Guru Maharaj please forgive me for not writing to you for the last two months...

I have been following four regulative principles and chanting 16 rounds and by your causeless mercy doing some sewa in the temple. We have sewa every wednesday and thursday. So we are lucky enough that we get chance to take darshan twice a week. It has been a year now I have been doing tulasi sewa in the temple. Despite the flaws in me she is so so merciful and it feels as if she is reciprocating.

Tulasi Maharani at our house is also doing well, hope we take good care of her in winter. Now we have two tulasi pots and few small ones are comming up. We try to take good care of her.

HpS - We hear She likes

1. Association
2. Warmth
3. Sunlight
4. Water.

Guru Maharaj thank you for the reply of the previous letter. In the previous letter (https://monkeywarrior.com/detail/11471/) you had asked me my Civil name and date of birth. My Civil Name is Divya Iyer and my date of birth is 26th September 1989.

HpS - We found them, but still have not posted them because we are evil! (and old (and stupid [but pretty happy with association of devotees like you all])) 😎

Guru Maharaj we got the DTC Book and the Prasadam which you had sent for us. I felt so fortunate and happy that my spiritual master is so merciful that he remembers and sends somethings to his disciples. Many devotees here share their experiences with their spiritual masters and relish...i was not able to understand their feelings... But when I got the parcel from you...i was on cloud nine and still relish what you had sent. Thank you so much for so much mercy upon us Guru Maharaj. It is so nice to feel that we are always under the protection of such merciful spiritual master.

We have finished studying 19 chapters of Nectar of Devotion for Bhakti Shastri course, and soon in couple of weeks we will be having our exam. After completing Nectar of Devotion we will be doing last book Bhagavad Gita.

HpS - It is just our personal taste, but we like doing NIO, ISO, BG, then NOD. For BhVai we can do NOD Southern section! Really is practical development for our service.

We are also regularly reading Bhagavatam Canto 4, and we have completed Chapter 12 and will be starting Chapter 13. We have started reading Bhagavad Gita second time, though not on regular basis.

 I have spoken with some devotees to carry out the magazine for the neighbors of the temple.

 Bhakta Luciano Machiavelli suggested that I go to the municipality to get a permit so that I could set up a table with Prasadam and books near the temple, in this way, meet the neighbors, talk to them, find out their interests, etc.

At the moment I am going out for sankirtan in the afternoons after the temple program. I go to the square in front of the supermarket, since it is the center most frequented by the neighbors and I talk to people, take their contacts and try to make friends with them.

On the other hand prabhu Jagad Guru has proposed to make an invitation to the temple for the neighbors. This includes prasadam and a talk explaining who we are. After that, questions and answers and at the end, show them a preview of the magazine and ask them what they would like to add to it.

 We want to be able to carry out this service, and who knows, maybe this magazine will later expand to all of Chile and can be distributed in sankirtan.

 I remember you said that we can write about what Prabhupada talks about Jesus Christ, we could start with it for Christmas, but I don't know if it will become a magazine in such a short time. maybe we can do some Christmas carols like you said and present them in the plaza.

We hope we get our Microsoft Word program this evening so we can work on projects like this.

He hablado con algunos devotos para llevar a cabo la revista para los vecinos del templo. 

Bhakta Luciano Maquiavelo me propuso ir a la municipalidad para sacar un permiso para así poder poner una mesa con prasadam y libros cerca del templo, de ese modo, conocer a los vecinos, hablar con ellos, saber sus intereses, etc. Yo por el momento estoy saliendo a sankirtan por las tardes luego del programa del templo. Voy a la plaza que queda frente al supermercado, ya que es el centro más concurrido por los vecinos y hablo con las personas, tomo sus contactos y trato de hacer amistad con ellos. 

Por otro lado prabhu Jagad Guru ha propuesto hacer una invitación al templo para los vecinos. Esto incluye prasadam y una charla explicativa de quienes somos. Luego de ello preguntas y respuestas y al finalizar mostrarle un avance de la revista y preguntarles qué les gustaría agregar a ella. 

Deseamos poder llevar a cabo este servicio, y quién sabe, tal vez esta revista luego se expanda a todo Chile y se pueda distribuir en sankirtan.

