Here we are at Sri Govardhan, struggling to continue with our spiritual life. We think we have a pretty decent life!!

HpS-ASA - Here at New Ashoka van, AGTSP!, we are also struggling, but maybe not as hard as you because you may be more sincere than we are, and we guess that Radha and the Gopis are also struggling!! 🙂

I want to ask you what do you envision for this Ayurvedic Symposium so I can prepare accordingly.

We arrive to Peru on February 13th. We are coordinating everything with Abhiram Prabhu!!

I hope I can be of some utility to your glorious Sankirtan!!

HpS - We were thinking we might do something with Rupa-anuga Das and we still think that way, but now that he is no longer in the local gross body we could try to access his association in a different way. We can try to get Eric, his esteemed son, and others to inform us of his papers, books, library etc. and try to generate some inheritance from those.

Other than that I think a general discussion will be good for the movie.

Do you have some specific goals that have motivated you to come?

Of course, we can connect with the Argentinian yatra, and now we are starting to communicate with Bernardo Nantes about Jung and the Bhakti-siddhanta, so you might like to get involved in that.

We can also discuss rural development. Vedic civilization and the modern world.

HpS - Basis is Sankirtan. Thank Lord Caitanya, Parampara, by Sankirtan. Basis of that is 16-enthusiastic rounds and four principles strictly! .... Rest follows naturally. 🙂

Im chanting my japa with more enthusiasm than ever, it is maybe because of your mercy and the blessings of the devotees, that it seems that finally we can see the ligth. (maya maya)

As you always tell me in last letters, we are trying to do it well. So, we already gave one more step. We talked with my parents and they gave us blessing to get married. So, next thing is to have a piggy bank for a small meeting for our families and have a civil wedding, then fire wedding. Too much plans and new horizons are coming.

Guru Maharaja, in the last Kapi Dvaja you mention about not finding my recomendation letter, so here it is. 👩🏼‍🦯

HpS - Thank you. What we needed was your secular name and date of birth. Asta sakhi Devi Dasi sent it to the Blog in another letter and we posted the updated www.jayarama.us/kd/guru-tattva.txt file. Globat, our internet provider, has been really slow. It took us 1-hour (!) to open the four webpages necessary to up date it, but that was O.K. because it allowed us to go from 20 to 25-rounds!! Our goal is 50-rounds per day.

I give you the report of the Symposium, I hope I am not overlooking any important information.

Goals

• To consolidate ASA's efforts in education: the different branches were integrated (ASA Carnaval, Argentina and Chile. Why not ASA Peru???)), who contributed in advertising and transmiting the event in social media / ASA also contributed with their member's dedicated presentations (SS Hanumatpresaka Swami, LAD, Candramukhi dd, Priya Sakhi dd and Gandharva das) / and cooperated with MOE representatives organizing the event.
• NIOS participated as sponsor and support (mainly in the hands of ARTD, with whom a fluid and effective coordination was maintained).
• The development [of] the 3 major topics proposed by you (Who is an educated man? What are the Steps on the Educational Ladder? Books are the Basis, The Bhaktivedanta Library, Srila Prabhupada's Four Diplomas. Daivi Varna Ashrama Dharma.

ASA - This is more than three topics! 🐵

• The presence of the MOE in the region is consolidating, presenting itself as an institution sincerely interested in education development, with initiative and the support of a work team that carried out the project.
• It has been possible to form a community of educators and devotees committed in education service, as a result of the event, the Facebook page is maintained with 190 members.

Technical information:

• 20 event days / 19 participants / 4 presenters / 3 translators / between 30 and 60 devotees attending each day

To improve:

• There were presentations that repeated part of their content (curator error).
• There was some inexperience in handling broadcasts on Zoom and Facebook (we have learned a lot!).
• We consider that the event can last half the time for future occasions.
• Simultaneous translations can be substantially improved to integrate English-speaking devotees.
• The lack of interest on the part of the authorities was overwhelming. The authorities of Chile and Bolivia participated permanently, but they were the exception.

What follows:

• First of all, talk with you and receive your instructions and suggestions in this regard (we will be in Chosica from February 3 to 12).

HpS - Of course, with Pandemic etc this will not happen, but we had and excellent discussion with Bali-mardana Das and now we will work on PanAmerican symposia: Preliminary from Houston (within March 7th-17th) and Robust first week in June from Boise, Idaho.

We need more meetings, maybe periodical, web page.

We will visit Spain July to October.

• A permanent committee composed of the 4 representatives and 4 education leaders will be created to develop the necessary strategies.

HpS - Super! Please introduce them in the Blog!!!

• A way will be sought to further integrate the educational community in Latin America, through other similar events, seminars, diplomas and the training of new teachers.
• The possibility of publishing an online magazine (every three months) that provides information and constitutes a basis for reflection on these issues is being analyzed in order to attract more devotees committed to this service.
• Find a way to integrate and involve local authorities, who are not very interested in educational development.

I read the letter you recently posted on the blog about "Waves of Devotion", telling us that Param Padam prabhu has a copy of the eastern part already translated into Spanish.

So, I wrote to him and he sent me the copy.

Also I wanted to inform you that Isvari Radha mataji got an English pdf versión and shared it with us, but after reviewing it we realized that this pdf version is not complete either.

So, I have written to H.H Dhanurdhara maharaja asking him for a digital full versión of the book. I am waiting for his reply.

HpS - There is a letter from LaD about this that we just published. We should have answered this letter earlier but it slipped past us.

We hope to be of more use in the future.

Even if we cannot help, don't give up on thsi project!

In the last days I have been talking with some devotees asking them if they want to participate in the project and finally we have conformed a team of five devotees: Mitravinda dd, Apsara Gopi dd, Rohini dd, Isvari Radha dd and Sita Lalita dd.

HpS - Maybe LaD can help, or he may feel that Abhinandana Das can join.

We were about to start the translation of the eastern part of the book until I read your recent letter on the Blog.

LAD has not contacted me yet.
