Hare krishna dear Guru Maharaja, pamho agtsp.

How are you doing so far? I could see you had a nice vyasa puja fesival sorrounded by your dear most disciples; It is good to commemorate this special day, I guess your endeavour activities to serve god worth it. I am doing ok, still living in the far south part of Mexico City were my dad was born. I just wanted to offer my respectful obeisances unto you.

Where is the little Prahlad? Is he chastised? How about the lovely Hanuman deity? I hope you are doing very well, I keep away from the temple, but I talk to some friends once in a while. All people are important for me, as devotees call people karmies, we are miscreants, so we all have an important value, we have a personal identity, whether we believe in god or not; of course when one is more conscious of valuable and spiritual things, one is above in thinking, it depends on the reasoning too.

Ok just wanted to say hi, I attach some pictures I took myself in my most inner moments by 1990-1995 when I was your only student, I miss that close approaching when I could write personal letters and have a personal training.I hope we can have another programme over.

En una clase usted dio un ejemplo de como se deberia honrrar la etiqueta vaishnava con nuestros superiores y cito una experiencia propia que tuvo con uno de sus hermanos espirituales que estaba casado y que fue iniciado un dia antes que usted, cuando usted daba la clase el ingreso a escuchar su charla, y siguiendo la etiqueta usted ofrecio sus reverencias y pidio un asiento mas elevado para su hermano espiritual.

Siguiendo su ejemplo en una clase del Srimad Bhagavatam que me toco dar en Nueva Vrajamandala, asistio Maharaja Yadhunandana ademas de otros devotos mayores, motivo por el cual no me sente en el vyasasana y para dar la clase me sente en el suelo, asi como lo hacian todos los devotos mayores y Yadhunandana Swami, al finalizar la clase hubo un reclamo de parte de la madre Mahalaxmi a Maharaja Yadhunandana del porque no use el vyasasana y yo explique que siguiendo su ejemplo, la etiqueta vaishnava seria que mi persona no usara un asiento mas elevado al que tenian ellos, pero ella insistio en que para dar las clases uno debe usar el vyasasana, entonces maharaja Yadhunandana me dijo que consulte a usted cual debe ser mi forma de actuar en estos casos, mantengo un asiento igual a mis superiores o para las clases puedo usar el vyasasana y tener un asiento mas elevado al de mis superiores???

Querido Guru Maharaja:

Siguiendo sus órdenes y encaminando mi vida hacia tomar sannyasa a los 50 años, tengo concluido el curso Bhakti Sastri, pero entre los muchos requisitos para entrar en la lista de sannyasis, además del curso concluido de Bhakti Sastri solicitan que debo ser recomiendo por un miembro del GBC y ademas contar con 5 recomendaciones de 5 devotos mayores de ISKCON (por ejemplo: sannyasis, GBCs, presidentes de templo, etc.)

Ya van a ser tres años que estoy en Nueva Vrajamandala, y el Supervisor Zonal de España que sería un miembro del GBCs solo vino a la finca una vez el año 2019, ni sabe que existo ya que cuando vino estaba haciendo servicio en la cocina y sus reuniones fueron en los horarios que hacia servicio, motivo por el cual no podría recomendarme ya que ni me conoce y con esta pandemia no se si vuelva a estar por España ya que las reuniones que tiene con Yadhunandana Maharaja son por vía online.

A fines del 2021 nos visitó Prahladananda Maharaja, quien hasta donde tengo entendido es el Ministro de Sannyasis, por lo que solicite una entrevista para ver cómo debo viabilizar mi tramite, a fin de poder cumplir con todos los requisitos antes mencionados, después de exponerle mi situación me dijo lo siguiente:

1)     Desde mi servicio como cocinero de las deidades y ayudante del goshala, esta difícil que desarrolle un proyecto en ISKCON.

2)     Me explico que tanto en Mayapur como en Vrindavan existen lugares apropiados para entrenar sannyasis.

Por lo antes expuesto tengo las siguientes consultas

1.- ¿ A fin de que algún miembro del GBCs pueda recomendarme y ademas sea conocido por presidentes de templos o sannyasis, sería necesario cambiar de servicio y país?

2.- ¿ Este entrenamiento que un sannyasi recibe en Mayapur o Vrindavan, cuando me recomienda hacerlo?

