pamho, AGtSP!

TILL DEATH DO WE PART.

Thought I’d better write before I’m dead, too busy to be this old, yet, am learning to pace better. The jobs are all odd now, aside from “Harinam,’it seems to be a re-honed destiny, bringing reality.

Now having to fix our gate and fence, occasional side work in the trades and keep vigilant with dear Subhra’s compromises in career.

She’s now doing administration and I monitor her stress from the “slaughter house of knowledge.”

Regardless she sometimes, covertly, influences sincere people into the Temples’ fold, something unintentional and quite bold for modern Academic standards.

While all the juggling & balancing go on, the 16-4 is truly what sustains us in days that are sometimes too long. It is our foundation in our house of gyrations, along with some sincere effort in our Buddhi aspirations... carry on, chant the Holy Song!

 YUGA DHARMA FIRST.

Speaking of duty, the “Gate” has 2 posts out, one to go, then 3 specifically placed 4X’S.

Today just digging out and then off to Gainesville (GNV) for Friday Harinam. Tuesdays we do Harinam in Alachua, seems to help lessen my conditioned state, God knows I do need association, out for now, digging in the dirt, got another post out, one to go... if it wasn’t warped I could of left it there, se la vie.

. . .

Showered up and heading to GNV, 4pm Hari Nam at 13th & University across from the UF campus, we’ve got a few devotees, mostly seniors and Prabhupada disciples, still more to come, we’re on for 90 minutes, more or less, preferably more! Looks like it will be even more, Football game tomorrow, we come and chant at the pre-game entrance, a lot of good exposure.

. . .

Keeping pace on japa this morning, have to keep it going, and then we can focus on the Harinam this afternoon. If done right it will also free time for a bit of the “Honey-Dues” at the house. ‘Grha’ is a tricky ashram and I now know why Vanaprastha is offered, it’s to keep a vision of dharma to prevent from getting buried in a deep-well covered with grass.

Finished our Saturday “bonus” Kirtan at the “Gator Game,” now back at our abode, we had a good group of about 25 devotees at the University of Florida, quite few new Russians visiting, we all managed to get fired up enough that the rain held off till we left, free shower after a balmy campus Kirtan. Devotee association really does keep us enthusiastic. Next game is October 17th in Jacksonville, time for road tour.

 DAILY SEVA TAPASYA.

Been keeping up with Yantra-Japa now for almost 3 years now, and have been getting some presentiments of shortcomings. If more focus is not applied, sleep becomes an enemy in this “jotting-japa” (as with any japa) and may now see actual deflection of concentration on paper. When my autopilot takes over during nod-offs, immediate scrawls or disfigured shapes graphically appear on the chart.

The good part is I may retro-fit some fresh mantras in to correct, whereas on mala I tend to lose track. With age, that “sleeping” tendency gets to easy. When consciousness and lethargy hover together it is almost a third state of consciousness, very self-deceptive. Standing up, spray of water, or even a short break does help restore attentiveness. I know this will be an ongoing battle till the end. Challenge is on!

. . .

Well, well, time does tell, another project within another project. Likened to dominoes, one leads to another. This is a formula that becomes quite a task in daily affairs, along with lifetime practices, yet the needful brings to needed fulfillments, not just for the self, but to persons in “need,” this why the art of seva is so rewarding, it’s not for us... it is US! We are complete when engaged and temporarily surcharged to perform, then rest until the next service; this is peremptory training in my humble opinion. Be it duty or decreed, it will bring satisfaction in selfless activities, just what we need, thus fulfilling closings in daily services, enchanting our Soul and pleasing the Supreme, a worthy goal.

HpS/ASA - Jayananda Das commented that you don't need a big, very significant service at every, even any moment. You just need to always be engaged in service. That service is the best way to be engaged in more intense and broadly significant service. "vidya vadu jivanam"

Kartika

It’s that time again! The month of enhanced awareness and sacrifice, do what I can, maintaining always is a good start.

Love the extra songs with the pastimes, breaks routine to tangible notions of devotion. Pet project is the completion of the SFRY SEVA book and sending it to Granthraja Prabhu. 1st day in, guess this is a good time to drop this letter at the Monkeys tree.

HpS - Maybe learning word by word meanings of part or all of the song.

Learn how to respond to the song without a song sheet. how to lead without a song sheet.

we are reading Vrndavana Dhama Mahimamrta as translated by his grace kusa krata das. posted details on the WhatsApp group!

Thank you for your most valuable time.

sincerely, C.C. your servant in training.

hps/asa - how much is our time worth by the hour???? is there soul-money? USA Karmi paycheck is in Wally Dollars, no? Money that can be exchanged for any goods or services at Walmart.

We are getting paid in dollars that can be exchanged for things at K-Mart??

[Remember. Money is just Monkey spelled with a K (for KRSNA) inserted in the middle. 😱

Have lots of Mon(k)ey! It's good for you!

