Personal Sadhana and Mandir Report

6 years, 2 months ago by Yamuneswar Das in Personal Sadhana Reports

All Glories to Guru Parampara,

H H HpS Maharaja! Dandavat Pranam,

Please accept my humble obeisences unto Guruji Maharajas Padama Charan that when I read Bhagavatam 10.14.33 Translation : "Yet even though the extent of the good fortune of these residents of Vrndavana is inconceivable, we eleven presiding deities of the various senses, headed by Lord Siva, are also most fortunate, because the senses of these devotees of Vrndavana are the coupe through which we repeatedly drink the nectarine, intoxicating beverage of the honey of your lotus feet". In this text, what is the actual meaning of the eleven presiding deities? Please high light in easier way.

HpS - Jaya! AGTSP.... Paoho..... So, nice to hear from you. After 12-weeks of hard, hard, travel we are back on our 'office', base-camp, and starting to answer letters and do writing projects. So nice to hear from you. We just Searched for "eleven senses" on Vedabase.com and we found this citation: https://vedabase.io/en/library/sb/7/7/22/?query=%22eleven+senses%22#bb45836

In the earlier Cantos there are description of the deities for each sense. Eg. Indra is the predominating deity of the hands, but I cannot remember exactly where it is.

I think You will be busy all the time, excuse me for disturbance of Guruji's daily activities.

Yours fallen servant,

Yamunesvara Das

HpS - What is the news from Manipura. You are going on Sankirtan? Distribute literature? Some people come to programs?

Sankirtan Report/Temple activities

All Glories To Srila Prabhupada

AGTHPS, PAMHO.

I have been done distribution among professors of Solaris III. I have been written with Govinda Pramodhini and Gopi Radha an article for Jayam, we reported to Prabhu Abhirama in an online session on March 9th. And we checked grammar mistakes of this article. And, since I have invited to publish in Viplavah, Gopi Radha DD and I agreed to do it. Sankirtan efforts is for publishing and written drafts. We have been read mataji Urmila DD his book and try to study about education programs, but maybe it’s useless. I don’t know yet, if I am going to participate in 'Education and The Sacred' in Peru.

Every Sunday we (Angirasa and your servant) cook for Sri Sri Radha Madan Gopal, offering of 7:45 pm and buy flowers for the altar.

By the mercy of Sri Krishna, Srila Prabhupada and your blessings, my family and I going to travel to New York. Angirasa Das, my husband joined to the movement in 1970 at the temple of Henri St. in this city. We want to go to Harinam on June 7th, Ratha Yatra on 8th and Kirtan Mela on 9th and stay with his son Radha Krishna. A good opportunity to visit Matchless Gift temple and the park, where Srila Prabhupada did his first harinam. We ask for your blessings (again) in order to get our goal of remembering Srila Prabhupada´s preaching by visiting these places.

Your useless servant

Lalita Gopi DD

HpS- Thank you so much! Call us when you are in New York. You can see we leave for Lima after that. Read about the Kirtans in Thompson part in the 'Lila-amrta'. Krsna will give us good intelligence how to preach if we chant good rounds!!!!!! Our respects to our 'Big Brother", Angirasa Das.

Dandavata Pranama Guru Maharaja

Dear Guru Maharaja,

Please accept my most humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and your service unto him.

I am most unfortunate that I am unable to be present in your holy presence on your most holy appearance day. As I am far from you, I can only remember that your holy association is like the rays of the moon for us, saving us from the misery of ignorance. I am reminded that your words are like the boat that takes us across the ocean of suffering.

I wish I could have been present at your seminars in ISKCON New Delhi. Your presentations were the ones that convinced me of how perfectly the Gaudiya Vaishnava philosophy answers all the questions and dilemmas of any sincere seeker. Your presentations in my childhood quenched my personal doubts, and piqued my interest in the quest for the synthesis of science and spirituality. I am very glad that I could serve you in my small limited capacity to facilitate you to give seminars at ISKCON New Delhi to the youth there. I hope other students also gain the spiritual awakening I obtained from your lectures and seminars.

As I see the disasters and suffering in the world around us, I realise how lax I am in my spiritual chanting and awakening. I feel I need to strengthen myself spiritually Guru Maharaj. I need to be more sincere in my sadhana. Hence, at the beginning of this year, I want to determine myself to more sincerely dedicate myself to chanting. In the previous year, I was chanting my rounds, but sometimes could not finish them all in the same day and thus had to continue the next day. This year I am going to aim to finish my rounds on the same day and not leave it to be finished the next day.

Hoping to one day be your aspiring servant,

Aja Govinda dasa

HpS - Just back in Tennessee and starting to catch up on the work. Thank you for your letter. You are entering Grhastha ashrama soon??

Travel to India

All Glories to Srila Prabhupada

All glories to Hanumatpresaka swami

Obeisances

I was investigating about the visa to travel from Chile to India.

Starting from this year, the visa for turism allows stay one year in India, and not only from Chile, also from many others contruies.

I was thinking and i have one question (that i mentioned in gotomeeting)

¿Is good idea stay one year in India?

So here whishing whitout stoping. My nickname in this occasion is "sea of desires" jajaja.

Thank you maharaja, i want to clean my self to be a good servant.

Hare Krishna.

HpS - AGTSP paoho. You came and visited us in Buenos Aires, no? We have not initiated you yet? We find no record. We are losing our memory. Have to organize our records another way. So nice to see you daily in FMP!!! It is good for some to go to India for one year the first time, bad for others. Some go and never return. India is there home.

If you have service, association, any place is good, right place to be. With whom will you go? What will be your service? You can meet many devotees once you get to India. There are different tours and festivals. You must be comfortable with 'camping'. Just have simple things like toilet items, change of clothes, sleeping in simple places.

Why are you going?

Maybe too early unless you have a strong Guru to act as your guide. Then it can be very useful. You can see where Rupa Goswami is buried and touch it with your face and hands.