3.- ¿Tambien me dijo que predique en ingles, por lo que pienso que seria ideal convivir entre devotos de habla inglesa, ya que en españa todo el mundo me habla en español y me resulta mas dificil practicar dicho idioma?

Sorry for delay in reply and reason behind delay:

I always feel that I should not waste your valuable time, so I write only when essential. I took some time to reply as I was really not getting any clear understanding of what to do.

please remove these part before publishing on monkeywarrior.com... * However past few incidents helped me understand that I better fit in a position with loose connection with ISKCON management and focus more in preaching through education. A short history of what happened.. - I was preaching in Darbhanga, but then I was told to come out of that place, some other devotees were put for that project. I was doing some little preaching in Patna, I was removed from the position and some other devotee is put with assurance that I can also preach but no practical help. Now I am fed up with ISKCON management. I need at least one fixed place from where I can't be removed and I may assist preaching at other place. Today, with help of another devotee, we went to a temple in a village. I have planned to serve the deities there- Sri Sri Sita Ram Laxman and Hanuman, which will also provide me opportunity to preach to villagers and a fixed place as my preaching base. I have planned to preach there while keeping a loose touch or at least some basic reporting to ISKCON management. *

Previously I has asked your permission for having a personal Gaur Nitai deities. Somehow I didn't execute that. But as the deities in this temple are of Sri Sri Sita Ram, I desperately want to have Radha Krishna deities and serve Them. But I need your permission and blessings for it.

Study Progress:

Because of Pandemic, we have been auto promoted to second year of MA (Sanskrit). So, if I am able to devote some time for it, I can easily manage to get Masters Degree in Sanskrit. I hope it would make my plans for research easier - either through BRC or IGNOU or any other option.

please accept my humble obeisances, All glories to the Vaisnava’s!

Just needed to thank you for your time and patience during our visit to Peru, was an event I’ll always cherish.

My western mentality still surfaces, though your mercy has brought some good out of this old brain. The filming and organizing of your sojourn at New Asoka Van in San Eulalia was most focused, yet flexible to the peculiarities of the environment. Between barking dogs and dawdling disciples, you kept the ambiance sober and entertaining, a master of the performing arts in real-time.

Also, please excuse my offenses, knowing your desire for optimal representation on your filming, my attachment to my notebook could have been a distraction, though I did not allow it to do so. Regardless your request was overlooked by my insecurity and that is not Vaisnava etiquette, again please forgive me.

Was interesting how you mentioned my Swiss Army tool will not be going with me on my final day, even more, so it didn’t even make it back to the USA, was neglectful, and left in my carry-on. The customs officer was wagging his finger at me and then he knew it was not my desire to bring on-board. He offered the sheath and kept the knife, I replied, “My cuchillo, su cuchillo, keep it, they’re a set.” He smiled and tossed my precious Swiss-tool in the Peruvian Airport contraband treasure box. The second tool I’ve lost at the airport, Sa La Vie.

After returning my focus has been better and japa too. Using the notebook system and mala, rounds are much stronger and faster, averaging 18-20 rounds daily and completed earlier. Having a brain with a splayed attention span, plus being a “baby-boomer “ in the television era chanting is an ongoing practice in conscious patience.

Fortunately, Srila Prabhupada’s mercy of Buddhi-Yoga has been very successful in practical applications. It has taken many years to reign in the feverous mind, and your calming directions have also helped greatly... thank you again, this is something I will have to deal with for the rest of my life.

Now am turning around the remains of our last move and organizing our future relocation, at this rate we’re going live more with less... sounds like a good game plan. Will try to keep up to date with you and your fine classes and programs... Houston does all right, though your discourses keep it more personal.

P.S: The pic is of my journal-japa (jj), note the far-right grid.. still have 2 rounds left to go. Each 1/4" square has 6 marks, at 18 X 8, twice. Comes to 1,728 per 2 grids, each set is unique, so no duplicates keeps the mind focused and the creative juices calm. Best system I've found thus far for this insane brain.

Estuve por Lima pero no alcanzo a tomar su santa asociación espero poder verlo a fines de este mes que vuelvo a pasar por Lima.

Gurudeva prabhu haya krsna de new vrindavan me pide una carta más y me dice que tiene que ser en papel membretado le copio el texto que puede ir en la carta membretada.
