Gurudeva, this letter is a report on the progress in Nueva Govardhan Monterrey, as well as Sankirtan programs as your visit approaches in March 2023.

In a friendly manner it has been decided that the administration and decision of the local activities will be done by the team in Monterrey: Gadhadar Gosai and his wife Anandamaya mataji, Lalita Mataji, Bhakta Guillermo, and Govinda Pramodini. Of course with your guidance.

Nueva Govardhan has a 80% progress, working with the surrounding resources that krishna provides. We are building with ecological construction technologies with bamboo from the area, we are near the river. Krishna always sends new people to collaborate in some way in the sankirtan. We are in the construction of roads through the different forests. 3 geodesic domes in progress, and we are expected to have 5 with capacity of a family per dome. We are improving the educational spaces, greenhouse, gosala, temple room...Also today they installed fiber optic internet...

Apart from the main house we now have another house for matajis thanks to the help of enthusiastic devotees hearing about their visit.

We are designing permaculture systems and very happy as a family collaborating to serve all the devotees.

Regarding Sankirtan, Two of the most important Universities in Mexico (located in Monterrey) confirmed that we can do programs with them:

• Tec de Monterrey - March 15, from 3 to 5 pm, auditorium with capacity for 60 people.
• UDEM - March 16 from 4:00 to 5:25 pm, auditorium with capacity for 80-100 people.

The theme that both universities were most interested in developing is "Cultivation of the Human Spirit", in a conference format with questions and answers.

As an option, the possibility of showing the film "The Light of the Bhagavata" at UDEM the following week after the Sankirtan on March 16 is open. This is for the general public. What day do you consider auspicious for the screening to take place?

HpS/ASA - Look at the Vaisnava calendar and then consider the secular situation and yes, show the movie.

We can use selected verses from LOB for the two lecture programs and then invite people to join the cultural program: Kirtan, Movie, Kirtan/ Prasadam.

Also, some Tec de Monterrey directors would like to have a session to implement the cultivation of the human spirit in the teaching of students.

We require to know what date you consider auspicious to propose to them. It can be a week before or a week after Sankirtan on March 15.

HpS - Again, we have no preference.

We believe that this could be a good beginning of the relationship between NIOS and the Universities of Monterrey.

HpS - The Avanti schools in England have a very formal, detailed, working relationship with Cambridge University called Camast as far as we know.

The project in Monterrey could become formally connected with the university.

A program for the protection of cows and animals and theatre & art are also being developed and we look forward to providing you with more details in the next report.

Gurudeva, esta carta es un informe sobre el progreso en Nueva Govardhan Monterrey, así como los programas de Sankirtan a medida que se acerca su visita en marzo de 2023.

Nueva Govardhan tiene un 80% de avance, trabajando con los recursos circundantes que proporciona krishna. Estamos construyendo con tecnologías de construcción ecológica con bambú de la zona, estamos cerca del río. Krishna siempre envía gente nueva para colaborar de alguna manera en el sankirtan. Estamos en la construcción de caminos a través de los diferentes bosques. 3 domos geodésicos en proceso, y se espera tener 5, con capacidad de una familia por domo. Estamos mejorando los espacios educativos, invernadero, gosala, sala del templo... También hoy instalaron internet de fibra óptica... Ahora tenemos otra casa para matajis gracias a la ayuda de devotos entusiastas al enterarse de su visita.

Estamos diseñando sistemas de permacultura y muy felices como familia colaborando para servir a todos los devotos.

En cuanto a Sankirtan, Dos de las Universidades más importantes de México (ubicadas en Monterrey) confirmaron que podemos hacer programas con ellas:

Tec de Monterrey - 15 de marzo, de 3 a 5 pm, auditorio con capacidad para 60 personas.

UDEM - 16 de marzo de 4:00 a 5:25 pm, auditorio con capacidad para 80-100 personas.

El tema que más les interesó desarrollar a ambas universidades es “Cultivo del Espíritu Humano”, en formato de conferencia con preguntas y respuestas.

Como opción se abre la posibilidad de proyectar la película “La Luz del Bhagavata” en UDEM la semana siguiente después del Sankirtan del 16 de marzo. Esto es para público en general. ¿Qué día considera usted auspicioso para que se lleve a cabo la proyección? 

