Respected Gurudeva before starting this report, I apologize for the days of delay, September has been a very intense month in activities and efforts (Viplavah 2020-03, Solaris No 5, the Solaris indexing management and its respective website, and other services), please excuse my limitations.

Well, I begin, as you indicated in our last conversation, I comply with informing that Visual Services has already delivered the print and web version of Viplavah 02-2020 (in June) and Viplavah 03-2020 (in August-September).

As part of the development of the Journal, now the content has increased from 24 pages (on average) to 48 pages (No. 02-2020) and 36 pages (No. 03-2020) which has required more time in the services of design and layout.

For the following numbers I suggest two points that will help the final design of Viplavah: 1.- that the authors, in addition to their article, send a brief biodata and a personal photo, in high resolution (better if they send 2 or 3 photos so we choose the More appropriate). And 2.- If possible, send illustrations and photos, at 300 dpi resolution, for their articles. In addition to the above, I consider book reviews and new publications to be an important ingredient in any education magazine, so I suggest that one or two people be assigned to do this part of Viplavah specifically.

Respetado Gurudeva antes de empezar este informe, le pido me disculpe por los días de demora del mismo, septiembre ha sido un mes muy intenso en actividades y gestiones (Viplavah 2020-03, Solaris No 5, la gestión de indexación de Solaris y su respectiva página web, y otros servicios), por favor disculpe mis limitaciones. Bueno, empiezo, tal como me indicó en nuestra última conversación cumplo con informar que Visual Services ya cumplió con entregar la versión para imprimir y web de Viplavah 02-2020 (en junio del 2020) y Viplavah 03-2020 (en agosto-septiembre del 2020).

Como parte del desarrollo de la revista ahora el contenido se ha incrementado de 24 páginas (en promedio) a 48 páginas (en el 02-2020) y 36 páginas (en el 03-2020) lo cual ha demandado más tiempo en los servicios de diseño y diagramación.

Para los siguientes números sugiero dos puntos que ayudarán al diseño final de Viplavah: 1.- que los autores, además de su artículo, envíen una breve biodata y una foto personal, en alta resolución (mejor si envían 2 o 3 fotos asi elegimos la más apropiada). Y 2.- Si es posible, que envíen ilustraciones y fotos, a 300 dpi de resolución, para sus artículos. Además de lo mencionado considero que las reseñas de libros y nuevas publicaciones es un ingrediente importante en toda revista de educación por lo que sugiero que se asigne a una o dos personas para que hagan específicamente esta parte de Viplavah.

Querido Gurudeva, espero se encuentre usted muy bien en todos los aspectos, que el Señor Nrismhadeva lo proteja siempre 🙏🦁🧡, le pido mis sinceras disculpas por mi larga ausencia, siempre ha estado en mis pensamientos aunque me pierda de vez en cuando. Estuve muy colapsada mental y emocionalmente, mi sistema inmunológico se debilitó, mi salud física se vio muy afectada, al punto de no tolerar algunos alimentos, tuve que dejar de comer todo tipo de gluten y leche; me fui a vivir a Santiago con mis hijos el año pasado el ambiente en casa de mis padres estaba muy tóxico y ya no lo soportaba, por la salud de mis hijos y la mía nos vinimos, gracias a Krishna encontramos una casita en un buen lugar, tranquilo y con todo lo que necesitabamos. 

He estado analizando y sanando tantas cosas, hay mucho de mi niñez que aún hace que me duela el corazón, la falta de amor y comprensión de mis padres, sabiendo que yo era un ser sensible y un poco extraño para esa época, me interesaba el vegetarianismo (a los 14 años deje de comer todo tipo de carne), el yoga, la poesía, las flores, la naturaleza, el tarot y todo lo místico. Estaba recordando que cuando era pequeña mi madre me llevaba al centro a hacer trámites y veía a una mujer que parecía salida de otro mundo, era madre Gaurangi que se ponía con una mesita de libros, siempre que la veía me llamaba tanto la atención, y la primera vez que tuve un libro fue como a los 13 años donde obligue a mis padres a ir una feria esotérica que tenía una entrada carisima, nada era muy bueno por el valor que habíamos pagado, excepto porque dentro de todo eso estaban los devotos distribuyendo libros y pizza, recuerdo que me acerque con mucho interés y le dije a mi mamá que quería pizza y unos libros, ella me dijo : o la pizza o los libros. Y yo pensé si me como una pizza no durará mucho, pero si me llevo unos libros podré saber más y elegí dos libros Viaje había al autoconocimiento y uno de recetas vegetarianas, no entendía mucho la filosofía y cocinaba muy mal, pero me gustaba leerlos, aún los conservo como mis primeros acercamientos a la Conciencia de Krishna.

