I want to first apologize for not writing sooner.

You sent me the TPP edited document a couple of weeks back and I went through a little bit of the edited document only today.

Last couple of weeks have been crazy. My father in law got COVID in India. He lives in Nagpur and there was sever shortage of beds, oxygen cylinders and other medication. Divya Sri's cousin took him in a car at 5 am in the morning and after trying to get beds in several hospitals, finally got a bed at 8 pm. In the mean time we were calling people who were selling oxygen cylinders from here to get something. Thank fully by Krishna's mercy, he is discharged now and is doing fine.

We had several devotees from Krishna House visit us this week and a few of them tested positive for COVID. Now the temple is back to lockdown again for a week. I feel too much of my environment and mind space is occupied with COVID rather than Krishna katha. Thankfully, with the service of teaching the Bhakti Sastri course, where we are currently doing Chapters 7-12, the association with Bhagavad Gita and Srila Prabhupada's purports are at least helping me contemplate on Krishna rather than just COVID.

But I can definitely feel that my Sadhana standards have dropped over the last two months. I feel very fatigued both physically and mentally. We are somehow pushing through because of your mercy.

I think the TPP has come out really well. I like how you have changed the font size of the pull-in quotes. It is now very clear to differentiate/visualize your commentary from the quotes. I have some thoughts on the other steps that need to be taken to publish the book. I would like you feedback on them.

1. Can we forward this to Abhirama Prabhu so that he can start typesetting? That way he can show you samples and we can finalize the formatting and design in parallel and when you finish the rest of the editing, the typesetting will be done very quickly since we have finalized the design.
2. We also need to think about the front and back cover design. Should we ask devotees in the blog to send in their designs from which you can choose Guru Maharaja? If we can do these things in parallel, we can get the book out as soon as your editing is complete.

HpS - ASA - We just sent another copy with our new edits to you and Art Das and R. R. Das today. Largely so that it doesn't get lost. We've edited all the Texts and most of the Appendices. Need to finish our ASA index and the BhVai question bank. We did more format editing.

Any comments are very nice, but if no time then after we finish the Appendices we can talk with ArtDas about the format. He is professional.

I wanted to tell you about my efforts to develop my artistic skills. I am dedicating an hour to this every day, there are days when I cannot for the services, like today for example (03.05.21). And if possible, at night, before going to sleep, I also practice or study something related to it.

I have taken 4 practices and I have put them in order of importance, relating it to my abilities and the well-being that this activity generates.

1.- Writing (40%)

I am writing a fictional story. I make an analogy with the material and spiritual world. It speaks from reincarnation to the relationship with "the best friend", taking the essential concepts of the BG. The material world is a desert, and the spiritual world is a beautiful island. The protagonist constantly changes form and is locked up as a stranger, but he is freed by a monkey that takes him in a boat with 5 sails and 1 rudder, crossing the ocean, to the supreme destination. Then the character returns to the desert to help other animals.

I have already finished the draft, and I am thinking of rewriting the story but as poetry, and next to each poem, there can be an illustration. Maybe it will be like a children's book. 4.- Acting - Clown (10%)

I'm watching tutorials on clown. At the moment I am learning to express my emotions in front of a mirror and I am planning to create 4 characters that help to explain: the three modalities of material nature, the 4 varna and asramas, and everything that improvisation allows me. Each clown with a different colored nose. (we can use the colors of the different incarnations of the different yugas, ahaaaa!🌐)

Quería contarle sobre mis esfuerzos por desarrollar mis habilidades artísticas. Estoy dedicándole una hora a esto a diario, hay días en que no puedo por los servicios, como hoy por ejemplo (03.05.21). Y si se puede, por la noche, antes de dormir, también practico o estudio algo en relación a ello.

He tomado 4 prácticas y las he puesto en orden de importancia, relacionándolo con mis habilidades y el bienestar que me genera realizar esa actividad.

1.- Escritura (40%)

Estoy escribiendo una historia de ficción. Hago una analogía con el mundo material y el espiritual. Habla desde la reencarnación hasta la relación con "el mejor amigo", tomando los conceptos esenciales del BG. El mundo material es un desierto, y el espiritual una isla hermosa. El protagonista cambia constantemente de forma y lo encierran por extraño, pero es liberado por un mono que lo lleva en un bote de 5 velas y 1 timón, atravesando el océano, hasta el destino supremo. Luego el personaje regresa al desierto para ayudar a otros animales.

Ya terminé el borrador, y estoy pensando en reescribir la historia pero a manera de poesía, y al lado de cada poema, puede ir una ilustración. Tal vez quede como un libro para niños. Debo pensar a quién va a ir dirigido. A veces los libros para niños también abarcan todas las edades, como el principito por ejemplo.

1.1 Don Quijote

Creo que necesito terminar los libros de Srila Prabhupada para poder escribir un libro que relacione las historias de nuestra literatura con esta obra clásica de la lengua española, Además de seguir estudiando El Quijote.

2.- Música (30%)

Cómo usted dijo: Trovador.

Creo que ese va a ser el vehículo más práctico en este viaje. Se me hace fácil hacerlo y me permite poder crear muchas obras sin mucha producción instrumental.

Invertí bastante laksmi de mis ahorros en comprar equipos para estos objetivos, creo que fue una buena inversión. Ahora tengo un equipo de producción musical, de ilustración y audiovisual portátil, con la idea de poder viajar con el y poder ayudarle en estos aspectos en la película u otro servicio que necesite.

Es impresionante lo que se puede hacer con un controlador MIDI (es como un piano pequeño) y un software en el computador. Puedo crear canciones y ambientaciones con un nivel impresionante, es genial, son instrumentos virtuales generados de grabaciones de instrumentos reales.

CANCIONES VAISNAVAS.

Ya está lista Udilo Aruna, solo falta grabarla. La escribí 3 veces, de maneras diferentes, ahora ya estoy satisfecho (pero usted sabe que un poema nunca se termina, solo se para de hacerlo). Antes de lanzar cada trabajo musical, se la mando a un grupo de devotos para que las revisen y vean si es que hay algún error filosófico o de otro tipo.

He pensado en tomar toda la obra de Bhaktivinoda Thakura e ir interpretando cancionero por cancionero. ¿cree que sea buena idea? ¿tal vez hay canciones que no debería interpretar?

Creo que a veces todas estas canciones no serán muy entendidas por todas las personas, por lo que he pensado que también pueda crear canciones con un contenido más asimilable, con conceptos básicos y claros.

3.- Ilustración (20%)

Tengo una tableta digitalizadora y compré un curso para aprender a ilustrar en Photoshop. A parte también de comprar un curso sobre marketing digital, el cual ya vengo estudiando hace un tiempo.

Voy avanzando de a poco en la ilustración, pero creo que traerá buenos resultados.

4.- Actuación - Clown (10%)

Estoy viendo tutoriales sobre clown. Por el momento estoy aprendiendo a expresar mis emociones frente a un espejo y estoy ideando crear 4 personajes que ayuden a explicar: las tres modalidades de la naturaleza material, los 4 varna y asramas, y todo lo que la improvisación me permita. Cada payaso con una nariz de diferente color. (podemos usar los colores de las diferentes encarnaciones de los distintos yugas, ¡ajáaaa! 🌐)