También a algunos directores del Tec de Monterrey les gustaría tener una sesión para implementar el cultivo del espíritu humano en la enseñanza de los estudiantes. Requerimos saber qué fecha considera usted auspiciosa para proponerles. Puede ser una semana antes o una semana después del Sankirtan del 15 de marzo. 

Creemos que este puede ser un buen comienzo de relación entre NIOS y las Universidades de Monterrey. 

También se están desarrollando un programa para la protección de vacas y animales y teatro&arte y esperamos brindarle más detalles en el próximo informe.

Gurudeva Perú is in crisis. We have a New president. The former president is in Prison. There is a lot of violence in all Perú.

Kali yuga in all its display. We live with fear. I am so sad. It comes to my mind.... In Vrindavan only Krsna and Balaram kill demons.

I offer My prayers. It's a pity that the majority is just concern for their own problems.

In Kali-yuga it occurs everywhere, no?

I think SB 1.16-17 describes this situation eg. People who are really demons dress as noble Ksatriyas, get control of the government and then devour the citizens like greedy wolves.

By Krsna's mercy we can have shelter of a King like Maharaja Pariksit who can stop the Kali yuga, but even better is to directly take shelter of Hari-nama.

It is like and umbrella in the middle of the rain.

We can also pass out umbrellas to others by preaching Hari-nama.

If people do not want Hari-nam then of course that is because they are little devils who actually want to be the big devil.

They do not want to improve the situation.

Attachment to the mode of goodness is also Maya.

As we advance we see that our body is a puppet we can use in this material drama.

If it is attacked by people like mad dogs who tear it up as permited by Krsna, then we even laugh at their foolishness.

Chant 16-nice rounds. Follow four principles etc.

Then whatever happens to us is Krsna's arrangement as our teacher and as our general.

Mis Saludos Respetuosos Saludos y Reverencias, Gurudev Maharaj.

Toda Gloria y Reverencias a Srila Prabhupada. Estimado Gurudev, le escribo, para comunicarle, que estoy preparando, un pronto viaje de regreso a Mayapur......pues es maravilloso, es una belleza en sí misma aunque no he podido ir a todos los templos......... Empecé hacer Servicio en, El Templo de JAGANNAT, Rajapur.... En la limpieza de los Pullari, donde se encuentra las vestimentas de Las Deidades, Y de planchar las ropas de Srila Prabhupada, también de Jagannat, Subadra y Balaram.

Y el Harinam todos los Días por la mañana después del Mangal Arti y el rosario...... Distribuyendo libros..... Y con los devotos que participo, son de diferentes Nacionalidades, Bangladesh, Portugal, Grecia, Rusia, Italiano, Peruano.....

Me siento muy apenada de no haberle participado.

Por medio del Block no pude hacerlo.

Dos veces le envié, con la ayuda de Mataji Mitravinda, y la tercera no entro, porque ya no tenía, ayuda de ella.

Gurudev, tengo un piso alquilado.... Que lo deje apartado y cuando regrese lo ocuparé, es un piso muy austero, pero para mí es como un palacio porque si me lo permite Usted pondré, a las Deidades de JAGANNAT, SUBADRA Y BALARAM.

Tuve la oportunidad de ir a JAGANNAT PURI y entrar en ella..... Es una experiencia... Que quizás no hay palabras para poder explicarla.......... Pero solamente le diría que me emociono muchísimo y no puedo olvidar su hermoso ojo, que con las justas pude ver, por la cantidad de gente que había... Con gran ardiente Devoción.

Mi estimado y querido Gurudev, con mucho respeto le escribo estás líneas para hacerle participe que el 12 de febrero será mi viaje y estaré una temporada.

real love is when really serve other person, even if it does not seem logical to us?

Is that correct.. then what is use of the logic(logos ) actually?

HpS - AgtSP! As we understand Western philosophy, Logos, logic, is that which connects us.

Look at Etymology of the word?

Psychology concects us to the mind.

Meteorology connects us with the weather.

The industrialize culture accepts Euclids Principles as their primary logic, with is based upon certain philosophical principles such as defintion of a point etc.

Look at these and you see they are very definite ontological ideas.

Christian tradition accepts our Lord Jesus Christ as the logos.

Different kind of logic.

Euclidean logic is certainly useful in Krsna consciousness.

We are using it here to arrange our ideas so that we can contemplate them, go beyond the arithmetric level. To love Krsna includes knowing Him. In the beginning that very well must include a Euclidean logic, but with a little of that we can proceed to other types of logic eg. puified sentiments quickly.
