Hare Krishna, dear Gurudeva. Pamho, AGTSP

This little letter, just to tell you that I'm fine. This quarantine has served me well.

• My Sadhana is fixed.
• I read more, study more, listen to more classes, I give more classes, seminars.
• I finish my rounds before the 6am gayatri.
• And I can enjoy the day with freedom. I can chant extra rounds when I go out or have some free time.

This pandemic has also served to appreciate the association with devotees. With some friendships have been strengthened and I have had the opportunity to make more devotee friends.

I have also had the opportunity to relate more and better to my family. I have been able to offer more Prasadam and talk more about important issues.

We recently opened our Forum Cinema on Sunday nights. We watch movies with some good content. The other day we saw a good movie called "God is not Dead." This has given us the opportunity to exchange ideas.

ASA - Yes, we also promote Spiritual Cinema Night!!! Eg. Saturday. Free popcorn (with lots of salt) and drinks $2.00 ea! (😎)

For my birthday we saw "The Breakfast Club", about some boys who remain in detention on Saturday at their school. You can appreciate the concerns of young people and thus improve our vision to deal with them.

I send you two photos:

A cake that my sister made with much affection and I offered it. The other time for Sita navami I occupied her in service and she made a beautiful cake for Sita devi. I send another photo of my preparation for the Brahmanas. Lately I only interact physically with a Brahmana, to whom I will offer some chocolate brownies (carob) that came out very good. I have also learned to cook very tasty things for the Lord and take advantage to distribute Prasadam to my family. Especially my niece who became a vegetarian a while ago and cook for her too.

I was just reading something from the Diary of a Traveling Preacher from Indradyumma Swami that seemed appropriate to the date. Her son said to him: "You have lived a full life. Even if you were to die today, you would have nothing to regret. ” It made me think. One day closer to death. Can I die satisfied today? I think not, there is so much to achieve, to do… And Maharaj continued and said: “I have not been able to understand the mercy that the Lord has given me. Having my spiritual master, the holy names, the association of the Vaisnavas… those gifts are to share with others. ”

That is my brief report, for now.

After having carefully read and re-read your responses to me and after having spoken with Dayanidhi prabhu, his wife Vrindava Vilasini mataji and a fixed up Vaisnava couple about my situation and your responses, I think I have something of an understanding of my position and how to move forward.

I am chanting my rounds. It seems to be the consensus that I am following the four regulative principles well. I believe that I am meeting 16/4.

HpS - You are in a group that occupies probably less than .001% of the worlds population! Special Dude! Thank you!

I also know that to stay stable I need the regular association of the devotees and some service. Chanting in my back yard, reading alone and listening to pre-recorded classes is simply not sufficient.

ASA - Awk!

Due to the virus, the details are not clear, but I am continuing to talk to Vrindavan mataji to find a way forward. I need to turn my feeling of fear and shame into humility.

HpS - Maharaja Bharata became and ANIMAL. At least we are walking on two legs!!!

I have also been advised that ending my current relationship is likely to cause more problems than it would solve. I think that I need to make sure that there is plenty of warm, fresh prasadam for my partner to honor so he doesn't have the room to eat out or consume unclean things. I also need to get him more association with my devotee friends here. I think in this way I can work to purify our relationship. There is also a small service that he may be able to use his talents (computer engineer) to help the temple. There is hope for him.

ASA - Don't feel pushed to help out of fear! Krsna will help you. What appears like losing material resources, usually is so that Krsna can give us better resources! Help out of abundance!

I am engaged in ongoing dialogues with trusted grihastas to work out the specifics of my ashram.

It is my sincere hope that I have understood your instruction and have somehow used it to chart an acceptable course forward. If I have erred in my comprehension or application of the advice I have received, I humbly ask that you would correct me.

HpS-ASA = As the Black Doctor told Janis Joplin, "Honey, you doin jus fine!!". Of course she killed herself... but hey this is not a small deal! Turning Kali-yuga Karma into Goloka Bhava!!!! Right now you seem to be doing very, very well!!!!! Gonna be good resource for so many people.

Gurumaharaja, the presiding personalities of the cellphone networks seem to have decided to cause havoc. There are nationwide service outages and Southern California has been hit. As soon as my phone is working again hopefully I will see your message, but at the moment my phone is little more than a very expensive parrot chew toy.

ing!!! Ooof! We can just barely keep our regular schedule!!! These Saturday classes are fixed at that time, and other classes. Like once in two months we can make a change. I'm sure we will work out something. I love you and you love me, and then each other, eventually, we will see!!! God is all powerful!!

It is so, so nice to hear that you all have these programs!!!! Great satisfaction to Srila Prabhupada, no?