Of course, we are eternal and possessed of unlimited energy. Self recharging AAA cells. Thus, all we want to do is serve Krsna.

Haw Haw Hare!

We are manufactured to work for free, forever.

For Go, Gopa, Gopi Govinda-nandana!

Who is Self absorbed in His own narcistic pleasures!

Hare Krishna, Maharaja pamho.

hps/asa - all glories to srila prabhupada!!!

well, I think it’s good Maharaj; I see devotees there serving Krishna nicely. I offer my obeisances to them.

frankly speaking I don’t think I can do anything there; actually and unfortunately I don’t feel almost any atracción to that place.

hps - what place is that???

let us see if we can find a previous letter to you.

...

looks like the bhakti vedanta manor???

...this year I have visited probably less than 10 times; my misfortune. but I don’t feel bad about it. I do understand it’s okay I just need to protect myself the best I can and try to be in the places that I feel inspired and willing to chant more and more.

now I am working in the tattoo shop of my sister with herself and also my mom too so I try to engage them in the distribución of books here in the shop, we have a very wide public so it’s a good opportunity.

but yes I feel like increasing my devotional activities more and more so I am already making plans to do so maybe in the uk at least for short periods of time or maybe even a lifetime.

also I am removing some of my most visible tattoos like my head and neck so I look more like a Prabhupad disciple; so yes trying everyday… chanting the holy names and having faith that Krishna will provide the intelligence and everything else needed to make further development in Krishna consciousness.

Maharaj please be merciful unto me and give me some light so I can see the path clear and clear. 🙏🏾

Hare Krishna thank you Maharaj.

Bhakta Jorge

that guy who came across Srila Prabhupad books by merely accident.

hps/asa - you seem to be running along in the right direction.

yes.

there are different paths and ways to move toward the wonderful city of braj!!

where you will meet the society you love.

and misses you.

and is watching you at every minute on celestial security cameras.

one path you might try immediately is to sit down with your soul and ask it.... "how many rounds can you chant daily for the next two weeks eg. ekadasi to the next ekadasi".

then do it.

if your mind says, no, then you stop breathing until it does what you both know it can do.

can be one round each year on janmastami.

one round a day for two weeks.

four...

16...

this is a path in from Nectar of Devotion.

Thank you!!!

THank you very much!!!!!!

You've got work to do.

Querido Gurudev: Pamho.

HpS - I do not know exactly. The Acharyas always appear with their beads covered. I have heard that non-devotees, demonic people can get intelligence, strength, by seeing us chanting on beads. On the other hand it seems like it might have Sankirtan potency for people to see a devotee chanting.

HpS - Yes, I think it is the same but even more important. It I am alone I don't cover my hand, and so many pictures of Prabhupada when he was chanting with his hand exposed, but he was probable in the association of only second or more initiated devotees.

HpS - No!

Maha-nidhi Swami, Saccinandana Swami tien libros bastante bueno.

TRANSLATE.GOOGLE.COM - Is there any reason why we should ignore these philosophical points and stop respecting someone in this life or after we leave?

Vuestra eterna aspirante a sirviente

Querido Gurumaharaja

Vuestra eterna aspirante a sirviente

Asta Sakhi dd

Dear Gurumaharaja

Please accept our respectful obeisances.

All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!

Thank you very much for your sacred association and news of your sankirtana for the pleasure of Śrīla Prabhupāda.

The news of your recent itinerary brings us joy because your enthusiasm excites us, but at the same time, I am particularly upset by my misfortune of not having received your vapuh over the past few years.

For some of your disciples, traveling is somewhat difficult due to financial issues, work, responsibilities, and also the demanding visa requirements.

We understand that your travels are different now. There are programs and visits that take priority over sankirtana. However, I would like to raise the miraculous possibility of a rest stop for a few hours at the Mexico City airport. We once had a good informative program on Education and the Sacred at these facilities with some guests. Now, our idea (understanding the priorities) is to be able to serve you once again in vapuh without overloading your schedule. A drop of your mercy would be so life-giving for us.

Our priority is your sankirtana and the energy for it, but if at any time Sri Krishna's universe conspires in our favor and you need a rest stop, to speak with Oscar, Ana, and others, we will always be waiting for you like the cowherd boys who waited for Sri Krishna to return to Vrndavan so they could continue living.

Thank you very much for your inspiration.

Please forgive our offenses.

Your eternal aspiring servant

Asta Sakhi dd

HpS = AgtSP. thank you for your merciful association. we are thinking just about the same as all of you.

The itinerary to Spain is fixed and is being fixed for India. Then we work on Latin America. In general, Houston is a suburb of Ciudad Mexico, so maybe we can even go down in the morning and come back in the evening 😆

Krsna is Urukrama, the Big Doer.

Certainly, these letters from you, Laghu, Arista, Lalita, Karuna............. ! Are like life for us. Thank you!!
