We stayed awake all night, last night, and then pushed through until class but started having more and more intense headache, so we rested instead of organizing the SB class. We talked to Upendra about the class and heard that Art Das organized, Upendra and Laksmana organized his presentation and Radhika ramana Das talked more about the Vedas Personified.

In the previous letter you mentioned that the fire ceremony is not necessary, rather that I send a photo of my dad and a little information about him, but I could not shorten it, please forgive me. I am a conditioned soul. From the bottom of my heart, thank you very much for this mercy. 

My dad Gilberto Rendón was a writer of literature for children and young people beginning in 1973. He was a contributor and co-author of the free fourth and sixth grade geography textbooks. His stories, some of his books were adapted to the theater. Premio Castillo de la Lectura 2003 por La saga de los jugadores de pelota. White Ravens 2000 por Los cuatro amigos de siempre y en 1991 por Cuentos para dormir, soñar y despertar.

He was an excellent father, he taught me to be helpful and truthful. He always put his family first, giving everything and keeping little or nothing for himself. He is one of the most cultured and wonderful people I have ever met, but that was not enough to make him surrender to Krishna.

If I could pass my accumulated spiritual points to him (not many, but it is something) I would do so without hesitation.

A Letter from Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura

"I am overjoyed to hear that your enthusiasm for chanting is increasing. As our contaminations are removed by chanting, the Lord's form, qualities, and pastimes will be revealed to us in the holy name. There is no point in making a separate effort to artificially remember the Lord's form, qualities, and pastimes. The Lord and His name are one and the same. This will be understood clearly when the coverings in your heart are removed.

By chanting without offenses you will personally realize that all perfections come from the holy name. Through chanting, the distinction that exists between the self, and the gross and subtle bodies, is gradually effaced and one realizes one's own spiritual form. Once aware of the spiritual body, as one continues to chant, one sees the transcendental nature of the Lord's form.

Only the holy name reveals the spiritual form of the living being and then causes him to be attracted to Krsna's form. Only the holy name reveals the spiritual qualities of the living being and then causes him to be attracted to Krsna's qualities. Only the holy name reveals the spiritual activities of the living being and then causes him to be attracted to Krsna's pastimes.

By service to the holy name we do not mean only the chanting of the holy name; it also includes the other duties of the chanter. If we serve the holy name with the body, mind, and soul, then the direction of that service spontaneous manifests like the sun in the clear sky of the chanter's heart. What is the nature of the holy name?

Eventually all these understandings spontaneously appear in the heart of one who chants the holy name. The true nature of hari-nama is revealed by listening to, reading, and studying the scriptures. It is unnecessary to write anything further on this subject. All these things will be revealed to you through chanting."

I do not deserve at all this mercy, but maybe Krsna is feeling compassionate seeing my struggle and is inspiring you so much that you care so much for us ❤️🙏. Your love is sunshine in our life 🙏. I will and am trying my absolute best without leaving my heart behind to follow every single syllable you may utter for us, so we don't take one minute longer than needed from your utmostly valuable time. You are tolerating us so much 🙏, I just cannot believe the impudence of our hearts. I feel so deeply ashamed of myself that I'm not able to surrender completely to such love 🙏. My heart wants to say, I can do anything for you, because my desire for this loving relationship is so much more valuable than anything else. Im trying very hard to wake up early morning to chant so that I may see clearly how to serve, but am suffering from insomnia, so sometimes after staying up all night i chant a bit in Brahma muhurta and then manage to fall asleep somehow in early morning 🙏. I know this is the only cure 🙏. Still I'm so sinful, I'm aghast that I'm not able to follow _/\o_ this simple advice still. Please pray for us 🙏.

HpS - I, we all, face the same challenges in different degrees, no? Arjuna must have had a little insomnia after cutting off the heads of some of his nephews in the Battle of Kuruksetra.

I can already see Krsna conscious solutions to these conflicts for several different directions that these things might go.
