I remember Aindra prabhu told me once "everything you give and serve Nitai Gour is ok because they are very merciful and they do not see our mistakes, but for Radha Krsna you should be perfect" and I know I'm very far from being perfect so please my dear Guru Maharaja bestow your causeless mercy upon me to serve them better every day.

%%%^In relation with Haridev's school we had to enhance his home schooling. His mother is teaching him Hindi, Bengali and English and I'm trying to teach him the "boring subjects" as some people say like geography, biology and maths, but he's very inquisitive and when we change the theme he asks "first tell me what the Vedas say to this respect".

Sometimes I know and other times I run to the Srimad Bhagavatam to learn myself to teach him properly.

Here I have a doubt, I have heard that Vedas have the idea that the earth is not round or oval as we have learned from time immemorial, but flat or something like that and if so, then I don't understand things like transition from day to night, phases of the moon, or seasons of the year for example pls enlight me to this respect and if you know someone who can help me to have a curriculum for these subjects based on the Vedas it would help me very much.

HpS - I think the cosmology video we did for Aravinda Das for Mexico is in the ASA Audiovisual channel in youtube. There are just different maps. One is the globe, round model. That is fine.

Akincana das from Mexico and Gour Gadadhar from Peru are lockdowned in Mayapur. Akincana is very sad because he has not been able to come to vrndavan, please pray for him so he can get it.

Maharaja, a desire in my heart is getting bigger: I would like to create (i.e cast or carve wooden) deities and then ask Krishna for reside in my home in arca form, but I don´t really know if this is appropiate. I chant 16 rounds since December 2018. I live with my wife and son (one year old) and We are trying to practice Krishna consciousness at home (Santiago de Chile). These are the questions:

1.- Is appropiate for me to create deities? Why?

2.- If the previous question has affirmative answer, then I would like to know if sastra says something about proportions, forms, materials, etc. Data for the ways of fabrication (if it can be called like that).

3.- Why is it said that different deities have different percentages of mercy, for instance, Goura-Nitay 100% but other lower levels, at the end is the same Krishna with different companion and forms, isn't he?

4.- Home deities should be installed in some way as temple deities?

5.- What's the difference with temple and home deities?

El sistema de yoga puede ser comparado a una escalera que puede conducir al nivel más elevado de la vida espiritual. El primer escalón es hatha-yoga, que involucra el realizar numerosas posturas que le capacitan a uno a controlar los sentidos y lograr equilibrio mental. Jñana-yoga, o el yoga del conocimiento, involucra una inquisición filosófica sobre la naturaleza del espíritu. Cuando jñana-yoga se desarrolla al punto de la meditación en el Señor Supremo dentro del corazón mediante diferentes procesos físicos, se llama astanga-yoga. En tanto que uno continúa subiendo la escalera del yoga, se encuentra luego con raja-yoga, kriya-yoga, karma-yoga, prana-yoga y otros. Los Vedas explican que bhakti, o el yoga del amor y la devoción a Dios, es el escalón más alto en la escalera del yoga. Bhakti-yoga es la culminación de todos los yogas e incluye todas las otras formas de yoga en esta escalera. Bhakti-yoga es el sistema practicado por los miembros de La Sociedad Internacional para la Conciencia de Krishna (ISKCON).
