The head of the centre asked us to prepare research work on some thing Cognitive Science and Vedas.

They are going to be full fledge institute (more finance). To achieve credibility they need to establish Vedas by research.

They want us to help them in establishing, the vedic /cognitive science laboratory. For which some equipment will be required, which can be purchased if proper justification can be given. For that we need to submit a research proposal.

Recalling basic book on Psychology, Carl Jung seems to belong to Analytical school of Psychology.

It will be helpful, if you know some body, who can help us integrate Carl Jung, Cognitive Science and Vedas From Srila Prabhupada perspective.

HpS - Awk! As we can understand the Cognitive Science perspective seems to tied to neurophysiology. It is like trying to reverse engineer a cell phone and understand the conversation Harsh is having with his family.

It can be valid eg. see if Yogis can grow pizo electric crystals in their pineal glands. Most practical would be to investigate Brahmacaria and Alzheimers disease etc. no?

Definitely we will need able guidance of Bachelor Huber in understanding of Western world of psychology.

Regarding seminars organized by ASA, we will definitely talk, in further meetings.

It will be helpful , if somebody can give us English Pamphlets of "Art and Sacred", " Psych and Sacred", Sankhya, etc

Thank you for sending the Pptx with the cited verses. I’ll cross reference the citations I have with the ppt to see if there are any extra citations we need to add.

I spoke with Radhika Ramana prabhu and he said he’ll add a paragraph to the anvaya explaining the rules of syntax for Sanskrit and how they differ from English syntax order.

He suggested that we should do the index after we finalize the layout. Else it might be lots of rework. He also suggested that we hire some professional for indexing since it is a science in itself. I can try to get started on the index but I agree with him that it will be of good quality if someone who is a professional does it.

HpS - We talked to him for about an hour after you did. It was very nice. Thank you! We should be able to automatically link the Index topics with the pertinent text. Word does that and maybe Indesign. I just want to Index topics that I have found useful.

He also said that you had spoken to him about having Abhirama prabhu do the printing. Once you are done with the editing Gurudeva, I can incorporate those changes in the file and send it to Abhirama prabhu.

HpS - So that he can format it.... and even consider Spanish translation.

With respect to Srila Prabhupada’s biography (comments in our TPP), would you like to add the one in NoI or write something ourselves Guru Maharaja? If we are going to use the one from NoI, we should think about how the copyrights with BBT should be worked out.

HpS - I was just thinking we can make some comments in that part of the Appendices about what a Bh. Vai. should know about SP's life. I think Bh.Vai should have read full Lila-amrta, no?

HpS - I don't think it is too glorious, but hope that it fits in the chorus of SP's Sankirtan. Of course we talke about this but posting it here is super important, because it is an ASA project and the success is the credit of the participation of all the Friends and Members of the Academy.

Note: Darupadi is a great devotee and queen, and she defended Ashwatama in opposition to Krsna's wish that he should die for his crimes. Ashwattama tried to two times to eliminate the descendents of the Pandavas.

Draupadi mentioned that by mercy for Kripi, Ashwattama should not be killed, however, when he was sent into exile, he would no longer see or take care of his mother Kripi, and being true that the soul is eternal, the execution of Ashwattama would have been the most appropriate thing to do than leave him in exile for such a long time. Is there a mission for Ashwttama or plan that he didn't complete in this world?

Please excuse me my intelligence is not deep yet to understand these issues.

HpS - As we understand, Krsna was not completely dissatisfied with him. Asv. knew that his own father loved Arjuna more than he loved him, Asv. That's tough thing for a boy to accept. Then, after his father taught Arjuna all his most confidential knowledge, what did Arj, Pandavas do. They tircked, his father, killed him...

.... So it might seem that for Asv. to go temporarily insane was not unjustified, but he made too many mistakes for the son of a Brahmana, and so Krsna was satisfied that he was chastised like he was.

Guess he came to his senses and accepted that punishment.

So it is all justified.

Maybe Pandavas all saying, "You are more than us. You accepted chastisement for your sins, and now that is O.K."

In the next Satya yuga he will still be alive and will be given the honor of being the father of the next race of Ksatriyas.

Mixed good and bad guy like us??

Twelve preparations! [ARTD organized lecture program with Nirantara Das for Radha Madana bihari's Yatra! 👍 ]

+2.15-3.30PM was our evening walking/talking with NgD! Some rain. Used our Jagannatha umbrella from Mayesvara Das and CCD/Sbra DD. Flashed all the cars that passed with the "Black Man's" B I G Smile.

+Finished the DTC(p) dedicated to H. G. Vatsala Das and M. Sasikala Devi Dasi et al.
