Please Gurumaharaja accept my humble obeisances to Your feet. Jaya Srila Prabhupada!!

Jaya Gurudeva!!!

I hope you had a good trip to Santiago, Chile

I'm leaving for Santiago tomorrow night. Please forgive me, I would have loved to arrive in time to greet You. But I was given a week's leave 😊, and I preferred to stay until Gaura Pournima with your wonderful Gurumaharaja Association. I'll be traveling alone; sadly, neither my husband nor my son will be able to come with me. But I'm happy to have this opportunity to receive your Darshan, beloved Gurudeva!

Here are some photos of my students from the workshop I started this year. They're already waiting for me to return so we can resume classes. They love Hindu dance and traditions. I still have so much to learn and improve in my teaching technique.

Looking forward to seeing you soon!

Hare Krishna Guru Maharaja,

Please accept my humble obeisances.🙏

All glories to you and Srila Prabhupada. 🙏

Thank you so much for your encouragement 🙏🙏

Here is the general prayer request from the temple:

Dear devotees,

Hare Krishna

I have been informed that Mitreya Rsi prabhu (Michael Parr), a disciple HG Radha Krishna Prabhu, will be undergoing a spinal surgery tomorrow that will be performed in two stages. One surgery will be performed on Monday (2/16/26) and the second one on Thursday (2/19/26)during the same week. The surgery is to reconstruct aspects of his spine including placement of spinal rod, pins, screws, and spacers. He will be an inpatient for at least a week, if all goes well, he will be discharged on Sunday, 2/23/26. He will then transition to physical therapy.

Please keep him in your prayers for a successful and speedy recovery.

And here is one reply:

Hare Krishna I came in Monday and with Krishna's mercy I will be discharged today (Friday). Mondays surgery went well Thursdays was delayed and lasted three hours plus . The pain is strong but is being managed by medication for the most part. I've been up and walked so I'm doing well thank you. I hope to make it to the temple within a week or two. I miss it greatly.

He goes very often to the nightly Bhagavad Gita class and yes I think he was in some branch of the military.

One time you started a sketch book and gave it to me to add to it. Then it went to Bhakta Angel, and finally it was to be completed by him as the last person in the "art chain".

Thank you Guru Maharaja!

Your servant,

Jaya Hari das

HpS - Yes, agtSP, I think he is the former Navy Corpman that we all know and love.

Gave us apple juice that went to Lord Nrisimha.

Thank you.

Certainly hope his body is aligned perfectly with his service.

BPC; Inquiring Regarding First Initiation

3 months, 3 weeks ago by candra108_mukhi in Hot Topics

Hare Krishna, beloved Gurudeva. AGTSP, PAMHO

I am writing with a sincere and respectful question that has been on my mind for some time. Recently, I have noticed that many devotees are still expressing interest in receiving first initiation from you. Some of them are even approaching other devotees in hopes of obtaining a recommendation.

At the same time, I clearly remember that you have mentioned on several occasions that you would not be giving further initiations. Because of this, there seems to be some confusion among the devotees.

With great respect, I would like to ask whether your position remains the same regarding first initiation, or if there has been any change. I only ask so that we may properly understand your desire and avoid any misunderstanding or unnecessary expectations among the devotees.

Please forgive me if this question is inappropriate in any way. I simply wish to serve your instructions faithfully.

Your servant,

CMDD

HpSwami - Hare Krsna. It is currently still the same. Anyone who performs a ritual sacrifice for Krsna takes Karmic reaction from the participants.

At our age we were just becoming to affected by that so we stopped.

In general, and seemingly from our medical help, our health and strength have become strong enough to travel as we are doing and we even think of initiating again, but sober analysis of the results immediately impairs us.

Makes us smile.

It would be nice if some of our disciples would start initiating.

O. K.?

All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All glories to H H Hanumat Presaka Swami Guru Maharaj.

Hare Krsna dear Guru Maharaj. Please accept my humble obeisances at Your sweet lotus feet.

HpS - AgtSP. At the current moment we don't really think that we are showing any sweet lotus feet.

Several people are glorifying us such, but we feel that we are still possessed of many rather mundane qualities.

We don't read enough or hear enough Kirtan from Srila Prabhupada. In some ways we are greedy and selfish.

Hmmm.

AgtSP and his lotus feet.

Glories to your and our venerable feet?

We are leaving for Nabadwip Mayapur Dham for Gaura Purnima tomorrow.

ASA - 👌 Super!

Then on we shall be leaving for Jagannath Puri on the night of Gaura Purnima. We are around 30 of us from Manipur. The same Matajis are offering Vasanta Rasa dance at Sri Gopaldev mandir and Sri Anuprabhu...thank you for Your endless flow of grace dear Guru Maharaj....lifetime after lifetime we remain indebted to you dear Guru Maharaj.

We are working on the translation of the Vasanta raas song in English...long long ago when I was a little kid...I had wished ...if only these songs are translated in english....thank you dear Guru Maharaj for giving this seva.

ASA - 🐒

Last Sunday we had house programme at Giridhari Prabhu's place with HG Ramachandra Prabhu from Mandalay.

Question regarding apparent singular causality in some Śrīla Prabhupāda's purports

3 months, 3 weeks ago by Namacarya das in Hot Topics

Dear Guru Mahārāja,

All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda!

Please accept my humble obeisances.

I would like to share an understanding and also a confusion that has been coming to me while reading some purports in Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, and I would be grateful for your guidance.

In one purport (SB 1.15.10), Śrīla Prabhupāda writes that after Draupadī fell at the lotus feet of Lord Kṛṣṇa, the Lord decided that all the wives of Duḥśāsana and his associates would have their hair loosened as a result of the Battle of Kurukṣetra, and that, in other words, all the wives of the Kuru family became widows because of Duḥśāsana’s insulting a great devotee of the Lord.

In another purport (SB 1.15.15), Śrīla Prabhupāda states:

“…the Lord conducted the Battle of Kurukṣetra according to His own plan. He wanted that battle to establish Yudhiṣṭhira as the Emperor of this planet, and to facilitate this transcendental business He killed all who were on the opposite party by His omnipotent will.”

I do not have a problem with what is said in the purports themselves. My difficulty is understanding the relationship between such explanations. At times, it appears that one specific cause is presented as the reason for the Lord’s actions, while elsewhere another distinct purpose is emphasized.

From my limited understanding, it seems natural that Kṛṣṇa’s actions would have multiple motives simultaneously—protecting devotees, fulfilling vows and prayers, establishing dharma, and arranging His own līlā. Yet when a purport presents one reason in a very exclusive way, and another purport elsewhere presents a different reason, I find it difficult to reconcile them without feeling some tension.

This sometimes gives me the impression—though I may be mistaken—that the descriptions are very sharp and singular, rather than balanced, even though the reality of Kṛṣṇa’s will must be multifaceted.

I am not questioning the authority of Śrīla Prabhupāda’s purports. Rather, I am trying to understand how to read them properly. Should such statements be understood as emphasizing one dominant aspect within a particular narrative or devotional context, rather than as an exhaustive explanation of all causes? Or is there another way I should be approaching these passages so that this apparent exclusivity does not disturb my clarity?

Moreover, I am sharing this as it is something I have encountered not only here but also occasionally in other contexts/purports, although I do not have further references at hand.

Thank you very much for your patience and guidance.

Your servant,

Namacarya Das

HpS ASA - AgtSP! Paoho...

Second seems like a general action that includes the specific action in first?

Battery of chaste women just one reason for two.

Okay?🙂