Recuerdo que usted dijo que podemos escribir sobre lo que Prabhupada habla sobre Jesucristo, podríamos empezar con ello para navidad, pero no se si alcance a ser una revista en tan poco tiempo. tal vez podemos hacer unos villancicos cómo usted dijo y presentarlos en la plaza.

We tried to record a small offering to Maharaja on the day of his Vyasapuja, but got defeated by several circumstances. One is that our computer crashed and we won't get all the programs re-installed until today.

We were thinking a lot about our experiences with Maharaja.

We met him many years ago, maybe 25-when we were both visiting the Dallas Temple. We talked about bringing our Manipur troupe to Mexico.

After that I visited Mexico and was preaching with Maharaja.

Of course, in administration Srila Prabhupada comments that we will have conflicts with our closest friends, but that is the nature of politics, and the real test of our relationship is how we are developing our friendships behind the administration.

Maharaja is always kind to me as a friends and I hope that he feels the same way toward me.

We have the same natures in many ways, and same viewpoints on practical service.

For maybe ten years I have seen Maharaja working on the GBC and I am amazed at how much determined and expert work he does, his humility, determination.

Please try to get us into this media work as you can in the future.

En la carta anterior me hizo un comentario y unas preguntas:

HpS - Tan muchos anyos de viaje amplio, pero abusandolo, y Krsna sacando eso y enforzandonos vivir mas simple en un pueblo, mantener propio sanidad local? Va a ser Alcalde de su region? Introducir Gaura kripa en todos las escuelas Kinder - 12?

Todo esté año fue muy duro para todos.

Es muy difícil dejar de distribuir los libros de Srila Prabhupada, en mi caso lo apropiado seria generar un plan personal para el Sankirtan.

Cuando recien comenzó la cuarentena le comente en una carta la posibilidad de conseguir un auto o movilidad para poder trabajar y con ello comprar libros y regalarlos (sigo manteniendo esa idea). Trabajar en este pueblo de esa manera. Puede funcionar o servir para el Sankirtan (auto , tierras y siembra).

Alcalde??...no necesariamente, pero, en éste pueblo, tenemos un amigo que tiene su partido político y se va lanzar para alcalde, nos pidio que participemos en sus reuniones. Veremos que sucede, mientras tanto le hablamos de Krsna y le damos prasadhan las veces que podemos.

Sigo con mi Sadhana 4 am, a veces no puedo entrar a FMP por falta de internet. Lectura del Bhagavad-Gita (Cap.3). 16 rondas de Japa, cuatro principios regulativos, luchando con mi mente lujuriosa.

No hay lluvia para la siembra y también escasez de agua potable (mucho cambio climatológico).

Grandes posibilidades de que se pierda la siembra, felizmente las flores y el pequeño biohuerto estan bien. Quiero conseguir un terreno con riego, espero conseguirlo algún día...😊👍

In the previous letter he made me a comment and some questions:

HpS - So many years of extensive travel, but abusing it, and Krsna taking that out and enforcing us to live more simply in a village, maintain our own local healing? Are you going to be Mayor of your region? Introduce Gaura kripa in all Kindergarten - 12 schools?

This whole year was very hard for everyone.

It is very difficult to stop distributing Srila Prabhupada's books, in my case the appropriate thing would be to generate a personal plan for Sankirtan. When the quarantine began, I mentioned in a letter the possibility of getting a car or mobility to be able to work and with it buy books and give them away (I still maintain that idea). Working in this town like that. It can work or serve for Sankirtan (car, land and planting).

Mayor ?? ... not necessarily, but in this town, we have a friend who has his political party and is running for mayor, he asked us to participate in his meetings. We will see what happens, meanwhile we talk to him about Krsna and give him prasadhan as often as we can.

HpS - Read Bhisma's instructions to Yuddhisthira with SP's summary in the purports. Then you can make comments to him, no? SB 1.9

I continue with my 4 am Sadhana, sometimes I cannot enter FMP due to lack of internet. Reading of the Bhagavad-Gita (Ch. 3). 16 rounds of Japa, four regulative principles, wrestling with my lusty mind.

HpS - Same for us!!!! Relate lust to service.

There is no rain for planting and also a shortage of drinking water (a lot of weather change).

Great chances that the planting is lost, happily the flowers and the small garden are well. I want to get a land with irrigation, I hope to get it one day ... 😊👍
