I wanted to ask you: Lord Balarama meets with Krishna's gopis to teach them how to dance. And I've also heard that He has His own gopis. Are both statements true?

HpS - I remember reading a commentary on the Caitanya Bhagavata by Srila Bhakti siddhanta while I was in the B'cari ashrama in Spain where he said that Lord Balarama never dances with Gopis in the mood of an enjoyer, husband. He always acts in the mood of Guru, dance teacher.

So, some gopis He may be showing for the first time what it is like to dance with Krsna. Some may progress to join the Rasa lila with Krsna, and some may stay in that mood of students, admirers and group forever.

Regarding reading the 3rd cantos of Srimad Bhagavatam onward, I have no one other than Gopal and Franco when they want to join me. I don't have a connection, only WhatsApp, and if I do sometimes, it's very limited and doesn't last long. I only associate with them, and in the mornings I go out to make sales and talk to people. That's all my in-person association. So, can I read with them sometimes and sometimes alone?

I was thinking of writing my songs for Govinda here while I find time to record. I read that you said we have to pay to play them.

how many of the five were devotees before the classes or conversation? What was the philosophical position of the others before?

what was the result of each conversation or class? Eg. change in social status, wrote which books?

get the hardbound copy. it is like a sensuous companion. you can curl up with it on the couch and read it every day to escape from the world of business and administration. it will fit into your briefcase or purse.

is it a good substitute, extract, essence of the caitanya caritamrta?

do you love it?

is it in your top ten of your personal attachments to the BBT library?

do you you recommend it to others? who? why?

under what circumstances and in what frame of mind did Lord Caitanya meet the above five personalities?

How are His Preaching Strategies demonstrated in the meetings with the above five? How do, can, you use these strategies?

it was not much of a freighter, but it basically ran well and had structural integrity. his concern was yoga and for that he needed some anonymity, solitude and a little steady income.

he didn't have much business savey, but that motto and a few others kept him upright and making a small profit margin.

he could repair the 'begone' but had no need to save for a new vessel, because he figured he'd be dead about the same time she was ready for recycling.

I was watching a podcast of yours the other day, the Nama Rasa Podcast. I liked the class :)

HpS - So did we. Youtuve Nama rasa is a real triumph for Srila Prabhupada's movement.

How’s the preaching going over there in the states? How do you see the organization in the US temples?

ASA - 🐷 - Very mechanistic. Sankirtan in the streets and malls is accomplished by some really empowered souls. Patita pavana and Jaya Hari Das, Bhakti Lan Sing, here in Houston, Mahotsava Das and Bhakti vikasa Swami devotees, to our knowledge.

BIG BIG opportunity for devotees in their professional relations to become known as members of ISKCON and then gradually preaching, showing, to their professional contacts.

Jehovah's Witnesses. Mormons and Hare Krsnas.

What to they stand for???? Have they got any good idea.

A wave may come at any moment. Gotta know your stuff from study and practical experience.

There something I would like to comment you about: sometimes I see a real lack of motivation from some devotees here in the temple of Buenos Aires, not in the service in which I do participate (Harinam), but for instance the Prasadam, I used to donate organic grains and some other stuff in order to the devotees can take better care of their health, and now I’m giving another dakshina because my economy is not as good as it used to be.

And I see the devotees not making a real effort to take care of their health, with just 30 hours of sankirtan they can earn the Lakshmi to afford a whole month of organic goods.

And IDK [?] why they are not doing it. Is there anything you think I might be of any help for them to improve their sense of responsibility?

HpS - Talk to them with reason. If that doesn't sink in, try to talk to the leaders. In any case preach by example. They are people.

Another thing I don’t quite understand, most of the devotees don’t pay real attention to Ayurveda until they get cancer, why is that? They eat refined flour, white sugar and white rice, and in spite of they knowing really well that is not good, they still consume that.

HpS - They have their blind spots. You and I have ours. We cannot see ours. They cannot see theirs.

Sometime ago I began watching self devolopment gurus podcasts and learned a lot of stuff: how to set myself goals, how to keep a routine, how to keep a track of my completed habits, how to be consistent. And I think some things we should ask to Krishna for certain things. I see a lot of things that I have to improve in my life, and whenever I feel something is spiritually good for me, I ask Krishna for it, and He helped so much.

My point is that I feel a lot of devotees are just content with what they have, even if that’s not the best for them, and they get stuck in that step.

HpS - Show them the higher life. Some of us will die with some of our attachments. Some are superficial, so look at their change of hear. NOI 6.

I’ve heard the other day that I keep listening to: avoid people who have no goals in life, we cannot change them, and seek the association of those who have goals and pursue them.

Can we apply that to our spiritual life in any sense?

HpS - Yes. 😃 More important than Immediate Goals is Priorities. Get up early and get your rounds done!

The purposes of ppt is

1. to establish concept "causeless" existENCE, it make more sense if it is Being than primoRdial soup. and we can develop relation with Being, He controls all causes.
2. our own self were heavily mis/un guided, where we criticized people, wasted youth in technical life, was not exposed to philosophy / vedic ideas... so we should give it to them
3. enduring relationship with student---some of them yes , but with idea of guiding them as service to ISKCON and SPOG
4. the curly black hair boy (natural leader) is manifesting themself as spiritual sparks, so we have to learn different emotions before we relate with curly black boy
5. we remember your words in University preaching , just go to Param-atma level, and then personally try to take to Bhagvan.
