HpS - It was very nice. We could not follow the Spanish too well but what we heard was very animating. We are always being confused by Maya devi about the importance and character of hearing about Krsna!!!!!!!!!! Declarations like hers remind us...

I need to know your opinion regarding my stay in the temple.

I want to travel to Peru, apparently I will have to wait until I can get the vaccine, I have heard that in June everyone will be vaccinated in Chile.

I wanted to ask you if I can travel to be with my family this time, or if I better stay serving in the temple as I have been doing.

At home it is difficult to lead a spiritual life, in the temple we are protected, getting up early and singing good rounds is easier.

In the temple I feel guilty when I make music, write, sing, etc. I am uncomfortable thinking that I may upset others or that I am not doing practical temple service, instead doing selfish practice.

On the other hand, at home I have the freedom to advance in these aspects, but we know that I become an easy prey for Maya.

I am concerned about not being able to serve you in these areas, I am not very expert yet and I think that I should have more experience, tools and artistic material.

I would love to advance the book that connects Don Quixote and the Vedas, maybe record a film or documentary with my father and work on the first musical album. There is so much that can be done, but I am willing to put it off if you want me to remain here in the temple until it is time to travel.

HpS - ASA -- It sounds like both situations are needed. You just have to balance them at this stage. Later you will see how they are related to each other and it will be natural to use them both. Talk with Temple authorities and work out some practical schedule of visiting your family for working with them. That would be our suggestion.

Necesito saber su opinión respecto a mi estadía en el templo.

Quiero viajar a Perú, al parecer tendré que esperar hasta que pueda ponerme la vacuna, he escuchado que en junio ya todos estarán vacunados en Chile.

Quería preguntarle si es que puedo viajar a estar con mi familia este tiempo, o si mejor me quedo sirviendo en el templo cómo lo he estado haciendo.

En casa es difícil llevar vida espiritual, en el templo estamos protegidos, levantarse temprano y cantar buenas rondas se da con mayor facilidad.

En el templo me siento culpable cuando hago música, escribo, canto, etc. Me incómodo al pensar que puedo molestar a los demás o que no estoy haciendo servicio práctico para el templo, en vez de ello hago una práctica egoísta.

En cambio en casa tengo la libertad de poder avanzar en estos aspectos, pero sabemos que me vuelvo presa fácil de maya.

Me preocupa no estar apto para servirle en estas áreas, no soy muy experto todavía y pienso que debo tener mayor experiencia, herramientas y material artístico.

Me encantaría avanzar en el libro que conecte el Quijote y los vedas, tal vez grabar una película o documental junto a mi padre y trabajar en el primer disco musical. Hay tanto que se puede hacer, pero estoy dispuesto a postergarlo si usted quiere que siga aquí en el templo hasta el momento de viajar.

As you have seen Jambavan das is joining the FMP for over a month. I asked him to lead the program the second Sunday of each month. We rehearse once. Besides that I sent to him the document that all the leaders of FMP should know.

So he will be leading next Sunday.

I hope he did not sing like the picture I am attaching :)

He will follow the rules and instructions of the FMP

We had pretty good Sankirtan today.

Of course, last night after our walk we were hit very quickly by the strongest headache we have had in our life. Maybe impacted lower bowels. Maybe not. (Ha! Ha! Hare!). This body is an embarrassment for boys or girls.

. .We tried to rest, do light work, and by 4.30AM it was down to 50% and is down to 5% now, but still ready to spring back if we spend any more time on this machine.

• Listened to the Hawaii class. Very nice.
• Wrote a five of six page letter to Subal sakha and Krsna pramodini Devi Dasi in Rich Mond.
• Fixed our brake light etc. etc.

Pandemic and the Future of ISKCON Temples

Our theory (Brown and White, after asking Uncle Gismo) is that this Karuna virus is the mercy of God on ISKCON and the world, so that people will stop destroying the world (to soon) with industrialization, and start moving back to local living and high thinking.

Science worked liked expensive asses to fight it and show their might,

but now the little natural reaction of the virus to mutate,

and all their effort may go out as trash.

People are starting to live together again as two and three generation families.

Buy bigger houses.

Buy a whole block and take out the backyard fences!!

Base you life in a village. Any visitors can stay in the guest house outside the village gate for two weeks if there is a pandemic.

ISKCON temples should obtain orchards and start to move in that direction with alacrity.

Also, we Tom Brown and Buck White, consulting Uncle Gismo, propose that when the 17-year Cicada cycle brings those noisy devils out this year in Tennessee there is a 75% chance that they will sterilize the whole local atmosphere (maybe five States) from the virus and the material scientists will be forced to be a lot more humble and say that they really need some broader look at nature, that their system is just not including all this reality.

HpS - Three weeks to answer this letter! This body does not get diseases, this body is a disease. My body is a 73-year old disease. My car is a 21 year old Mercedes. The power-train is excellent, but the luxury items like electric windows and even thermostat on the room heater don't work. Okay. We fix it so that it will work for a few more years and then pass it on to the next generation.

Someone might ask you how old is your disease [body].

First of all I want to apologize for my vague communication through this medium, but we always hold you in our thoughts, hearts and service, always looking forward to your association. I want to thank you for all your service, because thanks to the technology and the devotees who spread on social networks, we can listen to your classes daily, thank you very much for your constant service and mercy to us, thank you for your example of perseverance and trustworthy faith in Srila Prabhupada Guru Maharaja.

It has been a long time since my last letter, at that time we were in service in a temple restaurant and without a pandemic.

The pandemic arrives and we remain at the mercy of the Lord, as Prabhu Lalita Madhava Das has already commented to your esteemed self, now we are delivering prasadam, almost from Monday to Monday we work, they have been months with ups and downs, but we managed to survive. We have not yet finalized our marriage union due to the eternal waiting lists for the pandemic, we have been constant despite everything, supporting each other and being exemplary for each other.

HpS - Your report to just this point makes you an example to the whole universe. [Maybe your were married as god and goddess in your previous life 😎]. Chile is blessed by such ISKCON.

I am going to the temple to do garland service once a week and that gratifies our heart and spirit, although the allergy keeps us very bad for more or less three days, we have daily association with Raman Reti Devi Dasi with his audio books very good service, very active in reading.

Hoping that this year we can have your association in person.

Regarding what we have been talking about about the visa.

Yes, I have a Bachelor's degree. 🙂

Yes I have father and mother two Brothers and one sisters..

My mother and father live together in Buenos Aires both are retired but still are working. Mother is bilingual secretary in a private School and father work with my brother in odontology dentures..

My elder brother has registered me as a worker with tax contributions with the country. I could get a work certificate for a few years possibly to present if necessary.

Surely we are not going to get the visa for tomorrow but if we start the process we may get it for when you return from your next trip to Peru. And possibly we can meet in Peru and work on the subject.

HpS - ASA - Yes, we dream sometime of a B'catri like you here and the things that we could do. It is a fact that I should not drive anymore, but also a good strategy seems to be to get the second Karuna-virus shot on March 15th and then see if we can go to Peru by Rama-navami, 21st April.. Actually it would be good to get there by first week in April so that we can be in quarantine for two weeks.

It would be good to get a one year visa as a teacher, and start a rural project, New Asoka Van, where everyone could visit (after two weeks in the garden house just outside the village gate). Maybe in Vallejo Sagrado???

Then maybe three months back in the USA. Three months in Spain, and then New Asokavan in Radha kunda and then. . .  Hare Krsna.