Gurudeva espero mantenerme fija, es lo que más me cuesta, poder ser disciplinada y determinada, en los momentos en que estoy enfocada en mi sadhana puedo sentir como la magia del Santo Nombre se manifiesta en mi vida, en mis pensamientos y corazón, estoy orando por lograr ser constante y determinada y dejar de perder los valiosos días y oportunidades que Krishna nos da. 

Le agradezco su tiempo para leerme y su entusiasmo sin límites, usted es un faro de luz dentro de este mundo oscuro.

Dear Gurudeva, I hope you are very well in all aspects, that Lord Nrismhadeva will always protect you 🙏🦁🧡, I sincerely apologize for my long absence, it has always been in my thoughts even if it loses me from time to time. I was very mentally and emotionally collapsed, my immune system weakened, my physical health was greatly affected, to the point of not tolerating some foods, I had to stop eating all kinds of gluten and milk; I went to live in Santiago with my children last year the environment in my parents' house was very toxic and I could no longer bear it, for the health of my children and mine we came, thanks to Krishna we found a little house in a good place , quiet and with everything we needed.

I have been analyzing and healing so many things, there is much from my childhood that still makes my heart ache, the lack of love and understanding from my parents, knowing that I was a sensitive being and a little strange for that time, I was interested in vegetarianism (at age 14 stop eating all kinds of meat), yoga, poetry, flowers, nature, tarot and everything mystical. I was remembering that when I was little my mother would take me downtown to do paperwork and see a woman who seemed to come out of another world, it was mother Gaurangi who would wear a book table, whenever I saw her she caught my attention, and The first time I had a book it was around 13 years old where I forced my parents to go to an esoteric fair that had a very expensive entrance, nothing was very good for the value we had paid, except because within all that the devotees were distributing books and pizza, I remember that I approached with great interest and told my mother that I wanted pizza and some books, she said: either the pizza or the books. And I thought if I eat a pizza it will not last long, but if I take some books I will be able to know more and I chose two books There was a journey to self-knowledge and one on vegetarian recipes, I did not understand philosophy much and cooked very badly, but I liked reading them, I still keep them as my first approaches to Krishna Consciousness.

Gurudeva I hope to stay fixed, it is what costs me the most, to be able to be disciplined and determined, in the moments when I am focused on my sadhana I can feel how the magic of the Holy Name manifests in my life, in my thoughts and heart, I am praying to be consistent and determined and stop wasting the precious days and opportunities that Krishna gives us.

HpS - The same for us!! We try to be fixed in some very important things that our stupid, weak self can do and then when we have the passion for other service do it as much as we can, even if it is not regulated.

The content of the HPS presentation

I didn't get that you were asking me about your proposal. I think that the idea is very accurate to the public who will attend.

In fact, the BG is known already by this audience so, hear this technical approach from the BG, is very authoritative and advanced way to start for a swami who will speak about this book.

The quotations from Srimad Bhagavatam are perfect because are a good example of how this Bhagavata culture see the ideal situation of the world and how it was, actually.

In one moment I thought is not too much but then I realized that the time frame is a very short, so now, on contrary, I think that is a very focused message and that's good.

Humble suggestions

In my humble opinion, a wink [nod] or a little reference to some of the points in common between Bhagavata culture and Mapuche culture and perspective - or at least, Inca culture- about "nature and the sacred" would be unexpected but very well received if you make it.

TB - The first problem is that we have no firm idea whatsoever about Mapuche culture! What is it? Do they worship The Great One who Eats Dried Banana-chips on Ekadasi? Why is it important to the audience? Are they Mapuche? Or are they afraid of Maphuche??? Help!

For that, I recommended already check this extract of the interview to the researcher and our friend's mentor, Gastón Soublette speaking about the deep values of the mapuche culture.

Book Distribution

Regarding your question, I think that Light of the Bhagavata is not available physically, I mean, I have some but just a few physical, 3 or 4 I think.

BBT Spanish Books are not yet for Amazon Kindle officially. Only Bhagavad Gita.

Science of Self Realization or the Spanish BBT book "Ecología y Supervivencia" 80 pages I think it would be good. The SSR is already in vedabase.com in spanish.

But one way that I think that would be interesting is put a link (with bit.ly tech to know then how many people enter in it in the moment, and afterwards) where the people could download an extract (for example SB 1.10-4-6) in pdf/epub formats or event the entire Light of Bhagavata or Science of Self Realization in spanish (in a unoficcial way, I can prepare it). What do you think about it?

TB - The vedabase.io link to BG 7.4 and SB 1.10.4+ could be included. They can can communicate with you all, no? Then you can filter the interest and we can expand our citations and send books accordingly? We could also include a bibliography, "further reading'!

Anyway, I think that we should focus in just one or two book.
