WANDERING MISCREANTS

Hare Krsna!  AgtSP!  Paoho.     Here is our report, after our first fortnight near Radha-kunda

Very near.

Most of our work was just trying to settle down, establish a hermitage without agitating projects and plannings.

Yet, a thousand different people,

places,

insects,

impinge us daily!

This is Kartika month.

We can step down from the veranda and trundle barefoot for about 9 or 10 minutes, and we are in front of Sri Sri Radha kunda . . and . . .

Hundreds of bustling Vaisnava pilgrims, who change daily, every 10-minutes, and amongst them, "Hey, Hanumatpresaka Swami, do you remember me? You came for a program at our home in Vancouver, 25-years ago! This is my daughter."

"Oh, HpSwami, we heard from Sumanta Rudra that you will be in Govardhana Eco Village in January. We will join you there. We are on the United Nations Committe for Promoting a Peace Culture now".

It takes about two hours to do these 'Kapi Dhvaja's'. Are they worth it?   Fighting with the internet here in Radha Kunda, it has taken four hours.

We bought three simple student's school books in the local stationary booth at only 25-cents each!

So nice to work in one book, rather than scraps of paper to be assembled later.

Our journaling technique is always improving, if we can keep the mode of goodness.

Sunday, 9th, we did Diksa in Tamal Krsna Maharaja's Govardhana Ashrama.

A five day torrent of killer-rain was falling and all the land was sloppy or submerged, so the only place to work was the three sided cow-shed.

Moooo!

We isolated one space. Priest brought bags of nice paraphernalia, and then a cow released a small river of urine across our field of sacrifice!

In all it was so nice because we tried and Krsna is right here.

Could look across the garden and SEE Govardhana hill.

Our constant companions are Vipina bihari Das, Krsna loka Das, M. Tungavidya and Manipuri girl, but Ranchor and Govinda are 10-minute motor away and visit often... Sri Hari Das, Shyama sakhi Devi Dasi, Subhadra Devi Dasi et al.

Radha kunda is full of meetings, but about three different groups of people come driectly to our doorstep daily. GPS

Up at 1.08AM. Pushing to chant each round in 10-minutes with our old aged throat.

10th, Monday, attended the innauguration of Saccinandana Swami, Bhurijana Das and Other's ==[Govardhana Retreat Center]==.

Wow!

Over seven big buildings!

Hospice for 254 retreat participants.

Big hall, two small halls.

17th - Lokannatha Swami, 50th Diksa Anniversary and Bull Cart Trip of Prabhupada from Vrndavana to Govardhana. On stage for three hours under the scrutiny of over 2,500 people. Then Jaya advaita arrived and we snuck out. Such a heart touching program.

Contrasted with sitting alone for days in Murfreesboro Ashrama.

NIOS work with Sumanta Rudra, Abhiseka Das and Srinivasa Das.

29th November is H. H. Bhakti svarupa Damodara Swami Vyasapuja at his samadhi here and anniversary of HpSwami Sannyasa.

Sumanta Rudra coming for three days and we hope we can introduce BRC and NIOS people and motivate the Sankirtan.

24th December is HpSwamis Vyasa puja for everyone in the Parampara.

9th January maybe go to Delhi and the go to Bombay, Govardhana Eco-village until January 13th. then Manipura, Assam, Tripura, Manipura with Hari Dasa Dasa Swami.

24th Delhi and 25th with Dhruva to Madrid.

Maybe stay NVM for three weeks, them maybe go to the Canary Islands then Madrid to Houston 22 Feb.

About 4th March, exact date in the Blog, Monterrey for Gaura purnima and then Mexico City for Rama-navami weekend, then back to Houston.

Got all these tickets.

One Radha tells Krsna: Today we are going to play like Sita and Lord Rama. I will be Sita, and Sridama (Her big brother) will be Ravana. He will kidnap me an hide me and you will play Rama and all the boys will play the Monkeys and try to find "Sita"!

It is so much fun that they expand Themselves as Sita and Rama and play the lila eternally.

Today did January 10-25th travel work and paid for ticket and seat upgrade.

Tomorrow should have Eco Village and Manipura, Assam vists fixed.

Also, we visit Tungavidya Devi Dasi's family and do evening program at Gopal Mandira.

En Monterrey tenemos buena comunicación con las principales Universidades y espacios culturales, nuestro esfuerzo lo alineamos con su próxima visita para agendar fechas y preparar una buena propuesta de predica.

La familia es nuestro principal servicio, Dios bendice, mi esposa es la paciencia en persona.

Actualmente gracias al equipo de colaboradores devotos en la ciudad tenemos un centro cultural de estudio de Bhagavad Gita todos los domingos con buena asistencia, el restaurante y hotel es una gran forma de acercar a las personas a la conciencia de Krishna de una forma positiva , la ubicación es muy buena muchas personas paseando los fines de semana, ambiente cultural y muchos museos en la zona.

Nuestro principal interés es servir es su próxima visita , mi principal comunicación es con madre Asta Sakhi y mi esposa Anandamaya dd. estoy comunicando detalles para su próxima visita pero hay confusión por cambios en su itinerario y comunicación.

El proyecto de la comunidad rural esta en una excelente ubicación a 60 km de la ciudad con autopistas cercana para visitantes, contamos con 4 casas habilitadas para recibir devotos así como también ya tenemos 2 domos geodésicos para camping , terminamos la cocina industrial y estamos generando resultados con equipo de dos devotos que están entusiastas y también realizamos programa de lectura y japa.

Nos interesa ver con claridad su próxima visita cual es su recomendación, muy bueno la idea de ir a Cdmx. nuestro deseo es seguir su plan. Nuestro interés esta en establecer un programa rural educativo y ocupamos su consejo queremos inaugurar la finca en Gaura Purnima si esta usted presente y de acuerdo en Monterrey (las fechas de Gaura Purnima en nuestro pais es el 6 de Marzo 2023).

Muchas gracias por su respuesta. Primeramente informarle que ha sido una gran sorpresa conocer su intención de visitar CDMX en Ramanavami. Porsupuesto parece un gran esfuerzo de su parte que trataremos de reciprocar con los arreglos necesarios.

Actualmente prabhu Vanamali es una de las principales autoridades del templo, hablamos un poco sobre está noticia y expresa gratitud a nombre de la comunidad, le da la bienvenida y se pone a disposición.

Por otro lado la noticia favorece a los devotos que por situaciones laborales podían ir únicamente un par de días a Monterrey.

Surge la propuesta si podría llegar 4 o 5 días antes de Ramanavami?

Primeramente para que Usted pueda viajar con más comodidad de tiempo y consecuentemente más devotos sean beneficiados.

He discutido las posibilidades con los anfitriones de la Finca y expresan que la desicion que UD considere está muy bien. Por el momento no hay visitantes inscritos para el campamento, por lo que estamos a tiempo de hacer los arreglos pertinentes.

Envío las fechas de los festivales y propuesta de iniciaciones.

Thank you very much for your reply. First of all, to inform you that it has been a great surprise to learn of your intention to visit CDMX in Ramanavami. Of course it seems like a lot of effort on your part which we will try to reciprocate with the necessary arrangements.
