Hare Krishna, dear gurudeva and devotees. Pamho, AGTSP!

First, the good news.

1.-M. Ganga called me to teach the introductory course to Bhakti yoga for the San Borja temple. There are about 20 enthusiastic young devotees. It will be an 8 month course. It is amazing how devotees unite through service and differences are resolved naturally. In San Borja they are enthusiastic to implement education and they have blessed me by giving me that service.

2.- Some time ago I am helping Jagat pavitram in his extraordinary service of spreading the glories of Srimad Bhagavatam through his Universe Stories program. I have shared with him some points of view and I support him with the English translation for the subtitles. In the future, he plans to make the stories in English so that they will be more widely distributed.

3.- We continue with Raman reti performing a good program of sadhana and adoration to Sri Sri Laxmi-Nrsimha and Sri Sri Nitay Caitanya candra. Various readings and study. Also for some time now we are distributing prasadam to some local acquaintances apart from my family and devoted friends. Halava, cookies, sweet balls, etc.

The less good news

1.- I haven't been able to do my thesis yet. I followed all the courses, but I couldn't start the thesis. First, due to the pandemic and then due to lack of resources.

2.- Traveling to Mexico is very difficult for me, for the same reason as the previous one. Less go to India to take your association.

3.- Neither have we been able to start the NGO for the same reasons.

Well, the above three points depend on a miracle. I don't know what Krishna will want about it. On our side we make good efforts to do things. The direction of where to go and what can be done is up to Krishna. Do you have any ideas or suggestions?

IS very nice that ISKCON San Borjas is promoting academic studies.

Srila Prabhupadaś books are a solid center to all the other activities in our life, no?

You posted about resources for Thesis, Mexico, India travel and miracles, but that is exactle what I have sometimes experienced.

Consider what big things you want to accomplish then watch for some miracles and opportunities that may happen. Eg. Some work opportunity will appear in Mexico the same time as our ASA visit.

Of course, preaching to our neighbors is a miracle in the current age.

We can put a man on the moon but we can't sit and talk with the man across the street.

I have two thing to check with you.

1. A backup japa mala for me. Want to have another Japa mala as a backup mala from you. Is it possible? Yes, then I will purchase another japa mala and give to you for japa and collect after that.

HpS - No, as far as we know only one set of initiated beads.

Of course, after sixteen rounds we can chant on any kind of counter.

If you lose those, then we can hold the whole mess in our hands and chant one maha-mantra. Prabhupada says that his chanting on a set of replacments for a lost set is not necessary.

I would put in front of his picture and pray.

2. My mother is doing japa for last 17-18 years. She does 20 rounds per day. 30 rounds on ekadashi. Follow all rules, cook and offer prasadam to lord, she already read SB, BG. She is a daily reader of SB at day time. Padma puran at night time.

I wanted her to get initiation from a vaisanava parampara. 

I know there are ISKCON rules and procedures for initiation. Still am checking with you. Is it possible to get initiation from you.

She is a pious soul. She trust lord a lot. Worshipping lord for last 40+ years without fail. Am not saying this because she is my mother. Am saying because she is dedicated, witnessed her last 40 yeas.

Whatever you say will accept without any bad feelings.

Please help me to know your comments.

HpS - As you describe the situation, Yes. Certainly.

Of course, just as with Jiva Goswami Das, we need approval of the administrative side of ISKCON also.

On my early days I was so fortunate that I met Sharad Guarangi mataji. She used to guide me and one day she gave me a wonderful opportunity to associate with the serious deevotees. And she even added me to watsaap group for devotees name "Hare krishna". Here in this group daily we use to share our devotional activities ,photos, videos ,sastras , Srila Prabhupad's spiritual quotes etc. And Daily through this group sharad gaurangi mataji give classes for bhagavad gita at evening 7-8 pm and bhagvatam at 6:30-7 am.

One fine day, I shared about my desire to be your disciple at Sharad gaurangi mataji. So, on my birthday mataji gave me your framed photo as a priceless gift. From that day I started praying at your lotus feet. And with krishna's mercy I was blessed to take part in your diksha program here in Imphal,Manipur.

Gurumaharaj, I'm following the 4 regulative principles strictly and chanting 16 rounds daily. Moreover, I'm attending mangal aarti daily and on sunday I go along with sharad mataji to attend mangal aarti. And after attending mangal aarti at Iskcon mandir, me and sharad mataji go for Govindaji temple dharshan.

Gurumaharaj ,I have a strong desire to serve you. I'm bowing down my head at your lotus feet, Please allow me to serve you🙏. I've also booked my ticket and I'm arriving on 8th of December at Radhakunda. And I'll be staying there till your vyasa puja.🙏

Hace mucho que no le escribo. No encontré el código en el KD. Me había acostumbrado a reunirme con usted en gotomeeting, ahora lo extraño mucho.

Seguimos aquí en Córdoba con Deva Vrata y en compañia de varios devotos. Nos reunimos en el mandir Radha Krsna Candra los miércoles para mangalarati y programa completo los domingos, donde nos turnamos para atender a las Deidades. Sigo con el servicio de tesorería, doy una clase por mes en Clases en vivo IsKcon buenos aires, y también cada tanto en el mandir. Nos reunimos cada 15 días a compartir un capítulo del S Bhagavatam, estamos finalizando el canto 5.

Estamos soñando con ir a India a verlo en el 2024, ojalá Krsna cumpla nuestro deseo.

I hope that you are very well, walking happily through El Radha Kunda, in very good company.

HpS/ASA - AgtSP. Paoho. In Kapi Dhvaja we gave a sample of our health and situation.

We are learning to live here and adjust to the social situation in Kartika.

I haven't written to you in a long time. I didn't find the code in the KD. I had used to meet you on gotomeeting, now I miss you so much.

ASA - We still have the Saturday programs with Upendra Das. We will try to organize some programs in Spanish!

We continue here in Córdoba with Deva Vrata and in the company of several devotees. We gather at the Radha Krsna Candra mandir on Wednesdays for mangalarati and full program on Sundays where we take turns attending the Deities. I continue with the treasury service, I teach a class per month in IsK Live Classes with Buenos Aires, and also from time to time in the mandir. We meet every 15 days to share a chapter of the S Bhagavatam, we are finishing song 5.

ASA - Forest of Material Enjoyment?

We are dreaming of going to India to see him in 2024, hopefully Krsna fulfills our wish.

I wanted to ask you, if you have time, your opinion of an interview that prabhu Param Padam did with His Holiness Hrdayananda Swami, on his YT channel. Is he minimizing Srila Prabhupada's comments on the Bhagavad Gita? From minute 14.18. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tv_HZ_fE96U

ASA - We looked at it and it is a little hard for us to follow the Spanish, especially the subtle aspect of looking at Srila Prabhupada's translations and purports or looking at the dictionary understanding of the words and Maharaja's own comprehension of Sanskrit from his various readings and teachers including Srila Prabhupada and other Acharyas.

I think researching the broader Sanskrita perspective can give us deeper comprehension of our Guru's work, but understanding BG from perspective of SB and CC is more important.

From perspective of applying our Guru's translation.

For Maharaja and the kind of preaching he is doing, knowing the common Sanskrita translations might be very appropriate. I can't tell more that from the interview.
