Then we directly talked with Radhika-rama Das about the current need of human society.

Dr. Desai is just back from the hospital so could not walk. Vijaya Ji goes to children and grandchildren for the weekend in Hendersonville.

Really it is walking & talking about NIOS etc for us. Only chance we have human contact many days here.

We read about suicide by Chota Hari das Thakur (servant of Mahaprabhu ) and Sati (wife of Lord Siva canto 4). Now as little we know, there was no approval taken from any authority before commencing for this step. Still the consequences were positive.

What are views of ASA on this?

Yes, even M. Pariksit asked for approval. Yet, Sati is very special case, she is Durga Devi herself. Later there is story of how she wanted approval of her husband for her activities, but was strong minded and acted independently and there was apparently a bad result. Of course, she could not get approval from her father to commit suicide.

So, normally we should confirm and conviction that we have with Guru, Sadhu and Sastra.

We read one copy of Srila Prabhupada's orginal first canto SB and remember that he was expressing that taking to Bhakti yoga is suicide.

We are ok. Following our sadhana (16R, 4.30AM, 4P). Worshipping our deities before leaving for work. Then reading SB everyday.

ASA - AgtSP. When do you go to work? How do you go? Bicycle? Is it dangerous going in public in Lima?

Things at school are ok. Last week we, my 8th grade students and I, went to the theater. We see [saw 🙂] HAMLET. A very interesting version... all the actors have Down's Syndrome. They presented their point of view of being Hamlet... "to be or not to be"

My family is ok. My niece (Aitana) will be baptized on May 6th. She will be 6 months soon. Hare Krsna, Mataji will help us with the Annaprasna ceremony.

Gurudev my realization and reflection is that definitely due to my being part of a established sampradaya , I am sure to succeed.

In my current stage I feel I have done some bhakti so, I might have to take birth again. But I sincerely hope that next birth I won't have the anarthas I have now. I will be born in ISKCON vaishnava family and be blessed with association of devotees from my childhood. This I somehow think might happen.

HpS - Maybe in Nabadvipa with Nimai.

I also feel that maybe by extreme mercy of Radha and Gaura Nitai and yourselves, I might be succeed this life also.

I have never tried to justify my wrongdoings by philosophizing it. By nature and it's weakness sometimes I fail. But as you said we get up again and try again. I sincerely hope Srimati Radharani will notice that. If not, still I hope to keep trying. Someday my heart will melt and that will attract Sriji Radharani to notice me.

I am chanting my 16 rounds and following the 4 regs . Mangal aarti also somedays .

I also started going to a nearby narasimha temple and sing harinaam everyday evening for 40mins loudly . No one joins but still this loud harinaam kind of gives me enthusiasm to follow.

Some one must notice!

I hope to continue it. Please bless that I can keep doing it. I feel this is better than going to ritwik temple for me now. End goal is to chant harinaam . And here I can loudly chant my heart out. I am attaching the pic of the deity there.

Life was miserable couple of months before with lots of ups and downs due to which i was not able to give you updates about my Sadhana. Please forgive me Maharaj.

HpS/ASA - Ooof. We all missed your reports.

I have learned a very big lesson after coming to India, that without temple service and devotee association its hard to survive and continue doing daily sadhana.

I have been begging to Kalachandji to call me back to Dallas and engage me in His service.

Here in India it is very difficult to practice bhakti since there is no temple service nor devotee association.

It has become a habit of going to the temple and doing service since 4 years. By your mercy we got lots of services from last one and half year since we were second initiated.

Kalachandji is very very merciful [and handsome!]. Without temple services its very frustrating and empty Guru Maharaj.

HpS/ASA - Our lives are like dancing on the heads of Kaliya as he tries to bite Krsna. You have to juggle responsibilities for your body, family, society, Church etc. Ooof. Daily dose of Hari nama Japa and constant chanting, and in Kali yuga we can dance on Kaliya's heads with no mortal bites, and even help Krsna subdue this evil one.

We went to Tirupati for 2 days

and we were able to take darshan of Lord Balaji

very closely [!].

I went to Tirupati after 20 years.

It was very nice Maharaj [Well being in India is not ALL bad!].

We also went to Varadaraja Perumal temple.

The deity their is exact carbon copy of Kalachandji.. with such a big and welcoming smile.

We are going back to Dallas on 18th [of May?] and then will take things from there and plan accordingly.

By your mercy hopefully Kalachandji will engage us in His services and I will be able to assist you in His services.

Please engage me in your services Guru Maharaj and give us your blessings always… we are in need of it very much. Your blessings are the biggest strength for us.

Your question made me think. I apologize for late reply. I think by nature we look for easier things acccoustic and visual is easy.

That's why so many friendships are superficial.

My firm belive is that if you are a serious devotee and your heart is regularly cleaned everyday with chanting, including living your life with good principles, we have an access to one more connection.

Connection through the heart.

A devotee can feel and communicate with his or her heart.

That connection, that love, that compassion is so special that you don't need visual or acoustic help to have friendship or connection to the devotee.

we will be able to express our thoughts on the matter 9-less times. 🙂

Our thought would be that in the beginning our hearts may be very hard, even stonelike.

We may see everyone and everything for our gratification.

Even if our gratification is to be praised by others for our "charity" and "humanism".

So, we can't communicate heart to heart, or Buddhi to Buddhi, Bhava to Bhana, spiritual intelligence to spiritual intelligence.

So, Krsna and Guru come in front of our eyes and ears, and smile, chant, dance with such potency that it can reach our dull heart and change it.

As we become purified, softened at heart, become Goswami, then (BG 10.12-13) we can associate with other soft hearted people, saints, but it will always be possible, like in Caitanya-caritamrta through the purified senses also.
