Hare Krishna, dear gurudeva, Pamho, AGTSP!

I haven't written to you for a long time. I'm not very good at communicating in general. But I always try to keep your instructions and advice in my mind.

It was a pitty we couldn't meet again to talk about education and tell you about my projects, but that's life.

I have been systematically studying and teaching Srila Prabhupada's books for almost 15 years. In the previous stage I did what I could personally. I have tried to help about 100 devotees in their Bhakti sastri studies and as many in the Disciples Course. I currently have 6 Bhakti Vaibhava students and 5 Bhakti sastri students. I am trying to serve them in the best way I can. To tell the truth I'm a bit tired and I need a change of service.

Actually, my service in education is getting a bit complicated. In another opportunity we can talk personally about the details because I do not want to offend anyone since I am too direct and often harsh.

But other challenges, preaching opportunities are opening up and I will let you know in due course when things settle down. Of course, if Krishna wants.

For a long time I was basically doing internal preaching in ISKCON, I think that now I have the challenge of learning to preach outside, that is to say to the general public, in a more than all cultural environment, not necessarily academic. Cultivation of the human spirit.

We are already with my wife and several devotees working on the project. Distribution of culture and prasadam. Work with the municipality of Chosica and expand, again, if Krishna wants. We can live simply by distributing prasadam to my family, friends, devotees and acquaintances in the city, but if Krishna wants we can do more things.

Many times you suggested us to do programs in the city as presentations by choirs from various religious and cultural institutions such as schools and others. We would also like to work with local artists and present theater, poetry, music, puppets. Being part of the community, so they can see us that we are normal people who can contribute culture. And also invite devotees to chant the Maha Mantra, etc. Embed ourselves in the community. I think that is needed. We still have the image of being some kind of aliens who don't have much to do with the people and the community. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong.

Who am I, who are we, what is the plan, what resources do we have? Right?

I hope that you, Srila Prabhupada and Krishna will enlighten me to understand if what I think is right. When one door closes another opens I suppose.

Just try to offer the most íntimate mellows of Gaura lila. Maybe chant C. C. ?

My husband is not cancelling his ticket to Singapore to go and meet a married woman (his romantic interest).

Maharaj, should I try to prevent him from going? I have tried to bring up reasonable arguments to his parents and him and he agreed to cancel, but no cancellation still.

If he goes I’m pretty sure he will be physically intimate with her and I won’t be able to stay in this relationship, and I’m not sure I’ll be able to follow the 6 years no remarriage rule you describe as well.

How can I protect my dharma?

Today I threw up my hands and chanted in great prayers to the Lord to please protect my honor, help me follow my dharma as ordered by you, my spiritual master 🙏.

Please help us know what is our duty as a Hare Krsna wife in this regard.

Do we have the right to prevent him by other means?

I don't really know the situation perfectly nor am an advisor on the level of Lord Caitanya, nor Srila Prabhupada.

Seems to me that you should not engage in any physical violence but entusiastic argument and threats of threats from a chaste wife are not excessive.

You can spend your time praying to Krsna for some really scarey sounding curses.

Is Srila Pabhupada's first class advice.

Of course one may not be able to chant 16 rounds a day or follow other instructions for initiated standard.

Then one should work sincerely to do the best they can and Krsna will adjust our life and help us to come to the proper standard as quickly as possible.

He appreciates one who is too attached to follow the standard but is not angry at the standard and wants to advance as soon as possible.

Dear Gurudeva!

If it's not too late for cookie recipes, here goes...

In a food processor, blend:

20 dates

1 1/2 cups cashews

This will make the "date flour". For more chewy, add more dates. For a harder cookie, add less dates.

Then add a banana, and blend again.

Next through the top keep the pulse button going, while gently pouring a sweetener (agave, maple syrup, honey

..) until the mixture turns into a ball.

Then flatten out onto a cookie sheet and cut into squares.

One option is to roll the squares in coconut flakes for a nice crunchy finish (for Lord Narasimhadeva!!) Or I'm sure Lord Narasimhadeva might also like these with fresh peanut butter spread beneath the coconut flakes!

This recipe can be interchanged with any type of fruit, any type of nut, and any liquid sweetener.

I used to work at a raw vegan cafe, so the only recipe I know is the "no bake" one..

We have been eager to discuss program and outreach possibilities but we wanted to wait until you were settled at your home base. We’re hoping the allergy season is not too overwhelming and your health is good Guru Maharaj. I think a lot of us are truly stunned that we get this opportunity to have your association again and we want to make sure it is an ideal month in New Biharvan for you. Please let us know how we can best serve you. Many newcomers are looking forward to the opportunity to have a sannyasi in residency.

The steady outreach program besides our regular Friday BG class and Sunday feast is the Krsna lounge program. This will be every Thursday. We are wondering if you have interest in seminars again (possibly a devotional art seminar…each night we could discuss a different medium such as your film project, puppet theater, etc. local devotees and Sunday school puppetry artists could contribute?). This is one idea but the outreach opportunities are up to you Guru Maharaj. You are the captain of the ship. 

We also were wondering if you would be open to another Krsna meditation park program and house programs. Temple or KCC programs are also a possibility as well as yoga studio outreach or a college program. Please let us know what is of most interest and what frequency of classes and programs per week would be too much or not enough.   We are eager to serve and many devotees are eager to help with arrangements.

Some devotees will be going to Sadhu sanga but half of us will be staying in Boise at that time. We heard from Radhika Raman that traveling to Sadhu sanga may not be an interest. If it is though, there is an Airbnb available in the Spanish fork area for 2 nights and we are happy to travel with you. The festival organizers are excited to host you along with anyone else.

Thankyou Guru Maharaj for tolerating us. We are so so happy, nervous and contemplative on how to best assist. Any helpful accommodation requests would be wonderful to hear! We have time to prepare. On that note, wifi has been installed in the Tulasi apartment thanks to temple management and we can install in the KCC or temple as well before your visit.

Our focus is our movie consolidating our preaching for last 40-years, so interviewing people, collecting old photos might be a lot of our work.

We hope to organize a nice international symposium on Jung and the Bhakti Siddhanta.
