How are YOU?

We are ok. Our sadhana (16R, 4.30AM, 4P) is going well. Worshipping our deities before leaving for work. Then reading SB everyday.

My appointment at the hospital was ok. My doctor said that the kidneys (transplanted 12 years ago) will stop working very soon. So it seems I will back to hemodialysis again soon. They don't know when, they just said it can happen anytime. I am still processing it, because it would change everything. However, We keep in mind that everything Krsna does for us is perfect!

Things at school are ok. I will travel with one of my groups to Oxapampa. we will do agricultural work and social work in one community.

I guess it is like your good self. You have to follow rules as a lawyer.

He said that he tried to explain this before but guess he missed the mark.

It goes on to explain this as even having conversations in a "secluded place". Of course, this also means individual telephone calls in a rigorous sense.

It is not to just avoid the tricks of Maya in causing gross fall downs. It is also to avoid becoming habitualed to an informal ambience in our dealings with the opposite sex.

Then walking, talking with NgD, Dr. Desai, full evening program with Radha Natabara.

One hour of eye straining, heart gaining, editing of SOLARIS/Cultural Portal, Dr. Samaresh.

Please excuse my use of acronyms, shooting for time revelations, too much Seva! Guess now discretion is needed even more, Raja-Guna all around.

Regardless, am grasping moments of refreshing enlightenment & delved into the “Gayatri Book” from Sacinandana Swami. Although I’ve only just started the book I am in over my head. Tremendous information and excellent research have gone into this publication, quite deep will have to swim through this one slowly.

Chapter one, text five elaborates on Bhagavata-marga (way of the Srimad Bhagavatam) and Pancaratrika-vidhi (way of Temple Arcana), seems to be another case of “Acintya Bheda Bheda Tattva,” Lord Caitanya’s magical philosophical formula. This is just the first few pages, and my brain is already being tested.

Ascertaining the qualities and applications of these foundational and advanced practices takes some sincere consideration. To begin with the platforms of bhakti need to have developed for essential appreciation and experience and this can be through devotional service. The inceptive qualities in Buddhi yoga and the absorption of Bhakti yoga may both bring understandings of the Lord’s mercy.



“Bhagavata Marga” is the go-to manual, seeming more Buddhi yogish’ whereas the “Pancaratrika-vidhi” acts like Bhakti, though it is dealing with Arcana. Now we are informed these two are the other way around. Now to clarify will assist in more understanding of Spiritual contraindications in mystical moments. Very interesting for advancing devotees keep getting more intrigued by the Lord’s hidden messages.

From what samples I’ve gleaned thus far is that the message is the same on the sciences of self-realization and that is, sincere service to our Guru’s matures our realizations and also strengthens our faith in the Sampradaya. The mutual connections are our insurance of getting devotional service correct and also still allow new joys of spontaneity. Such is Krishna consciousness, life with living knowledge that does not stop, so much to look forward to.



Meanwhile, trudging along the treadmill of construction work at the Bhaktivedanta Institute, home maintenance etcetera, and while it seems like an ongoing, daunting dilemma, japa comes to jolt our lulls of monotony, reminding us this is why we’re here... then a happy event is approaching here in our little temporary domain...Ratha Yatra in Jacksonville this weekend!. Seems the good Lord keeps us from too much of the mundane and this time I’m able to freely participate. San Francisco’s Ratha Yatra consumes me with service... both of these festivals bring so much joy, hope to die while dancing in the Spiritual platform. We’ll see what Sri Krishna has planned.

Then, of course, you and the Subhra Devi Dasi are going to actually visit us for two days and two nights! In will be a Memorable Weekend.
