Hare Krsna Gurudev

-According to what we talked about Asa audiovisual in the last meeting, reviewing the list of videos and the DTC-UT powerpoints that we already have, I find that it is not necessary for you to send the Gotomeeting files. We can do it with the Asa Carnaval + Power point audios and achieve the same quality.

-We changed the covers to English of Inter-religious Dialogue.

-We cut the beginning of all the videos and only leave the first recitation of the verse.

Today we have:

1-DTC-UT- ID: 4 sessions available on Youtube

2-DTC-UT-BVL: 3 sessions available on youtube

3-DTC-UT-C & V: 3 sessions. Edited 40%

4-DTC-UT- LM: 2 sessions. ready to Editing

5-DTC-UT- FA: 1 session: ready to editing

Questions

-We are not sure what to do with the Upendra classes, we think it would be good to cut it out of the DTC-UT and make a compilation of his readings separately. What do you think?

HpS - Yes!! 😐

-About the special session on World Literature-Ramayana that you gave by Zoom for Iskcon Huston. Do you think it would be good to include it?

HpS - At this time, no.

Madavendra Puri has a much better internet connection and he is helping us to upload the videos.

ASA - He is great benefactor of poor, weak people like us.

Please let us know what we can improve.

ASA - Nothing now. The channel is 100% better. We are sending university graduates there already.

Thank you very much for engage us in this beautiful service and please excuse our limitations.

ASA - Our obeisances attached. We are very, very, very encouraged to go on living by your efforts!! Best wishes for your Sankirtan,

3 years, 10 months ago by bhaktapiero in Special Category A

ENG

Hare Krishna Gurudeva

Please accept my respectful obeisances

All glories to Srila Prabhupada

I wish you are in good health, the body is a disease, but as Srila Prabhupada said, we make good use of this bad bargain.

Well, I have some ideas for the book project that connects Don Quixote de la Mancha with the Vedas.

I thought it would be interesting to ask yourself this question:

What if Don Quixote had read the Vedas?

As a result, I thought: we can start the book from the end, just before Don Quixote left his body.

It could be that somehow a trunk arrived from the East with some very old texts (vedas), to Don Quixote's house. He was a lover of reading, so in a short time he devoured all the texts.

ASA - Vedas would be incomprehensible... Mahabharata, BG, SB.

After that Don Quixote begins to remember all his adventures, and in this way each story can be connected with the Bhaktivedanta perspective.

I have some proposals to analyze for some of the Don Quixote chapters, themes that can be dealt with:

Volume 1

C3-meditation on his beloved to ask for help

C 13 - to whom you direct your triumphs

C 14 - love must be free

C 17 - Elixir of Recovery

C 21 - greed for a kingdom

C 25 - penances for his love

C 26 - prayer of ave maria

C 30 - fidelity to his beloved

C 39,40,41 - escape for his beloved

# release of prisoners

C46 - Cage of Don Quixote

C 52 - procession

---

Volume 2

C1 - documented evidence of the knights (sastra)

C8 - control of the senses

C 11 - Sancho is insulted and Quixote wants revenge, but Sancho stops him

C 12 - Life as a comedy

C 13 - Sancho speaks in a good way about his boss

C 16-Don Quixote convinces an errant not to frustrate his son's dream of being a poet (to follow nature)

C 18- sancho's sadness after leaving the abundance of the stay with a character

C 22 - doing clean business

C 26 - protector of the weak

C 27 - principles of a ksatriya, when to use violence

C 30 - don quixote meditates on his love

C 36 - the exemplary character of a king

C 42 - # Don quixote advises sancho how to be a good ruler

C 44-DQ reaffirms his fidelity to Dulcinea

C 60-The bandit kills whoever does not comply with his wishes (demon)

C 67 - life of shepherds

C 71 - pain for enjoyment

Well, they are just ideas, I did this by analyzing a summary of both volumes.

In this way, after Don Quixote remembers all the events, thanks to the wisdom of the Vedas, he is "sane" again, and leaves his body understanding the madness in which he was immersed, but perhaps that also takes away many interesting aspects of the work, which are related to its nobility, justice, etc ... Well, I would like to know what you think, what you suggest, how you would like us to carry out this service, etc.

Thank you very much Gurudeva for allowing me to do this, I know I can do it if I have mercy on him, Srila Prabhupada and all the parampara.

My obeisances

Piyari mohan das

HpS-ASA - It is very good work and I do not know DQ well enough to make any comment. Hope some devotee will read this and make a comment.

We thought of something like a wandering Sannyasi gets to Iberia and meets Cervantes and they have discussions.

More than themes I would suggest identifying specific storys in DQ and then have Sannyasi/Poet give contrasting SB storys.

Hare Krsna.

Harere Krishna Gurudeva

Hare Krsna Beloved Gurudeva:

AGTSP, pamho

I have realized that you are answering letters from the Blog right now. I am checking some papers from my students.

As you know once a month I give classes for Iskcon Chosica.

ASA-TB/BW - Did not know!! Monkey/Piggy brains. Congratulations.

On Saturdays the ladies give classes. So I was doing one lesson plan that includes besides the SB' verse one thing related to "Stri Dharma" I checked on the ASA files. Due to I can recall that when we were studying BV we did some Biodata that included M Kunti, Gandhari, etc. But now I can not find them.

Do you have any other suggestion besides including some Stri Dharma in my classes?

Thanks in advance

Your association is superb

I was listening to some classes about humility I found this one from HH Radhanath Swami:

Boise programs (continued)

3 years, 10 months ago by Nick Delffs in Calendar Development

Hare Krishna Guru Deva, please accept my respectful obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

Thank you for this wonderful outline. All of these ideas sound really nice.

Yes, you can refer anyone who is interested in coming to Boise for your visit to me. I used to work for an air B and B property manger to company so I will contact my old boss about getting a place for devotees. Also, there is a hotel not far from the temple that is clean, affordable and that is ran by a person favorable to devotees. So yes I can help visiting devotees find good accommodations.

White water rafting would be great. I can look into this right away. The Payette river is so nice.

Yes, park programs!

We will start working on the Anniversary of installation of Radha Bankibihari program. I have contacted all three of the wonderful personalities you have listed about this. One of the greatest bridges indeed! Gauranga and great potatoes! Maybe we could serve Gauranga potatoes..

Thank you for engaging me, Maharaja. Very much looking forward to your visit.

I will send an out line of the preposed schedule soon.

Your aspiring servant,

-Nitisara das

P.S. Thank you for your ideas on how to improve our Monday program Chi Gong and Kirtan. Great ideas! Do you have any suggestions for the types of flags? Should they be colorful and plain. Should they have any design element? What were the flags like at Lord Chaitanya and Lord Nityananda’s programs?

ASA-TB - AgtSP Thank you SNsD! Sample flag-Kirtan attached. Go ahead as descibed with Great Vigor!!
