We feel sad that we cannot be with so many devotees who have hosted us etc. over so many years.
Beyond that, there are teachers who helped us, family, school friends, government people, business people.
Our Social Security representative here is Ms. Brown. I don't think I have ever met her, but she is responsive, works the system to take care of us. It is so wonderful. When we write or talk to her we try to inject whatever we have to offer in terms of Brahma-jnana. Money can't pay for that kind of personal effort.
Buying boxes of 50-packs, of 1-oz. packs, of Planter's P-nuts etc. and then offering them to Lord Nrsmhadeva (I think He is a P-nut Person) and then leaving a few with the Bank Teller, Post-man et al. Is so satisfying.
Every American loves Mr. P-nut! He has a third eye. A Danda. A graceful threefold bending posture. He is celibate.
Was thinking this was Maya: "HpSwami you are such a Sahajiya".
At that moment was walking up the path to Banabatta Das's house and right on the hedge was a Mister P-nut package!

We can be in touch with telecommunication. It is Ravana's version of telepathy, no? Then when we go to Goloka we are all in communication be everyone communicating with everyone else in complete smart-transparency.
The only person to talk to/for/about is Krsna!
We are trying to get a regular weekly, fortnightly, telecommunication schedule. Full one-hour class a day now is too much. Reading NOD during FMS for example is very potent. We want to hear enough to keep pure, become more pure, so we can serve as teachers to the innocent people that Krsna sends to us!

VISITING THE BORO
Jaya hari Das, Nandu-lal Das for example have mercifully expressed desire to visit here! That's great. Right now we really don't expect to travel much. Maybe to Rich Mound because Allegiant has a direct flight.
If we travel we need someone to pick us up, carry us there, and bring us back.

In Murfreesboro, 902 Hillcrest Drive, we have a 1952 trailer house.
Basic bones are solid, but the superficial stuff: Roof, walls, plumbing, are a shamble.
Small.
O.K. for Brahmacaris and Sannyasis and guys who are happy camping in the forest. Drawing bucket water for everything.
For Grhastha and Vanaprastha couples, the community here often hosts people in their homes, but that means getting in touch with them personally.
Srinivasa Das, Sundara-radhika Devi Dasi and The Sugopi-radha Devi Dasi, visited several times. It has been very delightful.
They use AirBNB to find interesting places.
For me it is essential that we get a physical FMS going here.

Otherwise we will be dragged back to the lotus feet of Nila-madhava or even Govinda-candra (I think that maybe the next time we visit India, our gross body will be in a jar 😁).
If we plan these visits then we can make them useful for practical Sankirtan service - Eg. visiting places of pilgrimage, like the Civil War memorials (???), Stones River. Getting to know the community. Working in the ASA Ashrama (making movies). Developing community, orchards, College here.

There was an Eco festival at the Alachua, New Raman-reti, temple farm today … was very nice… there were classes on mozzarella cheese making, incense making, making compost… dozens of devotee vendors selling prasad, etc

ASA - AgtSP We hope to see more details! The towns we live in, in the industrialized world, are basically organized by sewer, garbage, water, electricity, ambulance, hospital structures. The schools are rather impersonal. Parents don't know too much about the parents of their children's students.
Who is your Chief of Police, Mayor?
There is opportunity to develop electronic villages. We connect by telecomunication. We don't walk to neighbors, relative's house, we drive .... or fly ----- .
So using this Blog to build ASA into a member of ISKCON that is a community of friends and not just an institution is great.

We read about suicide by Chota Hari das Thakur (servant of Mahaprabhu ) and Sati (wife of Lord Siva canto 4). Now as little we know, there was no approval taken from any authority before commencing for this step. Still the consequences were positive.
What are views of ASA on this?

Yes, even M. Pariksit asked for approval. Yet, Sati is very special case, she is Durga Devi herself. Later there is story of how she wanted approval of her husband for her activities, but was strong minded and acted independently and there was apparently a bad result. Of course, she could not get approval from her father to commit suicide.
So, normally we should confirm and conviction that we have with Guru, Sadhu and Sastra.

We read one copy of Srila Prabhupada's orginal first canto SB and remember that he was expressing that taking to Bhakti yoga is suicide.

We are ok. Following our sadhana (16R, 4.30AM, 4P). Worshipping our deities before leaving for work. Then reading SB everyday.
ASA - AgtSP. When do you go to work? How do you go? Bicycle? Is it dangerous going in public in Lima?
Things at school are ok. Last week we, my 8th grade students and I, went to the theater. We see [saw 🙂] HAMLET. A very interesting version... all the actors have Down's Syndrome. They presented their point of view of being Hamlet... "to be or not to be"
