada Katha.

Had 30-minute conversation with Dr. Samaresh. He is O.K.   Kolkata is descending to human heat levels.   He gets the final copy of the Index for 'Siksa-darsha' tomorrow!   We are trying to refine the India calendar. He suggests release Siksa-darsha in Pune. We could co-ordinate it with the Symposium on Education.  Then not a fourth book of the papers presented BUT articles for 'Solaris'.

Have to try ghee on our knees.     Leaving soon to our next body, world.

Morning program here is very strong.

Now we will go to Dhatri-yoga for some Govardhana Puja time.

Tengo unos bolsos artesanales de Yute (27 x 30 cm.) que los lleve al aeropuerto cuando Usted viajo a Chile, y

no pude mostrarle. Le estoy enviando algunas fotos para que conozca los bolsos, por

ahora solo tengo cinco unidades. Hasta el 19 podría hacer unos 10 más, y mejorar los

diseños. Esperare su respuesta.

What is a good donation for them?  Devotees in the USA are happy to make a reasonable payment.   What we need is one more Peruvian handicraft type bag like the one we already have in Abhirama's apartment. Then we can put more devotional paraphermalia in it. The bags you have may be enough to fill it. What about other devotional handicrafts from other eg. Sita, Gandharva and Mataji?

Lo que necesitamos es una segunda bolsa de artesanía peruana más como la que ya tenemos en el apartamento de Abhirama. Entonces podemos poner más parafermalia devocional en ella. Las bolsas que tengas pueden ser suficientes para llenarlo. ¿Qué pasa con otras artesanías devocionales de otros, por ejemplo. Sita, Gandharva y Mataji?  Cajas?
